My heart this episode: Fabian knowing "The Ball" will always pick up the phone for him, meaning he calls him often enough to establish a pattern. Fabian pretending he doesn't remember Riz's name when he hand wrote him 100 bussiness card. Fabian starting to call him Riz on accident when he thinks they might have to kill him. Fabian refuseing to injure his "friend" and freaks out when the others start to. Fabian: "The Ball is fine, right? I mean, Riz will be fine." Unprompted. Out of no where. Clearly trying to convince himself. Fabian asking himself mentally "What would Riz Gukgak do?" like its something he thinks about. Like he knows in his head how awesome Riz is, even if he tries not to aknowledge it outloud. My heart. I need him to flip out when they find him. Either irrationally mad or overwhelmingly relieved. I don't care.

"I warn you, this _will_ break me." Holy shit, Brennan's ability to make Gilear absolutely miserable is incredible.

I want y'all to know that with the CCs turned on, when Ragh and Fabian are walking to get pretzels it says "athletic and heteronormative grunting" which is so delightful

_the most concerning thing about this is the amount of times fabian calls riz by his given name_

Fabian has become significantly less cool over time and it's amazing

Oh god the transition from Ragh and Fabian being hilarious and cute to Kristen secretly sending gold to her brothers HURT. HOW ARE Y'ALL THIS GOOD AT ROLEPLAYING. ouch my heart

Fabian literally just has two sides of his personality with no middle ground. He has a badass "cool" side, and an absolute fucking dork side that'll bite down on a shard of glass and start crying in the middle of a mall, and I love it

"Cathilda, do maids dream?"

I like how everyone is goingg "aww fabian is worried for riz" or "aww fabian is acting kinda stupid or less cool this episode" but nobody combines those to say "damn fabian is really so distraught by the things he saw that it's breaking him up"

"I am surrounded by the charming partners of the women who have left me" I genuinely think Gilear is Brennan's greatest proof of his talent with improv. Actually spectacular.

Lou's ability as a character actor during the glass bite scene is just incredible

I like how Galleir started out as a single dad down on his luck, but then the jokes from the players shaped him into the pitiful shell of a man he is today. D&D at its finest.

Brennan: "You can buy the van for a song." Zac: "... so how much gold?"

Fabian is the only highschooler to be *cooler* in his first year.

one of my favourite things is the commanding confidence with which Siobhan throws her divination rolls at people. you can tell that that "you roll a 4" really threw Brennan for a second

I love how much Fabian actually loves Riz, like he is his “The Ball” and he doesn’t want anything bad to happen to him Also, I was listening to the first half of this to fall asleep last night, and I realized too late how bad of an idea that was

Gorgug's Partents are adorable, but also really good constructive parents, Without parents that boosted his confidence so much, Gorgug would probably be afraid to leave the house (:

Love the fact that Fabian has the role of "the straight man" but has the most chaotic and crazy parents of them all.

after fabian's BEAUTIFUL glass eating moment around 44 min in, I never want to hear someone try and claim he is "cool" again ok? he is a dork like the rest of them and I love him for it

“He’s like shoving you but also lovingly taking the tears out of your eyes.” Some real alpha shit shit right there. Love the true masculinity between Fabian and Rahg.

Gorgug has wanted to be the soccer mum in the van for the last 2 videos and now he's finally succeeded and I can die satisfied

I love how Fabian was worried about Riz, but is also 100% sure Riz is ok because he has faith in him. And not to mention, he uses Riz's name a few times during this episode, which is adorable coming from Fabian.

That bit where kristen literally just wanted to go by her parents' house to give money to her lil siblings made me honestly tear up a bit. She must feel guilty abt leaving them there w her cultist parents.

Gorgug just wanted to give his parents money because he loves them is precious

The Fabian character arc of arrogant rich kid to wholesome himbo has been wonderful.

In my heart when Fabian responds to the voice of Bill Seacaster with "nothing" it plays out as it reads, since his eyepatch LITERALLY makes it so he cannot be afraid of anything. "What are you afraid of boy?" *Fabian Smiles in Seacaster Madness* "Nothing."

Just want to point out that Brennan's got a really nice little tidbit in his world building that most people wouldn't have reason to notice. Cathilda had an Irish accent and is a dervish blade dancer (I think that's what he called it, a sort of swirling flurry of blades is her fighting style I guess?) - her surname is a nod to both. You can see from the CC at 1:02:48 that the spelling is ceili, which is the word in Irish for a type of dancing (céilí - pronounced kaylee). Delightful :)

Kristen has gone from quirky kid struggling with family, religion and sexuality to alcohol aunt whos just mean to Gilear

You guys completely forgot about the monster vehicle they commissioned.

I don’t see any praise for whoever wrote “(athletic and heteronormative grunting)” in the captions, because that is amazing and they deserve a raise

Oh my God, I am 15 minutes in and I love this fight so much. Nightmare Riz is that perfect kind of horror. Just cracking, twisting, and trying to take people's eyes out. Really, just perfect.

The whole time I'm just thinking about how Gorgug forgot to ask his parents for a generator to stay in contact with Zelda.

Riz really proves that a nickname from the first day of high school can follow you forever.

Argh has gone from the stereotypical bully who you know you’re gonna hate, to being one of the most wholesome things that has graced dimension 20

Why did Fabian calling Riz by his actual name during the fight hurt so much??

Accidental character consistency: Fabian trying his hardest to hit Riz-Thing and failing but Kristen effortlessly hitting it with the power of Yes? Reminds me of when Fabian tried to jump a table and failed but then Kristen tried to hit a corn monster and beamed every monster in the area with the power of the Sun God

I’m so concerned that Cathilda is gonna be this season’s Basrar, outwardly very happy and wholesome but secretly deeply troubled She’s so pure and if anything bad happens to her I will fight Brennan, retroactively or otherwise

When Brennan said Baxter, I panicked because I thought I missed an important character but then when he said Sandra Lynn's Griffin I felt an incredible sense of relief.

The fact that Fig has to fully sleep at night really should have alerted Gilear, but I guess he was just being Gilear.

Low how Ally just constantly makes the most like impossible fucking rolls and shocks Brennan

“I have an anxiety disorder and driving is scary for me!” Relatable character lol, and people look at me funny when I say I don’t have my learners. I mean, I live in the most compact city in New Zealand so driving is like a weird thing to do; you either walk around the city or take the bus. But even still, I don’t like cars and I don’t feel comfortable putting myself behind the wheel of basically a massive metal monster that one mistake could kill me or someone else.

i still think the best part about this is that Gorgug was willing to pay 1000 gold when his parents were selling him the van

I love Lou so fucking much. Most people wouldn't have the chops to make their character with a badass complex cry over something like that. That was beautiful.

RAGH IS THE BEST OMG. Last episode, Gorgug told him he could be his own dad and he was like you know what, you right. That's possible. Now he's straight eating glass to make Fabian feel better. What a guy

I can not be appreciated enough how much of a hype man Ragh is

Amazing how it takes a single glad shard to break Fabians composure, its actually kinda beautiful

I like that Fabián goes "what would riz gukgak do" when he is trying to investigate things, like the whole detective thing that riz does is actually really cool, yes ots dorky but the guy genuinly solved a case that even profesional police detectives and even federal agents couldnt solve So Fabián when he is in a situation that involves having to investigate shit he asks what would riz do

I fucking love how Ragh’s loyalty depends on who the owlbear captain is

Gilear just exists to suffer and I love it

You know you have mommy issues when Sandra Lynn, Skronda, and Cathilda are your favorite npcs

Fabian, Riz and Ragh together would make for a dope sitcom.
