I do really like her. I know she has had to deal with a lot of prejudice in her career as well. She has spoken out for Palestinian rights and has been condemned for it by some in the Jewish community and she has been targeted by fascists for being Jewish and lesbian. She is a great advocate for human rights, and she leads and has led a most extraordinary life full of humour and compassion. What a woman !

Graham Norton is a Irish comedian turned full-time talk show host. Hands down the best talk show on the planet. All the stars love appearing on it because he makes it so fun.

Here are some things I found out about Miriam. 1) She has done some voice work in Japanese anime, 2) She was in Martin Scorsese's film "The Age of Innocence", 3) She played Fly the dog in the movie "Babe", 4) The breakfast scene she was in is from "The Real Marigold Hotel", 5) In 1963, she was the first person in Britain to use the f-word on TV, 6) She played the Glow Worm in "James and the Giant Peach", 7) She was born on May 18, 1941 (she is now 81), and 8) She has been with her partner since 1968.

This woman is a treasure. I just want to be that free one day. ❤️

Hands down, most enjoyable reaction to the wonderful Miriam Margolyes that I've seen, and I've seen a lot because I just love her and I love watching people experience her authenticity and zest for life (which is underscored by an undeniably beautiful soul, an innocent and kind curiosity, and a determination to love and be loved). We are so fortunate here in Australia to be able to say that she is now a citizen here, where she shares a home with her long-time partner. She is a limitless talent, a joy to behoild, and I can't imagine a person alive who wouldn't want to know her and spend time in her presence once they were familiar with who she is. You also have an inate magnetism and your big heart is on full display when you are reacting in your videos. I'm gay but you're a straight man who isn't afraid to just have fun and let your humanity and sexuality be seen, but in a way that no-one could ever seriously say was inappropriate or off-putting. It is clear that she and Mr Norton could sit and swap anecdotes until Hell freezes over while the other guests gaze on in delight and horror in equal measure. Graham has the best talk show on the air. He’s much better any of the talk shows now on in the USA. You’ve got to see his red chair stories. People come and sit in this chair and tell the wildest stories. If he likes them they can get up and leave afterward. If he doesn’t, he has a lever that he pulls and they flip backwards out of the chair. It’s often hilarious.
