Nothing surprises me anymore. They canceled Quackity because he spoke his native language and they thought he was provoking people who speak Spanish. What's wrong with this world
you are exaggerating a lot. there were a few people on twt that tried to cancel him, everyone thought it was fucking stupid tho especially quackitys fans or "stans". a few idiots tweeting doesnt mean he was cancelled :)
I think we should all cancel Charlie, this guy is so funny I laughed at 3AM and woke up my family and got scolded. Don't you understand the feeling? Unbelievable.
“He’s a minecraft player. He doesn’t have to go with your exact ideals with how the world should be.” And he’s also a minor. He can’t vote. He can’t drink. He JUST got his license. It’s absolutely insane that people would pile their political views and start harassing a CHILD! It’s actually scary how obsessive people can be over things. Especially things that involve minors.
don't have what to expect from neckbeards and overall idiots who think they are in the right with anything and everything, cannot accept not every person shares their ideals, cant take rejection or a loss. Twitter has been the hobbit hole for these goblins to hide in and multiply like cockroaches
@@THECONTINENTALMANwhat i meant by that was that he just gained the ability to drink and people dog pile on him like he’s some 50 yr old with a lot of experience.
Bro I saw your pfp and name and I was like “ah he probably has like 300 subs and a twitch with 4 followers” and was about to go off a little, but holy shit sir congrats :)))
@@drinkwater9904 can you give me meaningful commentary from the perspective or point of view of someone with hundreds of thousands of subscribers and their issues, (namely what seems to be the anger of the person we’re talking about) I was ready to “go off” on him because it’s cringe and if we let anyone run around saying anything we want we might have a Twitter 2
They hate Jschlatt because they can't cancel him. He just doesn't give a shit. They have zero influence and power over him and that infuriates them. I think it's because Dream acknowledges them a LOT and like 90% of the Jschlatt haters are Dream stans so they're not used to being ignored.
Minecraft Twitter recently cancelled Minecraft Twitter because animator SAD-ist posted about the Independence Day of their country and Minecraft Stans thought it was a flag from the Dream SMP and that some of the user's writing was "Enderman Language"
I feel bad for Tommy. He tries so hard to educate himself to be more mature because people are expecting him to have the knowledge and wisdom of like a 26 year old and he's only 17. I think he's doing a good job with the situation he's been given time and time again. I hope this video gets popular enough so hopefully at least some of those people on Twitter realise what they've been doing is wrong
That’s like asking a baby what the f*ck does 10463 divided by 953 minus 34 times 68 equals to, DO THEY THINK THE CHILD WOULD ANSWER THE CORRECT ANSWER, *AND IF THEY FAIL YOU MOCK THEM UNTIL THEY GO TO THERAPY AND MOCK THEM FOR THAT AS WELL?* My goodness this community is lower than hell itself
I like how Jshalatt has been label problematic for pretty much being a normal dude. He doesn't censor himself which isn't typical of a content creator and he has a pretty dark sense of humor so even if he doesn't directly comment on anything people label him problematic for having an opinion.
It's not even "for having an opinion" (because at least that would be understandable, some opinions are hot trash and you deserve the consequences that come to you), from what I've seen he doesn't even express any opinions on sensitive topics. He simply makes jokes, no matter the topic, and he is not trying to express any opinion in particular with those jokes. But these terminally online kids can not comprehend the idea that making jokes about X doesn't mean you hate X, or just because you mention Y doesn't mean you endorse Y.
Main reason I enjoy schlatt is his bluntness and his unfiltered jokes. He’s doesn’t care about what people think he’s just being himself and it makes him seem more real, like a real person. Cause he might say something I’m like yo that’s crazy. It’s unnerving if the creator is “perfect”.
@@juliee593 yeah in his interview with anthony its made rather clear that jschlatt is just an act and that the actual person is nothing like this , so he doesnt ever give his takes on sensitive stuff bcs whatever jschlatt the character would say isnt aligned with his actual opinion
Back a long time ago, when Captain Kirk was killed in one of the movies. People sent death threats and assaulted the actor that played the villain that killed Kirk.
