I seriously wish you'll be able to lead minecarts in the future. You can kinda make a "train" that goes in a straight line with no variation, but it must be headed with a furnace minecart and it's technically only ran by minecart collision in the back, not the front

It would be cool if they required chains for connecting mine carts instead of leads, but had them work the same way. It would definitely add a good use for chains besides decoration, plus it would make sense

@@kevcraft9852Bedrock Edition intentionally does not have furnace minecarts, and Jeb is on record as saying he's considered removing them from Java Edition, but that hasn't actually happened yet. They still exist and are fully functional in Java Edition.

@@PJOZeus "Up" through it? Only if you use bedrock breaking exploits first to remove the base of it, but then yes. But to get back to the overworld, you could also launch the pearl and drop it *down* through the exit portal without breaking any bedrock.

Technically another portal's will open up the area and load a couple blocks on either side of it. So you can use that to essentially load the end portal. And then as long as you have the angle correct to you can shoot an arrow through the nether portal through another nether portal and then some rue the end gate. No theoretically, you could even shootubes in arrow through another portal in the end and hit yourself with it.But that would be a nightmare to actually figure out how to do it right.

@@borttorbbq2556 i'm not sure you could make a full loop cause i think the end portal spawn is below the return portal? and often a good distance away. it'd be interesting to find out if you could do a full loop though!

@@rosethorn20 I'm pretty sure the only way you could get a full loop is, if you have a really amazing seed but theoretically you could connect neither portal's together in such a way that you can basically make aid. Well, tunnel and transport said arrow quite a long waysince momentum is conserved. One of my favorite seeds.I think you could potentially do it depending on what your settings are

I can think of some really cool uses of the portal pearls. If you use the fishing rod glitch to activate redstone across distances you and instantly teleport into the end or nether remotely.

Leashing a boat is excellent! You can use that for decorations instead of having to bury a chicken on a leash if you want to use the leash as a decorative rope.

Imagine the boat trains that are possible now. Just have, like five of your friends in a boat, leashed to the one behind them, and the player on the front pulls them all along.

I don't actually think the mail system would change much. It makes use of items through portals, whereas this update changes functionality of thrown pearls and mobs.

Yknow I’ve made docks in bedrock and leashed the boat to a fence post but I’ve never made a dock in Java and so didn’t realize it wasn’t a thing. I did think you couldn’t move the boat with the lead tho for some reason.

i appreciate that we now have the ability to auto break blocks (without tnt duping.) it's a feature i've wanted for a very long time - but i'd much rather have a block breaking redstone component, so that we could construct more than a single block breaker per world, in any dimension. plus, i generally feel that it's a bit cheap taking advantage of these sorts of mechanics for farms, which seem intended more for quality of life than as "gameplay" mechanics, if that makes sense

iirc, there was a bug related to the dark shadows that could appear in the sky for no reason, which I think is probably one of the best long-standing issues to be fixed.

That won't happen. Bedrock used to be able to hold large mobs in boats, but that was removed.

They removed that ability in Bedrock ever since camels were added. "Parity" was their reason since Java can't do that.

Leashable boats? In java? Never thought this day would come, to be honest. Finally, some useful parity from bedrock to java. Now, if only this was followed by potions and dyes in cauldrons, armor stands that react to redstone and flowers producing more flowers of the same type when bonemealed directly... I was also surprised that the update is scheduled essentially on my birthday. That's funny.

If you were hoping for more stuff in 1.21 just remember it’s technically still going. Sub updates of versions have been known to add more stuff to the game. (like 1.19.4, 1.20.5, etc)

There's quite a bit of new content as well as tons of technical and minor changes paving a bright future for technical players (modders, mapmakers, datapack writers) People shouldn't underestimate this update. I am regaining trust in Mojang. There have definitely been some great decisions going on over there.

Lead-able boats.. That means you could make a full-blown base-relocation/expedition, piloting one boat, while having like 5 fully-loaded chest boats leaded behind you.

Two things im excited for. Pearls and projectiles going through portals, and the potential automation for the end platform. Ive still wanted more things to do with the end, and having the potential for a timer based obsidian farm (among other things), assuming they don't revert the block dropping effect as a bug. Hoping

Create has that. It also has auto players. However, those blocks basically remove any player necessity from the game, so I see why they aren't in the game proper.

Boat leashes are what we've asked for for a long time. A weapon to end all other weapons is not. Why Mojang believe the mace isn't powerful enough yet is beyond me. And railways potentially leading through portals now is also an exciting prospect.-

Being able to leash a boat means you could still drive a chestboat around and have mobs in a second one behind. FANTASTIC for setting up/moving base areas and bringing a cow or a sheep along.

Can you throw an ender pearl through multiple portals? You could build a tunnel with chain of portals, where in nether they are placed next to each other, and in overworld with 8 blocks gap (or 7?). That way with just one enderpearl throw you can travel very fast and reliably.
