Australia a batting is the batting line up you knows but Australia batting was also banger with mark Waugh , Steve Waugh Micheal slater they're massive name back then
I remember the Australian team stealing Paul Riffel off the ausA side in the finals and making him 12th man, he was in the bowling form of his life, they didn't want to get embarrassed, cricket deserved better then that
@@alexjones7043 nothing to do with nsw at the time, was more Aus didn’t want to get embarrassed so they took out the threat and made him 12th for the Aus side
How's that for a batting lineup for Australia A? Geee wizzers we had batting depth back then. Pretty much any country around the world these days (including Australia) would kill for a batting side like that. Matthew Hayden Greg Blewett Damien Martyn Michael Bevan Justin Langer Ricky Ponting Good grief :O
Australian cricket is at a different level. Large grounds providing ample opportunities for both batsmen and bowlers. IPL matches have been reduced to only ball bashing at super small grounds. Cricket was different between 1992 to 2008.
Really Amazing see A Team plays like this no wonder Those days with those cricket Rules No wonder Aussies were Champions side !!!! Cricket at its best !!!!! Quality cricket all around produced a great Bunch of talents for the Aussies !!!!
@@terrorist6928 yes That's true but which ever country tours they get a chance to play vs India A but they haven't played among them barring few games !!
@@nsundu123 Those are practice match not a televised series match Nobody play practice match in serious manner which you could watch on a televised series match I think cricket boards should arranged tri series involving their national team,A team and a strong visiting team
How can this be qualified as the official ICC game ??? Please some one explain ? Because the 3rd team in this tournament was England or Westindies as far as I remember
It was a quadrangle series in this season with Aus A as the fourth team. Other two teams were England and Zimbabwe. Matches where Aus A played were not considered as ODIs, just List A matches.
Yet Australia A was still good enough to beat England and Zimbabwe to reach the final. I’m not surprised though. Look at the future legends of Australian cricket in that A team. Batting legends anyway.