RIP Josh Brolin Took me 4 times of watching Deadpool 2 to realize he was Cable😂😂 Okay but back on topic yeah it's so fucking stupid like ????????? It's a MOVIE ???????? they are literally just doing their jobs. people need to understand that.
Schlatt and Technoblade are my favourite characters in the SMP, they doesn’t take anything seriously like some of the others do and constantly break the fourth wall which is absolutely hysterical LOL
"I just learnt about politics today and i don't get enough attention at home, I'm not old enough to vote but I want to show how mature I am! Fuck you tommy, how dare you not share your political opinions, I have some therefore I am more important than you and you don't deserve to be where you are today." - Random 13 year old online
When the words "transphobe," "homophobe," "racist," and so many more are just thrown out for the most minuit things, they quickly loose all actual meaning and impact, because people struggle to differentiate between the genuinely terrible people out there, and those who simply got name called for no reason other than spite.
Yeah even the minecrafters that turned out to be shitty people later on were making there fans behave back in the day. i remember skydoesminecraft back in the day makeing a video that was essentially giving his viewers a talking to because they were going into other youtubers comments and just make a bunch of skydoesminecraft jokes and giving them shit for calling gold gold instead of better and was basically like "that's rude as fuck these guys are making videos and content for you. i appreciate your support but they deserve respect too" Seems like most nowadays its more common to encourage the bad behavior.
@@zenkrome absolutely, things weren’t perfect before, but they aren’t better now, and creators need to take responsibility for their audience, now it’s mostly people looking for fame and not just uploading for fun
At this point, if you *choose* to describe yourself as a “Stan” rather than just a fan (which is already short for “fanatic”) then I’m just gonna immediately distance myself from you
As soon as you apologise for something you don't need to, the obsessive stans win and will only hold you accountable for more and more things in future. They can't even come close to cancelling jschlatt because he has just simply never acknowledged them.
God, I surfed through twitter for an hour and regret it deeply. The things I saw made me so frustrated and embedded themselves so deeply into my mind that I still think about them every time I take a shower.
I think everyone should be more politically active. Its a huge part of government for both countries and it's good to be educated on the issues you vote for. However, the politically active they want is constant political takes. He has less than a year until he's a legal adult. Let the guy enjoy these years.
I once found a comment of somebody asking "Please be responsible with your videos and post a trigger for Schl*tt" ... ... ... The Schlatt in the video, with no voice, was pixel art of him. And seeing the comment made me reevaluate my 0.00000000000001% of faith left in humanity.
Tommy is one of my favorite youtubers. His humor is very witty, dry and snappy, all on account of his great personality. But- the community, the absolute cesspool and disgusting community that the MCYT content creators are fostering is absolutely vile. Now, I don’t mean all of them, some of the creators (and fans) are pretty wholesome and non-toxic. But those cases are few are far between. I would never touch twitter with a thousand-foot pole if some of my favorite artist friends weren’t on there. I literally instinctively call it “Scary Bird App.”
They hate jschlatt because they can't control him, they try to cancel him and he just doesn't care, he does what he wants and shits on the stans and they get upset bescause you can't cancel a person who doesn't care about being canceled
At this point it's not unintentional. These fuckers supported the babysitting on a multi aged social media the second they stopped giving a shit about their RU-vid kids app.
I have never understood the concept of 'stans' or the obsessive culture surrounding celebrities/ content creators... Y'all, they're all human. They want privacy, and have emotions just like us. Whatever these stans do effects them directly. Just like us, they make mistakes, let alone a 17 year old kid. Hell, I'm 17 and can see past all this shit. It's so toxic and sad. My heart goes out to Tommy even though I'm a year late and don't watch him 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Retarted kids looking for a community so they join a cult and people that aren't in the cult are in a whole different reality and are okay to bully them and abuse them.
