I love watching your stuff when I feel mentally or physically crappy. You have such a comforting personality that I always feel better.

The moment the tree decided to kill the chicken was so hilarious. But I think the chicken deserved it because it disrespected the tree by standing above it assuming that it will not be able to grow while there is weight above it. The moral lesson is don't ever underestimate a tree sapling.

I don't know how Gem does it... I've been watching her since she had around 500k subscribers and being a new university student, I've had to really focus on everything but myself for a solid four months now. Gem's cuteness, Positivity and love for EVERYTHING is keeping me sane during this lockdown.

Here's a pretty good strategy: Since you have access to iron, make a hopper and a chest, go under the one block, and hook it up so that the drops always go in the chest. Then, you can collect EVERYTHING without worrying about despawning, falling gravel, and such (until the chest fills, but worry about that later and just pick up your supplies periodically).

8:15 Tip: With 1 coal (+3 sticks and 3 logs), you can make a campfire! Not only is it a great building block and light source, you can also cook 4 food items with it at the same time, and the fuel never runs out! Campfires are probably the best early game furnace/smoker if you don’t have a lot of resources! ...even though you do have basically an infinite food source via the mooshrooms and mushroom soup and a furnace AND trees for infinite fuel... but still something to consider!..

Loved this episode! You said something about having different shapes right? What about making layers going up. Like a crescent shaped island with multiple layers for growing trees? Or having two main Squares and the top for chests and the bottoms for the fortress? A water elevator could be a cool way to transport as well!

Super cool to see this as I wasn't around for the original one block series, I do have a recommendation though, if you place slabs on the lower half of a block they can't spawn mobs, so it will be a bit safer and less consuming for torches

that's a lucky start, getting two of EACH animal. in the earlier versions i played you didn't always get that. [also small note, to anyone watching. ice blocks must have a block UNDER them. otherwise you get NOTHING. [learned THAT the hard way.]

This is the only gameplay of one block where the bunnies survived until the end of the episode I already love this series

I was just watching Gem's old Skyblock series last week, and the sequence of events is almost exactly the same this time. Including but not limited to, the awfully narrow path to the animal pen, too many of the same mobs spawning, fencegated centre block, and Gem looking at the camera at a crooked angle.

Tip: put fences around the block so the mobs cant get through :).
