You can't ever bore me. I love you. I truly care about your overall wellbeing. You inspire me to better live in frugality, minimalism and gratitude. Thank you for existing. Hugs
I don't know why but this video moved me to tears. The way you speak and are so humble and you only had this small suit case. I wish you all the best. You are such a sweet human. And I am pale as well and always had problems showing my arms, not legs for some reason. Xx
I was also in tears! I know what it is to leave your country and loved ones behind. The secret is not to keep looking back with regret, it is the only way to move forward with your new life. I hope you can open an Etsy shop in future, I would love to buy some of the things you make. 🙏 for you Anna!
Thank you for the company whilst I fold clothes away, it has been nice and relaxing listening to your conversation. It is nice to see someone who has autumn colours for their wardrobe instead of black, stay safe ☺️
Dear lady...it's always so good to see you! Wow...packing everything you'll need into basically one suitcase...woof! You continue to amaze me! You are loved...
Anastasia, you are certainly loved, you are also a remarkable young women full of life and determination, you have much strength too. Stay safe lovely lady, much love to you.x
Dear Ana! So great to see you and that you are safe! I keep praying for you and Wish you all the very best! Yes, you are such a lovely and humble person, lots of Love to you from me in Sweden!
Oh Ana, I can see the sadness in your eyes. I'm so sorry that you are going through all of this right now. You're so strong. I watch your videos and I think about you and what you're going through. I just want to send you my love. And my hope that you and your husband can come together soon and be safe together. ❤️ Also, I do understand about certain clothes making you feel safer. ❤️❤️❤️
As Victor Frankl said “Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms-to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way." My hope is for you to find peace through these troubling times. May your travels be safe, wherever your journey takes you.
Not so sure I agree. In Nazi camps he didn't exactly lounge and philosophise. He scrambled to survive. But when starved, feverish, hallucinative, caged and beaten, how can one ''choose an attitude''???
I found your channel several months ago while I’ve been grieving the recent loss of my husband of 40 years. Your videos have such a calming effect on me. You have such a kind and warm soul! I’ve been thinking of you and hope you are reunited with your husband soon. Stay safe. ❤️
Dear Jeanne, I’m sorry for your loss. This is Brian, Nastya’s husband. What was your husband’s name? 40 years, it’s beautiful to me. People like you and your beloved husband give us a real boost in this situation. Lots of love and peace.
Lovely curation, I can feel how each item brings you comfort. I agree with dresses being super versatile! One of my most loved pieces is a flannel, button down maxi dress, it can be a dress, a robe, nightgown, duster, or light coat.
Hello Ana! Fun video, I too get clothes for practical and comfortable reasons. Occasionally just for fun. You are a beautiful person with so much sense. Hugs from USA. Also thank you for all you do❣️
Hello Ana. Thank you for another video to keep us updated. Well done how you made everything you need for a long time fit in one suitcase. I wish you luck on your further journey, it's always a pleasure to hear from you ❤️😊
I struggle with clothing - keeping, packing, finding the right items. You have given me a new perspective, and I really appreciate it. So good to see you well, Ana. Stay safe, and may you and Brian fly together again very soon. ❤️
You have so much courage to do what you do!!! You blow my mind in every video that you produce! Please be safe and never give up.... EVER! you and your husband will be together soon! I know it in my humble heart.
@@anagoldberg there is no other option for the both of you. Because why? LOVE IS THE DRIVE OF LIFE! you love each other and that ALWAYS is enough. So many people are keeping you both in our thoughts every day for you both to be together. We all know it will be difficult and sometimes almost impossible but do not ever give up hope. Hope and love have moved mountains and sure it can help you too! Stay positive and be clever you can find solutions in the strangest places🤗
Great video as always, Ana. Life can be unpredictable and we can never know when we might end up in a situation where we have to suddenly pack all of our belongings in one suitcase. That's why I think it's important to be happy with less and appreciate what we have. I wish much happiness to you and I hope you get to reunite with your husband very soon.
So true, dear Alina - things can change in a split second. But of course, we're can't be always ready for what's awaiting us... Thank you, my friend. Sending love 🌸
How lovely, Anastasia, that you can fill the air with music wherever you go, with the instrument given by your brother on “Mama’s birthday.” Also, you’re already making a difference in this world. The best is yet to come. Paka-paka for now.
