I couldn't get it to work and gave up in frustration. Came back the next day with a litematica from the WD and found 1 temporary block on the honey tower left over from the build. Once I took that out it worked immediately. I saw all the comments from people who are having problems, and you've been all over it trying to help people out. Thanks for all the info. The output of this farm is truly next level.
I think I found a fix. I replaced the glass floor with a shifting floor design (like in ianxofour's raid farm). This pretty much garanties that he mobs will take falldamage since they can't fall directly trough the floor. You only need a couple more materials.
On my little brother's Aternos server, there was a lag issue, and I haven't been able to get it to work since I built it. Just today, I found out that you can also delay your attack speed without interfering with the farm. I set mine to 50 ticks and played around with the repeaters, and I got it to work perfectly. It will probably affect the rates a bit, but if you can't seem to get it to work, this might work for you. Now, just build a better storage system because trust me, you will need it!
Thanks, Chapman, what an awesome farm! Also one of the best tutorials I've watched, the block number thing really helped. It's my first raid farm so it took some time to build, but I really wanted to build one before it gets broken. It didn't spawn raids right away but then I adjusted the repeater timing and also figured I had honey placed a bit wrong at the bottom. Now it works like a charm! I still have to build a storage system, but again, thank you so much!
Hey chapman please see this. I had to build a vex suppressor right next to the kill chamber to prevent vex, I think most people would struggle with this as I certainly did, please make a video of how to do this mainly the placement. Thanks
It's not the timings of the farm itself that were causing vex to spawn in on my server. The issue was the piston pushers where the drop chute transitions from 5x1 to 3x1. The zero tick piston was catching mobs and they would pile up on top of the moving piston. Solution: I moved the observer clock back placing a repeater on 3 ticks. After resetting the farm to its original timings and adding in a 3 tick repeater to the piston pushers it has worked perfectly, even with server lag. Spent several hours playing around with different timings for the farm as well as different arrangements for the piston pushers before a builder on the server said "What are those pistons that are always running and why are they running so fast?" Godamnit, I could have just slowed them down and been done troubleshooting 3 hours ago 😂. Leave it to a builder to debug my redstone 😊
Also, I added 1 wide tiltable shulker loaders but set up to run a 2x hopper speed for all the stackables that are not emeralds and 16 Allays feeding 2x shulker loaders for totems and potions with room to add 10 more Allays should the mood take me. I was able to double back over the top of the Allays with the water stream so they have 2 chances to snatch totems. With the rates of this farm its not worth catching every single totem it drops. Could not be happier. Thanks Chapman
Will there be/is there a fix video for the 60k-90k stacking farm? Lot of comments about not getting raids to spawn, and the setup is different. I'll try to apply the principles you adressed in this video, also i built it in a singleplayer world.
I was having an issue with the Vexes spawning as well, and was due to server lag. I tried everything that was in the comments and nothing was working. I set my autoclicker to 50 ticks, and put a beacon with strength II to see if maybe if would kill the witches who would throw a splash potion of healing in one swing. This honestly worked for me, I also added regen to the beacon incase vexes would spawn I wanted to see if I would be able to keep myself alive enough to completely go afk. I really suggest adding a beacon, or at least give it a try!
set it to a lower tick rate because the server is definitely not 50 ticks so make it like 20 ticks because it was probably swinging every 3 seconds instead of 1
@@lightning0plays I had it set to 20 ticks and the vexes were still able to spawn, i set it to 50 ticks because someone had suggested to & added a beacon and everything works fine now so 🤷🏼♂️
so I had a problem with the guys getting stuck in the pistons and the solution to my problem was moving them back a block and then putting glass in front of the piston (also instead of normal pistons I made them sticky pistons) and it worked! I also put glass on the observers and pistons as well
I tried that but didn't work for me. I also tried slabs, fence gates, trap doors, before finally adding a repeater between the observer clock and the pistons set to 3 ticks. Haven't had a single vex spawn since
Does anyone else have problems with a few ravagers not dying at the top? They get stuck inside the glass blocks and for some reason the lava doesn't kill them.
So i had an issue where the lower pistons would be open more time allowing the mobs to fall into water. Seems like a server side error because all the repeaters and redstone were identical as in the video. Fixed it by adding a solid signal to pulse converter instead of the 3 consecutive repeaters
A repeater is already 1 redstone tick, so you'll want to click it twice, that will give you 3 redstone tick delay slowing the pistons Dow enough to knock to mobs off of them. I had this exact problem and spent several hours banging my head against a keyboard before finally figuring it out
Did the delays on the bottom pistons and no vex spawns for about 5 ish min then they all swoop at me. Maybe building a vex killer could be plausible? Any tips?
I adjusted all the settings and when the raid bar disappears theres no pillagers coming down at all and I followed litematica tried to world edit the farm into my world and it wont work I checked to see if raids world in my world they do so idek what im missing also Im running this off my pc so I shouldnt be dealing with any server issues/ Update I realized that the villagers and the spawning platform needs to be in the same chunk so now it works
does it work on a paper/bukkit server? i spent a day building this and it didnt work when i finished it. The raid bar goes up when i stand on the place but when the bar is fully loaded it goes away and nothing happens. does someone have a solution to this?
Hello @Chapman_Farms I have a problem! When i start the raid there is just one raid spawning and when it's at the last wave it ends and just say ''raid victory''. Please help me. I'll do anything!!
So im playing on 1.19.4, and i built it, and the raid doesn't even spawn. The bar will show up and go up, but the raid never spawns, tried to use the download world and it still didn't work
I don't know what I did wrong but my raids are just not spawning. I made ianxofour's raid farm and its works like a dream but it didn't give me that much redstone that's why I built chapman's raid farm but it doesn't even spawn raids. Pls help
Maybe the villager isn't rendered in? A lot of these farms recommend turning down the render distance, depending on which villager starts the raid, this might cause issues
On singeplayer i works profectely but on server Spigot the raid don’t stacking,i have try to move the villager in the same chunks i works but raid dont stacking😢 sorry for my english 😅😅
hey bro so sometimes raid starts 1-2 times but then just stops or the pistons in the spawning area wont move anymore? please help, alr tried to change timings on spawn platform and at lower pistons
The issue you have is yoiu need to lower your render distance down to 10 chunks and set your entity spawn distance down to 100% and that should fix your problem
@@lightning0plays yes, I waited, and waited, but the pillager aren't spawning, but now, I need to get bad omen, wait the bar full or half to start swinging?
Chapman bro the problem is still there even after i adjusted the repeaters.........the main issue is lag, which is not gonna stop because you made a monster farm, I just came to know the fix.........if you don't care about the look of the farm then place boats arround you as much as possible, i recomend 25 to 30, still one vex remains but you will barely get any damage, so now my farm is running smooth...........let me know if this works
The raid bar doesn't disappear for me. I followed the litematica and there's no wrong in the placement. And because it doesn't disappear i Only get to play one raid until it says ''raid victory'' :( Someone please tell me how to fix @chapman_farms
