BTW was so cool. It's crazy to think it had so much machinery even before pistons were in the base game. I feel like mods really got power-creeped, the mechanical look is so much more satisfying than hyper-futuristic teleporting everything around

@@caesural yeah I agree. While I do like future stuff. Minecraft mechanical mods are really fun.

@@thatmcgamer3106 Futuristic stuff is cool, but sometimes "futuristic" is used as an excuse to make things overly convenient, in my opinion. For example, Mechanism's Digital Miner that you place it down, feed it power and it mines whatever you want, has a big radius, neatly replaces ores with stone and even has fortune/silk touch. Kinda ridiculous.

@@caesural yeah I agree. I like to have something set up and just watch it function. Like I had some mod(I forgot) and when I went to browse I found emersive engineering. Same machines, just visually better.

It’s a bit of a shame that most things create has, mods already did a decade ago like BTW and a few other mods.

I had optifine running 1+ years ago. Then I installed forge and create recently, and it just worked. Sorry, I don't know the 'trick' to make it work.

you just put the optifine mod into your: %appdata%/minecraft./mods folder