I look forward to your videos. I love my Birkenstock sandals and yours. They are not ugly but simple and can wear with everything but mostly they are comfortable and good on your feet! I hope you get to be with your husband soon what a wonderful reunion when that will be ! Stay safe , I am sending prayers and good vibes your way. Hope to see another video soon, peace and love ❤️ to you Ana
Hi Ana! So great to see a video from you. I think you were wise on the items you kept. I know it must’ve taken a lot of strength to let go of things. Praying that in the near future you can be reunited with your husband, and we can see him in videos with you!! Sending much love from the United States. ♥️
Thank you again for this. Normally this type of content would really fulfill me because for some reason my whole life I try to keep my stuff packed as if I need to gather up every moment and go... Now I see the realness of it, and the struggle and the way your roots are cut. How you try to hold on to your past, what has formed you and what you feel is home. I feel for you and I admire you. Your practical approach and yet true to yourself. You go where it is you can feel free and safe. Keep your eyes open and your feet moving forward. Every step closer to your husband. 💖
You put a lot of thought into your packing. I'm like you in choosing shoes. I love Crocs and Birkenstocks. If my feet aren't comfortable, I'm very cranky. I admire your spirit and modesty. I pray you are well and doing good.
Looks like you're ready to take off at a word's notice. Sometimes these in-between times can be the hardest. Sending you good wishes for a safe journey.
Wonderful video, so carefully devised and put together. I liked all your reasoning, your choices, the music and the flowers and other images in between the different sections: so delicately and elegantly put together! You are truly an artist, Ana. Wishing you all the best. Keep on illuminating your life and the life of all who follow you!
You did a great job and chose what was best for you to bring on your journey. As I watched this I was thinking of your sweet cat and wished so much that you could have her with you. It would take great strength and resolve not to have her. Hope you are as content and peaceful as you can be and take care of yourself. ♥
Hello my friend and beautiful soal. I am in awe, how you fit all of your travel things in just a suitcase, a backpack and 2 totebags. That is amazing. :-) :-) (just a bit of light heartedness here, lol) I learnt how to pack economically since I was a child. We travelled a lot with my parents back in the day and I moved over 20 times in my life as well. I think it is like an art, to pack a certain way which is pragmatical, space saving and economical. I loved it, when you said, that clothes are an extension of our body. They truely are, aren`t they. Remeber the children`s story about "The Emperor`s New Clothes"? :-D :-D I also liked it, when you said, that YOU choose the clothing and not the clothing YOU. This is very wise indeed. It is also very fortunate that we live in a time where we can actually do that. When we go back in history, we were restricted and had to dress in a certain way. Dress codes existed for many many decades. And sometimes those dresscodes were actually useful. In the olden days they showed people in a simple way the ranking of the humans, the wealth and the position. Cothes were an important tool to secure status. We came a long way from where clothes were only forms of protection against the environment. It must be the artist in us, the devine, that let us always play with things, to make something beautiful out of something practical, to enhance it and to make it our very own. It is o.k. to indulge in those things. Of course we can`t take anything with us when we leave this planet again, but while we are here we should enjoy the bounty that God gave us. Creation is full of this bounty, of the extravaganza of nature, the millions of seeds, that produce fruit and plants for everybody. So much so, that there is more than enough for everybody and left over too. Blessings to you and your travels. Now you are a bit like Bilbo Baggins, going on an adventure. :-) Some day you will be telling the tale of it and we, your faithful comrades out there, are with you in spirit and thinking good thoughts, lifting us up high on every level, raising the planets energy. Huggs from Schurwald Forest, Germany.
This video is very thought provoking-I enjoyed it very very much,. thank you again for taking us along on this journey,. Best wishes and God bless you dear Ana💖
Maybe it is an introvert thing. I also love to be covered up, and the feel of linen and wool and cotton (though I too have a pair of yoga pants). I was laughing when you said Birkenstocks might be ugly or cheesy. I have been wearing them since the 1970s. Maybe by now they are cheesy!!
I love to see the color-cohesion in your wardrobe. A true capsule if ever I saw one. Amazing & inspiring. A second thought I had: apart from the temptation of following fashions and trends, and the expectations of others, there is another "person" we might dress & shop for: our fantasy-self. I sometimes feel that's the strongest influence of all, and the hardest one to let go of. What are your thoughts on that? Wishing you luck & strength & love. I think of you often.
I know this comment was addressed to Anna, but I really appreciate the way you put it into words. I dress for my fantasy-self from time to time and it's been something I've been working on since I navigate it as something I'd like ti change.
