Hi mate!!!! I have a question!!! I do a lot of level 5 or skim coat!!! And normally I do the sanding by hand!!! Do you recommended it machine to do the final sanding? It machine could to demage my final coat? Thank mate
I'd say it's like any other power tool tbh... There is a small learning curve to get to know it, and to learn the best technique that gives the best results. But this machine in particular is very versatile in the way in which you can change the speed in which it rotates, and the pad is soft and absorbs some of the pressure which is great on surfaces that are not 100 % flat.. The only downside is the fact that because its on a pole, you cannot run your hand over a surface to feel the surface whilst in use like you can with a hand one like the Mirka Deros
I use this sander to de-nib all wall and ceiling surfaces before I actually do any plaster repairs... I find that the mirka deros is better suited to then smooth off all my filling.
I'm currently on a large job following a plasterer in every room... And all the plastering needs a bit of face filling to get a near perfect finish.... This sander has come in very useful for all of the ceilings in particular 👌
Hi there, yes it does sand more quickly with less pressure... But It has its pro's and cons. For sanding down easifill, you ant beat one in your hand, but as long as the filler isn't on too thick... This is perfect 👌
I'd say it is worth the money on larger scale job's.... I've taken on a few large residential property full refurb jobs and it has come in very handy... So well worth the money for me 👍
