Thanks for not being one of the click baiting POS's who use subnautica as a tag for views. This was one of the best (actually based on subnautica) pieces I've seen yet.
I remember hearing the roar of one of these for the first time and getting freaked out. Then I saw one and just stared in awe at them. They did an amazing job with that game, and you nailed the Sea Dragon. Absolutely stunning
It's just wtf to see you creating those 3D models. And to paint them so beautifully afterwards. What I love the most about your videos is to watch you work at normal speed, and not a speeded up video like many other artists do. Please keep that, it's relaxing to watch.
It would be so cool hearing the Subnautica music, when you make a Leviathan. That would make the whole process way more epic. Nevertheless, amazing work.😱
@@DobbsyLondon The songs used in Below Zero are literally public domain specifically so people could stream their game without having to turn the sound down (because sound design is a huge part of their games).
Stumbling my way from Thalasso Hobbyer to here, I'm glad to have accidentally found such a hypnotic corner of the internet to chill out and watch with my partner. Love this stuff!
I follow alot of youtubers that do stuff like this. Most are more for the beginner to intermediate skill level. Her skill level is off the charts. Her work is incredible!
@@darkzer0670 Then there are 2 of them. The recent video's I've watched have been a woman. I knew there was a man in the vids as well but haven't seen him for awhile (or I think so at least) my bad, forgot there was 2.
the way you added the slight waves to the water not only added detail to the water itself, but it ALSO caused light to travel through the resin as though it was actually water! very clever!
I’m a little surprised that the hot glue holding the panels/ resin barriers on doesn’t melt with the heat of the resin, what a project! Incredible amount of work!
@@johnvega5321 actually resin is an exothermic reaction, exo meaning "outside" is where heat exits the system, endo meaning "inside" is when heat enters the system
Your videos are the only thing helping my insomnia. Please allow me to explain. I am a social worker in a very emotionally exhausting job, as well as dealing with personal grief. My insomnia has been so bad recently that I’ve had to occupy my brain at all times until I finally passed out, usually with games or social media. I just couldn’t turn my brain off. Then I found your videos. Your talent is unbelievable, and even watching with ear plugs in, my brain just…relaxes. I’m watching someone create amazing pieces of art, and it makes me feel so at peace, knowing there is awesomeness like this out there. That feeling is helping my brain slow down and prepare for sleep. So thank you for sharing the beauty you create with us. It has made a real difference in someone’s life. ❤️
i would never step foot in the ocean again if the model for your sea dragon was the one in the game-- it's so terrifying and those long teeth do so much for the design! excellent job as always
I don't normally comment on any video unless I'm being a complete asshole, because something made me pissy. But oh my fucking god, this is one of (if not the) coolest art projects I've ever seen. You combined so many different art styles and skills to make this badass amalgamation of beauty. Every little detail is absolutely beautiful. It's not perfect, but that's what makes it amazing. Good job to the max. Color me impressed as all hell.
This is my favorite game of all time and I am just blown away by this. I never even had the concept in my head anyone could do something like this. Subed and liked.
The creativity and level of detail is amazing. I love your work and I’m glad I found your channel! Can you make a Tron inspired diorama? I would love to see something like that! Can’t wait to see your future projects!
Your videos are so soothing to watch I love them so much. I don't play the games you often make monster's from, but even still, your work is incredible!
Apparently if you let it sit for a little it de bubbles. I'd liked to have seen the rocks being made, think they must have been cast, from plaster, given how easily it snapped
This is awesome I love how the lava looks! I was just wondering why you added waves at the top when in reality you never see the dragon near the surface, In my time playing subnautica the darn thing only appears in that one cave that's absolutely massive
The PDA says that they will come to the surface to grab reapers and drag them down, though I guess if you're down in the lava caves then you wouldn't ordinarily have waves
I love your master piece 😍 I wish I can do that but sadly I don't have the skills to do it or the money.😞 But your so lucky happy for u.😉👍 And watching your videos awesome and it's enough for me keep of the great work.
@@asmolcade5818 what's so important about that, what I said stays the same, I don't know why are so many people are worried about such thing when the important thing here is his/her work was really cool that's what I said.
Actually fun fact, the devs are usually the ones who request these to be made, check out some other vids where they specifically mention this on the channel, the devs knows their community and surely cares and loves them
Hello! This is so wonderful. I’ve only just started working with resin on my miniatures and am wondering what thickness the Perspex (is it Perspex?) you’re using to form the mould is. Please let me know when you get a chance! Thanks 🤩🥰
The sea dragon was weirdly my least favourite of the bunch their roars were intimidating but something about the lack of alien features in the face just made them less scary for me but you certainly did them justice
Nice work on the 3D modeling! Took me right back to my animation classes and I wish I had kept doing it! But the whole process was mesmerizing. Never seen anything like this but I’m subscribing now
I love it! Do remember next time though that in subnautica the player sees things as if they were bigger than they actually are. This is how sea dragons feel, but sea dragons can eat reaper leviathans whole and this is the same size as a reaper leviathan in comparison to the diver figure.
