Hi. I have did the same process. But after i have finish the car show there is no key in the car. But the key is locking the doors ! But the wont start and no key logo showed up. Any advice?
you have sliced the immob chip on the board. it's a goner..you need a new key to be programmed now $$$. There's a risk when you introduce a knife to cut the shell. bmw wants more money for a new fob, not repair the shell.
This video is a lie. After the ring is pried off it is obvious that the key has already been opened. Trust me, I do MINI key repair on the side, you can't slice these fobs open like you are cutting warm butter. Also if you take that type of blade to the edge of this type of key you will slice open your fingers and cut off switches and other components off of the circuit board. Follow these directions at your own risk.
@@UNPhantom93 Go in gently from the back where the pull out key goes in. Use a small flat blade screwdriver (Xcelite "Greenie" works great for this) and go around the key along the seam, not perpendicular to it; in other words, don't jab things into the key.
i second that. these are not meant to be repaired. bmw wants you to get a new fob $$$. dont try this if you only have 1 key in hand. chances of cutting internal circuity and transponder chip is high. be warned.
Great video, however, you made get to the place to purchase the product too difficult...sorry, but too much nonsense. You need to just send me to the website., not take me to adds.
Horrible music! Keep it quiet. Silence is golden. You are forcing open the sections and damaging the key fob. You don't even know how to remove the key, just using force. Press the button to get the key out.
@@newcarkeysworld No, you are purporting to be experts by advising people on what should be the best practice, so go away, take the positive approach and do a new video properly and, yes, - without the cr*p music.