Hi Ana, I'm still quite new here on your channel. Someone in the comments mentioned your timeless elegance and I can agree. There is something so delightful about your tiny corner here on RU-vid. I can't even explain it yet. Sending you all the best wishes for your future! And thank you for showing us your belongings. You make me think about my life as well. Thank you. ✨
Anna, you remind me of myself long time ago. I grew up in Praque, after college graduation from Charles University I married to American man, mostly I took my important books, didn’t get many clothes because you can get them anywhere. You are very kind person and I wish you all the best and keep us inform. Love from Maui, Hawaii. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🌹♥️
Dear Ana , Thank you for sharing your video, and stay safe on your travels,I enjoyed every bit of your movie and all the choices of your clothes, I learned so much , you have a big RU-vid family who love and care for you ,, Can’t wait for your next update, 🤗❤️ Suexx
Aloha Ana. I want to say I think you are such an awesome person. I too suffer with mental health and watching your last few videos have been very inspiring to me. Right now when life throws me a little hiccup, I just think of you and I'm able to get pass it. I'm with you all the way on this journey. Sending you love and hugs and praying for your safety. 💙
My heart is really feeling what you are going through. I thank you for sharing what you have taken. I sit here, at my desk, surrounded by all my art supplies and I couldn't imagine having to choose what to leave behind. I will be doing some neuroart on your behalf and thinking of you today.
I just came across an old plastic butter tub that my mother packed with old buttons. I looked at a few of the buttons and I actually recognized quite a few of them. :) I'm going through a downsizing too and trying to figure out what to keep and what to give away. I don't think any of your videos are boring. I love listening to you and worry for you and pray that you will arrive safely to your destination soon! 🙂 I just wanted to add that yes, I know that feeling of wanting to be wrapped up. I also stay pretty covered up in summer too. I love wearing baseball hats with a visor. Or wearing a hoodie. ps...I hope someday you go back to making and creating all the lovely things you make. I prefer "handmade" items over mass-produced. You are so creative! ✌️💙🌷🙋
Thanks Ana for this beautiful and meaningful video. I'm so delighted to see you again. You're a precious soul that enlightens our lives. Thanks for being with us.Love and kisses from Barcelona.
So good to see you! We can all benefit by thinking what we would pack into 1-2 bags on the fly! We never know what life will bring us. Stay well friend!
Hi Anna, thank you for your video. FIrstly your hair looks beautiful. I think your clothing collection is very well chosen. I enjoy wearing line, cotton and wool. My grandmother collected vintage buttons, i have an old chocolate box filled with them. I often replace buttons on my shirts with the vintage ones. Your crocheted collars are so beautifully made. I want to try knitting a few soon. Like you I enjoy my scarves and hats, and handmade jewellery. So I see so many similarities which is lovely to know. Im wishing you courage and strength until you see Brian again soon, that will make me so very happy. Maybe when that time comes you can include Brian in one of your videos, that is if he is not too shy. Take care, until next time Gale x
Hi Gale 💖A box with vintage buttons, what a treasure to have! Yes, all the similarities we share, people in this community, bring so much comfort... Thank you for your kindest words, my friend ☘
Dear Ana, you are correct about wool warmth. It is a natural warmth created by our body heat warming the air pockets which are a natural part of the structure of wool fibers. Manmade fibers create an artifical warmth, and I agree with you that it feels quite different. Loved this video. I wish you safety and happiness on every leg of this new journey 💜
Dearest Ana, wonderful to see you. Thank you for modeling for us your wardrobe you are going to take with you. Every piece looks so good on you and each piece goes well with the others. You are stylishly thin and so look great in anything. I have a problem with weight and don’t feel good in anything I wear. Since your ultimate goal is to meet up with your husband, I am detecting some hope and happiness in your lovely face. I pray I am right. Wherever you end up, as long as it is with your loved one, it will be an exciting new beginning for the two of you. When you reach your destination and feel safe, please post a video so your fans will know you are alright. Sending my love and prayers for your journey and may God be with you sweet Anastasia. ❤️
Oh, my dear sweet friend, thank you for your kindness and care 💖If I may say, I think you're beautiful. Our bodies are just bodies just like things are just things. Your soul shines through every word. So I hope you get at least a little bit of all the love i'm sending you. I will do my best to keep posting videos and updates. All the community is a huge support and I'm so grateful.
Ana, you are an absolute delight and wise beyond your years. Regarding clothing comfort and practicality, wool is the BEST, plus it doesn't break down into microplastics. If it was good enough for John Muir in Yosemite, it is good enough for me. I will tell you that I was once on a glacier in Iceland with soaking wet mittens and hat due to weather but was still warm as they were wool. Rooting for you and Brian.
Exactly what I was on the point to say... and best wool material is merinos as it is very very soft and don't need much washing as it does not smell, wool is versatile... warm but also insulating when it's too hot !
Dear Ana, as always - you are an inspiration, thank you so, so much for this video! I love your sense of humor and your courage. For me as an HSP my wristwarmers and legwarmers and something like a scarf are my essentials to feel safe and warm and protected, I wear them 24/7. And for me these items have to be made from wool because of "warm warmth" of course 🥰 And I love the hats you crocheted - did you use cotton yarn? And: did you use a special pattern? Because I would love to crochet something similar ;o) Thank you in advance! Oh and in the evenings I always read "The Moomins" by Tove Jansson to my youngest child and after that he always plays on his Kalimba for me - I love it! Sending you love and power!
