For anyone wondering you can no longer use Encased fans as it doesn't generate rotational energy. As alternatives you can attach a windmill to the Harvester (Replace the normal bearing with a Windmill Bearing) or use a water wheel. You will have to connect the water wheel to the the Mechanical Bearing.
Hey all! Just a little disclaimer: I have titled this video "The Best Farm" because it doesn't cost a ton of resources to create and can be used to automate almost all resources inside of the game. Of course having the "best" farm is an opinion and there are tons of other farms on Reddit and RU-vid so feel free to leave your own recommendations in the comments :)
you have stuck with magma/fan design, but please check create 3.2 in mod tutorials too - there is a great ideas: - You can use 8 wools at windmind bearing and connect everthing there. That will be power source and contraption - all in one!
Another design suggestion regarging previos tutorials (iron farm): 1. You can extract flint from the basin directly to the lava below brass funnel 2. You don't need brass funnel to extract iron ingots from basin - just put a fliter into basin slot, depot nearby and andesite funnel to take from depot. Saving brass funnels and space. Basin will output to depot, funnel will take everything from depot. 3. Actualy you can point funnels to INSERT inventories pressing shift when placing them 4. Same for other blocks - drills, etc - pressing shift is placing them in other direction. 5. Washing do not benefits from fan speed. To wash faster you need "drop on ground" design, items will stack by core minecreaft mechanics, so you can wash whole stach at 4 RPM for almost same time as you washing 1 gravel. 6. In addition to previous - fans can push items into funnels, so you don't need belts, so basicaly washing on the ground + brass funnel will be more effective than any "along the belt" setup

I recommend using 2 regular bearings instead of the radial one. Thats because it may pick up some blocks if placed. you can also place harvesters right next to the sticky part of a bearing if you place and break a block behind them.

The fan doesn't spin when you place it on a magma block and flick the lever. atleast for me. it just sits there and does nothing. yes its facing the right way
pause at 4:48 fun fact when you build a farm like this harvesting blocks don't harvest the 4 adjacent blocks by adjacent i mean like that water if a tree or plant grows there on the same Hight as that chassis it cant be harvested to fully utilize the area you need one more of your harvesting block type but turn 90 degrees from the rest of them in this instances the front of it would be facing words the right while its left side is touching the chassis there for to fully utilize a radial farm that extends 4 blocks out you need 5 of your chosen harvesting block plow, harvester, saw or drill as you can see in 7:55 the adjacent crop does not get harvested cause the middle of the crop is never going to touch the front middle of a harvester this tip will also fix the sugarcane farm shown at 8:16
I made a similar farm but for some reason, the crops get glued to the linear chassis, making them rotate with the harvester. I'm kinda confused on this one.
Just gettin' into Create. Great vid! Is this farm type vertically stackable? I'm wondering how you'd link the portable storage interfaces. EDIT: Funnels. 😁
I have made version for sugarcane... hoping it would work for bamboo... unfortunately it does not.... I must find this with possibility of cutting the bamboo or trees.
does encased belts still exist i see them everywhere on yt but cant find it in game also ps can u make it longer and linear somehow and still works to move items to chests?
yeah no still doesn't work redstone isn't anymore compatible with the mod it has been erased since the lastes update I watched every single RU-vid video tutorial and all of them are super outdated
