So, by popular request - or even demand - we are building ourselves a park through time starting with the park which was set in 1930! Based on Golden Acre in Leeds, this little park hosted a ballroom, boating lake, multiple rides and attractions plus the world famous railway. Since the war it has become a fully fledged theme park and now that Disney is on the scene, we really need to up our game.
Well, you love your realistic Planet Coaster parks, so go around one more time and go for series number 8. Blimey. This time we are coming after Paulton's Park, Drayton Manor, Wallibi Holland and Chessington World Of Adventures. Set in the UK and started on a blank map.

Using realism I’ve learnt from my experience of working for a real-life theme park company and over 4000 hours of Planet Coaster play time. Using true-to-life principles, we walk through each stage of the build reasons why things are built in a certain way- as well as some top tips on how these were achieved too by pulling them apart for you to see. What if Cedar Fair opened a park in the UK? Would it look like Alton Towers? Thorpe Park? Or would it take on the form of more American parks like Cedar Point? Canada's Wonderland? Or would it be more themed like DollyWood, Legoland, Busch Gardens or SeaWorld? Oh, and don't forget Six Flags too! What about China? I hear Flying Kiss theme park in China is a good one too! Well, one thing is for sure, realistic Planet Coaster parks don't come much more realistic than this and let's be honest, other Planet Coaster Let's Play or Planet Coaster gameplay videos won't give you the real reasons why things are as they are. Where do you place rides, rollercoasters, shops, paths, plazas, car parks, entrance areas, tickets, turnstiles, maintenance sheds and so on? I'll tell you where as we up the Planet Coaster Realism game! This is more than just a Planet Coaster Tutorial; this is a Planet Coaster best park ever!' Just so you know, my realistic series uses Planet Coaster Sandbox. It's time to get Planet Coaster real! Episodes with rollercoasters also have rollercoaster povs too. This one hurt a bit at first - I just loved that mine train! BUT, the new coaster is perfection, I love that it plays homage to the mine train, AND the mine train lives on in the 1990 map, so it’s all good! Can’t wait to see how the series finishes out! If I had to guess who makes a return, I gotta go with my fave professor :)

I've been subscribed to this channel since Raygate Lake, and have loved every park you've done, but this one takes the cake! Building a park that respects, works with, and adapts its history is THE most realistic thing you've done in the realistic park series. I don't know how 800 people could abandon such an ambitious project. I still have one more episode to go in this series, and am really looking forward to the TMTK-less park since I play on console. Keep up the inspirational work!

This would be a legendary night ride! Please add in a night ride in the final tour. All of us would love that. Also, when you said how Kings Island reuses Big Bad Wolf's station, I think you meant how it reuses Son of Beast's station. Also, Big Bad Wolf is at BGW. However, I can see how you may have mixed this up since both rides have been removed (around the same time), The Bat and KI's suspended coaster are nearby, and I don't know if you knew this, but the scare maze that uses the Son of Beast station is or was called (I can't remember) Wolf Pack! (Or something like that.) So, maybe that's where you got confused? Anyway, great video! Please keep making these, and see you (and probably the professor) next week!

Kings island never had big bad wolf. Pretty sure that was Busch gardens. But kings island did reuse the station from the original bat for vortex when they built it and currently still use the Son of Beast station for a haunt maze during halloween

It took a lot to achieve that too.. the last quarter of the coaster gave me no end of trouble, especially with the log flume. Totally worth it..

Losing followers may be a glitch in youtube. You aren't the only creator to say that recently. This series has been top notch. Lot's of great builds and history to boot. Keep on keeping on Chacho. You are doing great!

There has been an algorithm change over the last 6 to 9 months that have seen creators with between 10 and 25k subs forgotten by it in favour of tiny creators and then to compensate the loss of revenue big creators like Mr beast who bring in the money. Us in the middle are left to fend for ourselves...

Always sad to lose a good mine train, but the new coaster pays homage to the past so well and looks great! It's like how Dollywood transitioned from Thunder Express to Tennessee Tornado, but on a larger scale. In their case a tornado came through and twisted up the tracks and created the ride we now have today, pretty cool. Sorry about the subs, ive unsubscribed to many channels recently... without actually doing it. It gets to where I wonder where a certain channel went one day only to discover they were making videos all along, but somehow I was no longer subbed. Gotta love youtube...

That's one loooong ride and sooo cool. It just keeps going and going and going. Great job on re-using the previous terrain. That did look like a cool part of the queue where you dropped it into the mine trains trackway. Can we have a walk through of that?

I guess 35 episodes is just too much for a series that sort of rumbles on.. I've enjoyed doing it - it's been different because of having to fit stuff into the space that was already there.. but I guess it's not to many people's taste

That's the way Kings Island did it when they removed the original Bat. While waiting in line for the Vortex, you could see where they just took a took and cut the main supports from the Bat just above the concrete pillars.

Potentially for your next coaster , maybe a Gci , similar to renegade or prowler , starting like a out and back then being a twister layout in honour of that one wooden coaster that I forgot the name of . maybe for the next addition maybe go for more of a familly coaster , gerslauer , zamperla … or maybe a 2 different coaster models from the same company … who knows . Keep up the great work

I freaking love it. I was playing with them yesterday. It is something that defo needs to be in coaster 2 and paves the way for something similar with food places..

@@Y2Knoop they aren't fully functioning.. not like the gift shops are, but still better than coaster was. I don't do them because I'm not good at zoos and people don't watch it anyway.

@Nerdchacho there's a lot of people into planet zoo. ZSH, leaf, Cesar creates, adamup, to name a few, have a huge fan base. It's not as big as planco I think but the people into it are there

@@Y2Knoop exactly. A planet coaster creator making zoos does not get recommended to viewers because those other creators already have an established fan base. Sadly, you can't just cross over games and expect audiences to follow anymore. The algorithm is not kind in 2023..
