As far as guns go, if there were more or less would it be better or worse? I don’t know. I personally don’t use guns or involve myself in crime or live in an area where there is a need to defend myself with a gun. Witness here - I was in this event when this happened just in this area with my family. I heard the gunshots across the street and I was very close to the range of shooting and possibly getting killed by the shooter. I witnessed a man getting shot and dying right infront of my very eyes all the while I was protecting my mom and my grandma behind me

Thank God, I left major city living 7+ years ago. This is insane. Six people shot one police 👮🏻‍♂️ officer dead. This seems to be the norm now across the country specifically enlarged cities 🌆 getting worse and worse every year love living out in the country. My house is on a dirt road, and I don’t have to worry about none of this trash. 🗑️

We have incredible officers in Minneapolis who have been critically underfunded since the George Floyd incident.. that said Derek deserves imprisonment.. but they are understaffed and underfunded yet risking their lives in an area where gun violence has increased substantially. Thank you Minneapolis police for all that you do and put up with! I’m so sorry for the loss 0f your comrade
