Most construction workers will remove the guard as soon as they get a new grinder including me. But as you allready know when that grinder get hung up and jumps across your hand it hurts more than a cut LOL. I'm a welder and a plumber and the cordless grinder comes in handy ofcorse when welding but its a handy tool when plumbing also. Cutting pvc and cutting concrete and sheet metal when outing a vent in a gas water heater. Thanks for sharing. Only thing I don't like about my cordless grinder is that dang safety thing that shuts down my grinder.
Thanks URJB. A good primer for Milwaukee 2680-20 vs other corded grinders. Like all power tools the 2680-20 is useful for certain applications. Another good tool for the kit. I also own a corded Makita. Good tool. No one tool does everything. Where possible, nothing beats a corded tool.
