I love how Minnie doesn’t let Mrs. Walters eat one. I don’t know what she was like, but she must have been decently nice to Minnie for Minnie to not want her to have any part of eating it.

Bryce Dallas Howard perfectly portrayed someone who could be horrifically scarred and burned with acid and people would still laugh at her and call her a circus freak because of how awful and nasty she is. People thought she was really nasty and awful in real life.

Obviously, Hilly didn't take after her mother because her mother appears to be a kind person. Hilly was able to control how everyone else thought, felt, treated, and acted around those whom Hilly considered to be unacceptable according to her standards. That's why Celia and her husband Johnny are the best characters besides Hilly's mother and Skeeter in the whole movie

It is. I made a chocolate pie when my book group was reading "The Help" and took it along to one of our sessions. No, I did not put you-know-what in it. Everyone loved it. I made the pie from scratch because I figured that's what Minny would have done.
