Mini Bluetooth speaker with great sound, features & price - still a top travel & home accessory!? 

Yeah, if I’m just listening to speech radio tbh my phone’s in-built speaker is just fine but definitely not good enough for music, but I got myself down the rabbit hole searching for this-&-that gadget when, as you say, your phone and a decent speaker is usually all you’ll need, even when travelling nowadays as there’s fewer and fewer places without WiFi nowadays. This had made me rediscover my love for this little Soundcore mini, though - even 5 years on I still rate this little speaker. I haven’t tried the jbl go 3 - is it good sound on that one?

@@accoutrements4469 The sound is probably really good but I have a problem in the I can't hear anything over about 8 kilohertz so I always look for a device that is more toppy than other people might find acceptable. Booming base doesn't interest me.

Ah that makes sense then. I like a balanced sound when listening to music - not ‘booming’ bass, but natural and warm sounding. Difficult anyway on speakers this small!