I have never been interested in limiting my creative items, although I want to eliminate items I won’t use. I am a textile artist and part of that is choosing my garments each day. I have clothes from many parts of the world, often hand embellished. I also have collected “vintage” items that are the styles I have loved in my 63 year garment history, especially late 1960’s and mid-1980’s. Clothing is an artform and I choose carefully but I have tons of it. My husband is also a Brian. I would definitely give up all my precious embroidered handmade African/Hawaiian/Uzbek clothes for him. I could pass on my Turkish historical socks/knits. And wow! I have helped distribute 3 friends’ items when they moved/died. I dread that someone might need to do that with mine. I appreciate you so much. I don’t go for most minimalist folks’ aesthetics... my biz name is ColorJoy. My basic colors are turquoise/purple and my accent colors are hot pinks and hot greens. Everything goes together and can be combined. I wear dresses and skirts... only leggings for pants. I wear shirts for jackets sometimes, too, over my dresses in summer. Shoes are hard for me, too. I wear girls shoes sometimes. Anything but sandals are black. I can’t imagine fitting all my things in a suitcase and backpack. Still, love is worth big change.
Thank you for sharing with us and I hope you and your husband are reunited very soon. Safe travels, and sending you hugs from the United States. (By the way, I always travel with a small towel as well and I am always thankful to have it.)
Thank You Ana, for this new video! I've been following You for some time now and I am so happy to see you this evening💝 . I can relate so much to things that You share and talk about in your videos. 🌹Although life is "what it is" right now, I wish You Joy and Happiness as well as strength and serenity. Lots of Love and Light. //Nina from Sweden
Thank you so much for being here with me, dear Nina 🌼 Love and light - two most important things... Sending warm hugs all the way to Sweden, my friend.
Hi sweet Ana, thank you so much for your beautiful and touching videos. You are so kind, interesting and thoughtful and your videos warm my heart. Wishing you all good things and safety on your journey. Much love from your sister yet to meet in Detroit (USA).
It is my belief and my wish for you that once you reunite and settle with your husband that a calming peace and warm happiness will come into your life to stay. I'm curious to follow your journey. All the best to you!
As usual your videos have given me much to think about. With the recent death of my husband I am feeling the weight of our combined possessions of many years heavy on my shoulders,
My dear, maybe you don’t Even know it, but you have a special light inside that all people can see looking at you.hope the best for you and your next future…
Dear dear Ana, thank you so much for your lovely video. I enjoyed so much to see and hear you. And I know what you said about clothes being the outer extension of ourselves and also there to protect us. especially hats and scarves. Unfortunatelly I am not good with wearing hats, it looks kind of strange with me, but I keep wearing earmuffs. They shut out wind, cold and noises as well :-). I sometimes like that very much ;-). Please, Ana, keep straight and strong, love will pull you through. Don't let too much worries crush your soul. Peace, love and light for you, Ana.
The way you feel with your accessories is how I feel with my hair, it is waist long and I can wear it up or down depending how I feel but I give God the glory for it!
Awww my sweet friend, yesterday I’m not feeling well. You told me about your new video but I can’t watch yesterday. But I’m watching now. You are so sweet Ana. Like every time I love this video too. Send kisses 😘 and hugs 🤗. From the old lady from Brazil 🇧🇷 living in America 🇺🇸 for 30 years. 🥰🤍🤍💐🌻🌻. Your hair looks great 😊.
I totally agree about the wool. A lot of people seem to think it's always hot in Australia, but I live in a town where we even get the occasional sprinkling of snow. I'm struggling to find a decent woolen jumper and my knitting is terrible, but buying two 100% woolen thermal tops for this winter was the best purchase I've made and I love that they are made in Australia. And I too find it hard to find well fitting shoes (especially boots) and I got so fed up with having to buy poor quality shoes that just before the first lockdown in 2020 I bought myself some leather boots from a horseriding shop. They were cheaper than most ladies leather boots, I wear them all the time and they still look good more than 3 years later. I don't know why but I've noticed a lot of men's clothing is better quality than what I find in the women's section. Like there's one shop where there were men's t-shirts made of Australian cotton, but the women's ones in the same shop weren't. And thick women's socks were polyester rubbish, while there were wool blend socks in the men's section. So I've bought myself a men's t-shirt and socks from the men's section. I don't care what anyone thinks. I'm trying to only buy good quality things that last longer now even if they are not fashionable.
