Wish they added the details from the books like: Bronwyn being the motherly figure. Olive actually being a child and not having fire powers. Emma having the flames that match with her fiery and definite personality. Giving Millard his 'goody' personality and genuinely a bigger role. And Abe actually dying at the begging, also what about his last words? Fiona's romance with Horace!! Sorry for the major rant but this film fell so short to me.

I like the book a lot more because they switched a lot of the best characters, like Emma was meant to have fire powers and some of the characters ages were mixed up a lot.

Someone please explain to me something that looks like a plot hole. How does Malthus' death erase the event of him killing Abe from the timeline? I mean, yes Malthus was killed by a bomb in 1943 loop but it was not a 1943-Malthus who got killed - it was a-present-day 2016 Malthus who travelled into 1943 loop AFTER he killed Abe. This should mean Malthus' death doesn't erase Abe's death from the timeline.

I also want to say that reading the comments in this particular clip is very soothing. People are encouraging one another, Helping. It shows that there is hope. There is someone who cares. Even id there is a story to this song that can be connected with suicide and mental illness, it still is very pure compared to other songs our generation has created. I would absolutely recommend this song to anyone suffering from anxiety or depression. Very calming indeed.

Ok. I have to rant really quick. I have read the books 5 times and I love them. I was so excited for the movie and I was excited to show my family how cool it was. But this was kind of a letdown. There was nothing right in the movie it didn't follow the story line at all and it changed around two characters I was just very mad. Sorry I had to complain and rant. I'm feeling feisty today😂😂😂😂

Apart from the character switch I thought the first half was good with staying true to parts of the book in a shortened way. Would have been better if they did a trilogy however instead since seeing their take on some peculiar animals would have been interesting

In the books, Victor is Bronwyn's twin brother, and has super strength just like his sister. He is dead, but Enoch can temporarily bring him back to life, he does so for Bronwyn, but Victor has stated he does not like being revived, which explains why he was crying.

Mainly because at the end of the first book, Miss P is stuck as a bird, and the entire second book is about saving her. I don't quite see how they will do it as at the end of the film Miss P joins them as a human, so who knows what they'll do

Victor could have been saved if that point would have been created by Miss Peregrine. The hollow keeps coming back every time the day resets. If Miss Peregrine had reset the day the day Victor was killed he would have been alive.

This is late but that isn't true. I dont know the specifics, but I believe that dead Peculiars are no longer affected by the influence of the loop. Again, I dont exactly know how, but resetting the loop has no effect on Victor's corpse.

@@incogniftoar3943 it would have if he was alive, but he isn't obviously. At this point all I can say is "fantasy logic" to you. As I stated before, maybe the dead Peculiars are no longer affected by time or something, I'm not too sure cause obviously the dead hollow keeps returning.

Unfortunately, if your killed in the loop, you do not come back the next day, because, even though it's a repeat of the same day, the people inside the loop do different things. However, the loop does affect his body. It never rots, just stays as a day old corpse which is why they keep Victor in his room
