Hello , i have one since he was a baby, he is now 2 years old .He is starting to become paralyzed in his lower limbs. Do you have any idea what is going wrong ?i feed him crickets and mealworms. I think the diet is not good.Do you have any advice ?thank you
FINALLY a great video on these!! Thank you! I don’t have room for a tegu unfortunately and have been out of the hobby for years and looking to get back in. Trying to research them and there is minimal info out there. I know their lower humidity but do have a percentage as a guideline? How do you arrange to get on a wait list? Or do you have any juveniles from last year? Or only your holdbacks for future breeding? Thank you!!
Hi love them. And been looking out for them and missed the reptile show in my area and was gonna buy one. If you sell them can you give me you contact info to buy one or two. Thank you.
Can you keep these together, I have a definitely male and I think it’s a female but the female has just started to bite and hold on to the male and there not a year old so is that a territory thin or a mating thing or any ideas. Cool vid
usually, the male will try to bite and hold onto a female for breeding- I do keep several together without problems. 2 males together is not a good idea, females can also become territorial.
Hi from Spain, they are so easy to sex while young. You just have to look for the right things! Look at the pores between the back legs, they are so so evident when the lizard is juvenile (20cm)
adrian pbarroso I can tell on my p. Gastra But not on these 100% These have always been hard. Same response I have got from other breeders. I’ll inspect this years clutches with a jewelers loop. Thanks for the feedback
No problem! Should be evident enough for not having to use it but I don't know, might be the subespecies... Melanistic Gene is thought to be original from other species of North Africa. European eyed lizard it's other species and here in Spain we think the Melanistic and hets are not "pure" lepidus so could be that hybrid between a small part of pater or tangitanus and the rest lepidus
Sam Richie Yes I usually have a few hundred babies every season. I have one melanistic year old one Available now. Shoot me a message on Instagram @lizard_kings
@@truzilla__ you should put links to your Instagram and any other social media in the video description and in the about section on your channel. It would make it way easier for people to find them without having to ask if they're available!