9:03 I got something similar but it was that the person was glad I was sexually abused because I was "homophobic, racist, etc" all because I misunderstood something and called my best friends out for bullying me and blaming me to be "abelist" when I have autism and I don't. I am disappointed in my generation. Let the hunger games begin
@@daddylonglegs3420 yes, i know- i meant that lots of twitter users want people to comment on US politics- that's my bad for not making that clear in the comment, i'll edit that
Shlatt did nothing people just don’t like his dark humor, he has a second channel where he talks to people, and he’s generally a good guy so his fans know for a fact that the Jashlatt that makes dark jokes is a character. He’s now problematic I don’t get why people keep trying to cancel him.
they try to cancel him cus they desperately want someone to hate on for attention it seems. no one actually cares about the dark humor they just want to hate someone and blame them for their problems.
The bit about raising a generation reminds me of growing up with Dantdm and how fun and cool he was. You just light harted fun, no over the top swearing or anything, just fun entertaining mod reviews and adventures, and it's sad because the way everything online has gone there will never be another generation like that
I have searched through almost all youtubers and Charlie, you are one of the few that has opinions i can agree with, you see both sides, and choose the most logical one.
My favorite part of the JSchlatt hate is the fact that the man literally does not give a shit. Kids try to cancel him and he's just like "go suck a fuckin egg, I'll be playing some Jackbox"
@@NebulatheZorua have you ever seen parliament in action? I'm canadian and the house of commons goes insane... you should watch some debates it's very entertaining
As someone who really enjoys mcyt content, I definitely would say it's one of the most toxic fandoms on the internet, ESPECIALLY twitter. It has gotten a lot better (outside of twitter) recently, but people do still worship creators and get way too into their lives. It will always weird me out when people will borderline stalk their favorite creators, they have every right to privacy that you do.
I'm a 23 year old american and my thoughts consist of "i kinda want chinese food tonight" and "i hate my job". I'm pretty sure the average american doesn't wanna hate their life even more by mentioning anything related to politics
There aren’t many politically-active 17-year-olds in American politics. They exist, but they’re rare. There aren’t many politically-active British people in American politics. They exist, but they’re rare. For people to shame a 17-year-old British kid for not being politically active is absolutely crazy.
People will really say shit like: “This person doesn’t deserve therapy, he doesn’t face any kind of oppression” then wonder why more men don’t go to therapy when they’re struggling.
It took me over a year to finally convince my ex/FWB to go to therapy for his depression. People who shit on those in therapy deserve to get stomped by sharpened cleats.
One of my friends told me he was called a racist for being white and that his opinion doesn't matter because he's a guy, I wanna slice open the stomach of those type of people
I hate how twitter uses "racist" "homophobe" "transphobe" and among other horrid words to label content creators. What they're doing is basically just downplaying those words from actual genuine hatred of a certain group, to just "i hate you"
“Yo I know how dull and bummed out you are about this whole schtick, but you should be into politics, even if it is a very toxic and divisive place to be in on the internet” - Basically them
Well I remember that Charlie has like 15 videos asking his fanbase to stop harassing people that he was making fun of. I think toxicity is just human nature and just bares its fangs online
@@chinsaw2727 yes, but MCYT is magnitudes worse than the example you gave. They harassed Geosquare, a Speedrun.com mod that was literally just telling the truth, into a suicidal depression because of it. And that’s a tame example. Online fanbases are always bad, but MCYT is truly something else

Sans homie it's a meme to take absurd quotes and make it seem like someone famous said it. Some common examples would be people using Sun Tzu and making him quote absurd things. I think the person was aware of the original commentator but is only following the meme format.
Actually a fish can drown if it enters waters that are two high or low in salinity, like how there’s fresh water fish and salt water fish. If you put a fresh water fish in the ocean, it will most likely drown.

