Dave in the beginning: "Hey, internet arguments are pointless and this guy liking a song doesn't hurt you, can we please stop?" Dave in the end: "hElLO mY liTTlE mAgGoT"
Dave has descended into complete madness on the walls of his torn-up bedroom you see two names etched in bold red letters LITTLE WASP and LITTLE MAGGOT with many sentences scribbled next to their names every waking moment dave spends computing new responses to arumaru and MrHater and waiting for a reply, pinned to the wall he has a picture of a wasp and a maggot with multiple holes and cuts where Dave has either stabbed or sliced them with a knife. Dave hasn't seen daylight in 4 months he is vitamin D deficient but he doesn't care he only has one purpose now......SQUASH THE MAGGOT AND HUNT THE WASP
@@hellojello7545 on the internet people are just looking to be mad or to start trouble. and it's literally everywhere, songs, commentary videos, parodies, the news, even 9/11 footage. weird world.
You hit the nail 100% on the head with those three. Especially Dave and Mr. Hater, the latter is like a dark reflection of the former, just like 4chan is to Reddit. Also there's Lunar - he's Tumblr :>
exactly. not only that but his fetish for calling people “maggots” and “wasps” is honestly unnerving to dave and i was honestly rooting for mr. hater to stoop down his ego, unfortunately both of them r actual incels
Waffleman Official I feel as if the unstoppable force is dave and aramaru is the immovable force since throughout the whole thing his opinion barely budges while Dave keeps on going, pushing the argument.
Aramaru was funny asf after a while tbh. Smth about the way he probably just took like 10 seconds every time to write some stupid insult, only for Dave to apparently become upset irl with every reply. Sometimes even months later
yeah really only the people with videos figured this out. their viewership and money access has only skyrocketed. i do appreciate Critikal helping a dude out like that, even at the expense of some dipshits screaming at each other
luna1314: the plot dave mathew: the hero with god complex mr hater: a parallel version of dave brooklyn green: everyone's favorite character Aramaru: the villian metal mario: filler character yoshi705: the conclusion this wholes story was a roller coaster and i honestly think someone needs to make it a anime....
I feel like dave is slowly going insane the further we go into this argument, especially when he started laughing out of nowhere. Also, for some reason, reading this argument was unironically, quite pleasant to me. It felt like i was watching an actual movie, with a plot and characters that develops more and more. And the ending to this comment section felt so poetic. After so much time, Arumaru finally returns, and it just ends there... I must say, this indeed might just be, one of the greatest story ever told.
My theory, and I'm kinda surprised no one has thought of this, is that Dave got tired of arguing with Aramaru, since he never engaged with Dave in a real argument and instead decided to be a gigantic asshole (which to be fair makes Aramaru entertaining despite his doucheyness), and used a second account he named "Mr. Hater" to create an actual "equal" to argue with. The way Mr. Hater talks (being very similar to the way Dave talks), him being called Mr. Hater in the first place, it really feels like it's possible that Mr. Hater is Dave. Which makes this even more hilariously sad, and makes Dave seem more narcissistic and pathetic then he already is and just adds so many layers to this onion. Just my headcanon, makes this thread 10x more entertaining thinking that Dave just starts arguing with himself.
I always love to come back to this video every now and then, and the fact a few of the top comments are only a few months old just goes to show I’m not the only one
I love how internet arguments are just like D&D, everyone pretending to be some medieval, fearless hero/villain, but it’s like five dudes in a basement just yelling at each other.
@RajunCajun34 Good point but Bruh you gon be amure2.0 if you dont edit dat commet 😂 youtube now bans you if you say a cuss word🤦🏾♂️ RU-vid went soft on m😭
The funniest part to me is that you can see there’s 500 replies. RU-vid doesn’t allow more than that on a comment. They absolutely would have gone longer if they could, RU-vid just stopped them
@@krasistefanovlol They increased it to 750. This just makes it more sadder that the video got deleted, since we could have visited it if it existed today.
It would be like that video where Charlie and Kaya act out the messages of the guy telling some underaged girl he will kill himself if she doesn't send nudes.
“Unironically” Well you’ve got another thing coming, my little wasp, I suggest you apologize and we end it here, or we go on forever. Either way, it’s a win, win.
