Ah, so you became a massive world destroying monster only to get punched out by an approximately 50kg Welsh catgirl? How embarrassing! You thought you were OP, but it turned out, you only made everyone PO'd!
Hate to break it to you, but the designs they use for their individual forms are the only ones recycled. They are moebius I and G, iirc. Honestly, that's understandable. I wouldn't go through all the effort to create such complex and intricate designs, then 3D models, all to just appear for 5 seconds in a 100 hour long game 😅
Mio’s punch and speech is great and all, but can we just talk about Eunie’s follow-up “You there, in the back. Feeling lonely because you haven’t been punched yet?” What a line
Welshcat puch has a very similar ring to it and is a bit more accurate. (I think. I dont know. Everyone calls her and her mother Welsh so im just going with the flow)
"You'll writhe in agony before we-" Mio: "OH I'm sorry, you were wide open!" Seriously tho, seeing this scene the first time gave me strong Vegito vs Zamasu vibes
they just smash through the flame clock. sure sena and lanz couldn't destroy the flame clock earlier but they didn't have the power of comedy on their side back then
@pablothecoffeelover2551 but is Sena born of a Flesh Eater? Like look at it thus way. Despite Nia being a Flesh Eater, Rex was a Blade Eater so all in All, Mio would still be roughly 50% Blade, 50% humanoid, but we don't know anything about Sena's life before Origin
I saw this coming, just because Ethel is the only Hero to have a warning for leaving your party, plus, her dialogue was practically Flag City. What I DIDN'T expect was the level of sheer determination that followed with this fight.
@@leifster7762 You can get her back. If you do Mio's Hero quest, I think it leads to Cammuravi's recruitment quest and then once you do his Hero quest, Ethel returns. It can happen after the events of act 4, I believe.
I usually play JRPG in Japanese dub. This time, absolutely randomly, I decided not to (mostly cause I'm tired of missing the party banter between fights). "You there, in the back. Feeling lonely because you haven’t been punched yet?" line was when I decided "yes, this is a damn GOOD dub".
I kind of wonder why OP's interlink has them both present compared to the other pair, DJ. If it's a matter of OP seeing eachother as partners so they decide to double up vs DJ's clear D wants to be the lead and J's the support.
it could also show that OP's interlinking wasn't perfect either because they were fighting for control, whereas J has submitted himself completely to D's bloodlust
When Dirk is first seen returning to Z's theatre and speaking to the noisy rabble, J can be seen standing right behind him after cancelling the interlink.
@@tipsy634 I think you're on to something here. Ultimate Dirk: -wears pink -is the culmination of all of his splintered selves -has witnessed countless realities -is naturally immortal, but can be killed -offed himself in the timeline where he didn't matter anymore -chose to remain as a villain in the timeline where he does matter I dunno where I was going with this.
The part earlier where they got their Ouroboros forms was when the pairs united, but this part is where all 6 truly became united to fuck some shit up.
I’m just here wondering how the hell Mio got the air time for that punch, I assume her and Noah didn’t interlink to launch her up there, because there was no sound for it, like they do for Noah to be able to shatter Flame Clocks, so it’s to be assumed that Mio took like a running leap to get the air time for that. Damn Girl, I guess you really shouldn’t mess with Welsh Catgirls.
Now that I think about it, this scene has a kind of energy that just makes someone want to shout at Consuls P and O "Dumbasses! You call that Interlinking?! What a joke! That is not Interlinking! Proper Interlinking is a thing of beauty! Two beings of massive fighting spirit coming together to form a blazing inferno!"
A bit late, but that's the "Moebius" track. It represents the bad guys and its motif can be heard in a number of scenes and tracks related to them or their concept. "Noah and N", "Showdown with Z", " Origin Depths", are examples of pieces that use this very motif
Only just getting going on ch6 at the moment so no spoilers if I'm wrong, but I really did expect this scene to be followed y some sort of big reveal. A reminder that even "no-name grunt" Moebius can level a gold colony on their own, and this is an INTERLINKED Moebius which Mio (Not even Sena or Lanz) punches so hard they go flying, WITH NO WEAPON, UN-INTERLINKED. Sure it was super badass, but like, whuh? How.
This is a spoiler but from the picture that we see in nia Scene At the end of the game I believe mio is Rex’s and Nia’s daughter and if that’s the case she has the power of her aunt mythra Because like how mythra slapped Rex Breaking the screen Mio Punched a Mobius into a rock Also if this is true where is Pyra and mythra’s kids Because I would really like to see what they could do two Can do to a Mobius
@@pengie-gw2lu Well, yeah, and all those soldiers that get bodied by Moebius were ALSO using power frames, and yet even with weapons they were no match for L. Not saying that the game is bad because of this one thing, but it does sort of stick out because it stretches suspension of disbelief a lot more than other moments
@@yoshifan2334 Mio was also one of the best of the best in Agnus, and most importantly, he sucker punched them. Moebius don't win fights against entire colonies because they're so strong that they're invincible. (It's outright stated that Ethel, Cammuravi, and other similar commanders are strong enough that they could probably 1-vs-1 a Moebius.) They win because they can heal any damage they take so long as the colony still has soldiers left alive to hurt them. But in a fight with no flame clocks around and while they're too busy monologuing to pay attention, any sufficiently pissed-off high-level soldier should be capable of the same.
Not the first name that would come to my mind, seeing this moment. Since we know a certain little salvager who would have acted the same way in this situation.