I wonder how we went from playing with bakugans, pokemon, watching spongebob on the telly, and playing tag. To sitting in our homes, bullying people because they dont like it, and having more genders than the atoms in the universe.
Everyday I keep thinking "I've seen so much, there can't be much worse out there." And every single time Twitter somehow proves me wrong. I don't understand how people can be so angry, harassing a 17-year-old over something as simple as a friendship.
Schlatt says what he wants to say. See that’s the thing, is he doing anything? No. Is he hurting anyone? No. Stans have made him look like the worst person in the world. And it’s all because of a few jokes.
the thing i like about charlie is that when he gives an opinion on things, he covers every single related topic as logically as possible to make sure that there aren’t any holes in his statement

I watched all of Dream’s interesting videos but I still have no idea how somebody can be so obsessed with him or rather anyone who makes minecraft content like him.
schlatt basically took all names that included "notfound", "innit" and so on and banned them from his chat (and probably some other stuff) because like normal human being, he also despises minecraft stans
4:46 ...He did do that in 1999 though... I was one of the few survivors. I swore vengance that day. 2025, May 19th. Watch out Schlatt. Real talk though, the reason Twitter, now X, hates The Big Man, is because he doesn't give a shit. His jokes extent to everything, and you know how Twitter magnifies every small inconvenience. They've tried to cancel him 100s of times, but he sees this, and purposely does what's pissing Twitter off, pissing them off even more, increasing J's own popularity, and the cancellation always failing. Jschlatt, by the way, is a very good person at heart, and he's like slightly a more mature version of Tom, in a way. Tommy was heavily HEAVILY inspired by Schlatt. Still is.
A big problem is that literal children dont acknowledge the fact that theyre emotionally immature even when its completely normal to be immature as a child. They dont realize they still got some growing to do
They are only pressuring him to be politically active because they await him to share their exact opinions. If he thought elsewise then they would have a mental breakdown.
you compete with 6 other contestants in a gameshow to earn the most "oppressed points", winner gets therapy while the others have to sit down and shut up because their problems aren't as important
And seriously it’s annoying, cause I assume plenty of people in therapy question wether they “deserve” it or if “they’re just making up their problems”. It’s terrible people are saying this, I really hope he can work through this in therapy.
These are the same people who would say things such as if you dont phisically harm yourself you are not depressed, or have a mental disorder and you dont deserve therapy, even tho therapy isnt something you need to earn.
@@rhuskymikhaelorcullo9961 well that was just a joke, and they shouldn’t cancel him for that. Even though, Dream stans have repeatedly cancel people for making jokes.
They hate Schlatt because he's immune to criticism. If he gets cancelled he just does nothing and keeps going without a single bit of trouble outside of children on Twitter crying about his edgy humor.
7:24 Being involved in politics is literally the worst thing you can do as a content creator or really if you have any following for anything, no matter which sides you pick half the audience is going to hate you, no RU-vidr should be politically active if they want to keep a stable career unless their entire channel is based around politics and have always been open to which side they prefer.
Can’t spend time with real people, so they resort to online toxicity and hate just to feel something. It’s no coincidence these children made their twitter and RU-vid over quarantine. I know I made my account over quarantine but I wanted to wait until I was mature enough
Just like tossing kinder eggs into your mouth with the plastic! people are still gonna find ways to choke themselves even after the packaging is banned.
I created my twitter account 4 years ago, July 15th 2020, I deleted my twitter account almost immediately due to the recommended posts that twitter put on my screen when I was 14 years old. I saw 2 things that I will forever disagree with, the first of those things was someone posting about how Adolf (the German leader I'm not saying his last name cus ion wanna be banned) was "not a bad person" and saying shit like "religious people need to be culled" (these are direct quotes). The second (and far worse) thing I saw on that app was a post from an account with over 20k followers, posting animated child p*rn. The fact that anyone can get away with shit like that on an app with an age limit of 13+ is fucking disturbing and I will never use it again in my life
