A boy is being hailed for his quick thinking after he and his brothers were taken on a ride by a carjacker who stole their family's van in Minneapolis.
I'd hardly call that a kidnapping he let the kids go just 1 block down withing walking/running distance of where the car was parked. Sure he is a car thief but not a child kidnapper. Sure charge the guy with grand theft auto, he deserves that. But give him a tiny itsy bitsy amount of credit for realizing his mistake and letting the kids go instead of harming the children any more than the trama of the event. Of course maybe he should have noticed the kids and kept walking.
