An Honest Lion introduces Quince Garcia who is a born and bread South Londoner, who grew up in the South East part of the area. Around Peckham, Camberwell, Walworth and Catford. This film is about his support for Millwall and growing up with the the interest in a club that has been linked to a lot of negative media head lines.

My mate garry stricher would travel from Bath to Millwall every home game for years plus away games he used to say Millwall won't give you silverware but it will give you priceless memories,, Rip garry

There was a large greek community in southlondon that went to Millwall in the 50s and 60s. Mostly the fish shop owners in the area. We would all stand together in the corner of the Ilderton Road end. Happy memories

No matter whats gone on in our past..or how many battles wev.e had and theres been many over the years...all us older lot from the 50.s are mens men..and at times we come together as neutrals..Lee Rigby and Isla.R.I.P.. have done just that brought us together in unity.. i.m happy to stand alongside you or any other Hammer thats out to show respect to those that need it...🦁⚒

I think it's Manzies pie and mash shop.everyone to their own but I prefer arments in westmoreland road walworth. Im South London to the bone but my favourite pie& mash shop in London is in Leyton ill travel all the way over there just for their grub I always enjoy it but I always feel guilty about being disloyal to my manor

The FC is in Rotherhithe - South London, not Millwall - North London.

I know what you're saying about the press these days Millwall is one of the most family oriented clubs in the country and do loads for charity and the local community but the press never talk about that. Last year I took my granddaughter to a game; we had a great day there was no trouble whatsoever but the press reported "violence flairs at Millwall" because two drunks had a fight in a pub a mile from the ground nothing to do with Millwall or football. We've come to expect it now; if two dogs have a fight on any patch of grass in Bermondsey or Rotherhithe the papers will do a story about trouble at Millwall

Understand you not being sure about that blackpool home shirt in tangerine ,is your clubs away kit it seems in last few years we've been in championship ,at times and prem even around 10 yrs ago people of thought ,that tangerine and white looks good and more and more seem to be using it ,keep off only club in football tangerine and white .
