Soviet cold war armour is just sexy! I don't want to repeat my opinion on interior over and over again, but nobody can deny that these parts are done in an outstanding way. I agree on the gun barrel. It's quite amazing that MiniArt didn't think of adding a metal gun barrel. I prefer workable suspension and that is no wonder, as you really need that on dios. You estimate nine months of work and that means three years at my speed. Maybe even longer because of a longer stay in a hospital after a nervous breakdown because of the PE. To call this a decent kit is a huge understatement. Thanks for sharing, Mitko. :)
I love the look of these kits, and a full interior too! Insanely cool. They must have at least 10 T-54/55 variants by now. Great review video, very professional. Are you gonna try that camo on the box art hehe?
Quite impressive, but I think that slide molded barrel can be easily made to look good, without the need to get a metal barrel. The minimal mold lines can be easily scratched off, and the connection points are not that bad. An impressive kit that is on my wishlist, thanks for reviewing it!
Forgot to mention thank you very much Sir for this wonderful detailed video , i am literally flattered seeing its interior detail MiniArt has done . I think this the far best T-55 and one of the best armour kit out there . One would take at least a month to build this kit i think and i being a rookie would spend entire winter :P . Hope get it someday :)

I've seen a couple from across the wall, though I think they were T54's since they had machine guns mounted on their turrets. Now... If they would only make magnifying glasses strong enough... intense kit, if that term does even cover the epic content of the box! I really like the Cuban version, they saw some action in Africa against the South African Forces. That would made a wicked dio. the Prague one is also very cool and iconic. Did something similar with a T-34, shown during the East German uprisings, and it was well worth it. As you pointed out, the beholder feels more when it comes to such sceneries.

sadly Indian decals again missing ,, India was the largest operator of these tanks in South Asia with closed to 900 tanks and some examples are still used in training and many hundreds were moved to storage. Don't know why these modelling companies misses India always let it be MIGs or Transport Aircrafts or Armours etc . We Indian modellers face regular hardships with inviability of India decals. I recently made a mig-21FL , had to paint the markings with a brush.
Brilliant review and unboxing, seen this kit yesterday in the Hobby shop. The first thing I noticed was the weight of the box, and was curious what was inside. I will be getting this for sure, thank you for spending the time making this video.
The weld marks are beautiful on this kit and I went and got the panzer 3 mix D/B thats the same! The wood effect on parts is stunning even the bits of wood you screw on the inside of a box unscrew to side and bottom together in real life are on the parts! It's crazy and never going to see them but as he says they should e there! Am I turning into a rivet counter here haha!
I'm watching this in 2020 I just got there new polish t55 with options to do sadams version lol I can't do the cotton wool blown up effect yet though haha
I began laughing with disbelief when you reached the turret section of the instructions. So much so I want one and know where to get it at a discount price. I personally like Czechoslovak camouflage types and not the one included, so it will interesting to find the right one. Thanks Mitko... ummm...