Can you imagine them one day finding out each other's identities, knowing that they must now do battle again, this time to the death? So much sequel potential here
Honestly, I was just waiting for MrHater to push for the apology and then Dave Mathew answering with "Make me", which would've resulted in MrHater grabbing Dave and forcibly and pulling his clothes off and fucking him raw, Dave resisting at first out of shame and surprise, but then being so aroused he just goes with it. I feel like it would've ended with them falling in love and then adopting Aramaru as their angry little child.
Arumaru was a villain. Dave Matthew was a hero who slowly became a villain. Mr.Hater is an anti-hero. And lunar is the only one smart enough to stop replying.
@@GippyHappy lol yeah, they all are. Including Arumaru. This argument would've been tame and resolved quickly but Dave, Arumaru, and Mr. Hater are the worst possible combination of people for this lol
I love how it started with aramaru saying the song was shit, and ended with aramaru saying the song was shit, it's really a beautiful metaphor for internet arguments
Because you're like 9 you havent seen anime that died and resurrected to become a villain no 9 yrolds like you cant watch it remember naruto yeah 9 yrolds like you cant watch it
There are plenty of internet arguments that are toxic and hateful, and plenty that reach 500 replies… but this one is still special to me because of how… wholesome, it feels? Obviously they hate each other and some mean words are extended, but there’s just something so simple about it. I love this video.
dave just had serious character development. he went from being the big good guy protagonist and he then become the most moustache-twirling cartoon disney villains throughout this entire threat. amazing
@@ankitsaha9024 nah. He disguised himself as someone who was just there to say there’s nothing wrong with having an opinion but he just got worse and worse
@@DylanTex Dave advocated that there's nothing wrong in having an opinion, but he himself thrashed Aramaru for having an opinion that the song sucks. Dave contradicted himself right in the very beginning.
Yup. The only way to win the game is to not play. Unless you’re an absolute sociopath yourself and you can milk profit from the Narcissist. You won’t win an argument, but you might just have him sign his house over to you thinking he defeated you.
Cats You could also piss them off by saying annoying stuff to the asshole, and they’ll keep giving hate and death threats to you whilst you don’t care lol. Annoying the pricks are another way to break their mentality
This is a wild thread, and I'm upset that Nintendo took down the video where this thread came from... that's HISTORY, Nintendo. This is more than your obsession with keeping your OSTs away from the public lol
Ironically, that term was actually used in a lot of stuff in the Fanbase back then, (such as a Subreddit, Wiki and Discord Servers being named that) so you're spot on!
Actually, that's the case for every single opinionated argument ever had. Religious, political, other, doesn't matter. If you come into an argument expecting to change someone else's opinion, as a missionary who's convinced he's right, then you cannot be swayed by facts. This makes sense from an evolutionary standpoint, as if something is perceived as true and you're still alive, then it most likely was true. But it is very, very bad for arguing. It's also where things like anxiety, paranoia and the various phobias originate from - a man who fears everything will survive for much longer in the wild than one who fears nothing
It depicts a hero's descent into immorality as soon as he opposes the corrupt world. He thought he was fighting the corruption off, but that was all a facade; he slowly became what he opposed, the scent of corruption spreading within his soul.
Sutton Smith I just want to say that you’re a jerk for commenting something controversial just for likes. I’m disgusted in this behaviour and i’m genuinely shocked in how stupidly idiotic people are if they think this comment is actually something hateful
Im so happy this came up in my recommendation for 19:40 alone, this sounds so brilliantly like an anime villain the laughing, the pointing out hypocrisies like an antagonist trying to convince another character they're just the same. By god this is beautiful.
@@zolo7111 how about we agree that you are a jerk. People can have different sense of humor and even if you dont approve of other people's sense of humor, this is the internet and none cares about your opinion
RagingGiraffe why are you so mad? He’s just saying that it was his favorite part, he can have an opinion and if it bothers you, well... that’s your business KID
RagingGiraffe how about we agree that you’re a jerk? Everyone can have their own opinion And that it is the internet so no one cares about your opinion to begin with.
Dave could’ve stopped after Arumaru stopped and be remembered as the “winner of the argument” but its like that quote “you either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain”
There's a couple dramatic reading series for famous internet comment threads, I think the best one is: Flame War Theater - "Full Body Workout Every Other Day?" Where a bunch of body builders argue over how we measure time itself.
