Lea and DeeDee. DeeDee voices Pearl in SU and I idolize her. Even though Lapis isn't my favorite SU character Jennifer Paz is very talented as well

So many great singers :) I'm surprised how good Melinda Chua's german pronounciation was. You could actually understand her lyrics easily, while with the other German speaking Kims you had to put some effort into understanding them despite their heavy accents. But they all sang beautifully :)

I truly love these videos. I’ve seen this show many times and Joan Almedilla is a powerhouse and ranks as my favorite Kim I’ve seen live. Seeing her live in the Broadway production was such a breathtaking experience. Thank you for these uploads!

Favorites: Lea Salonga (DUH HAHA, that goes without saying lol), Minako Honda, Roanne Monte, Cristina Paras, Deedee Lynn Magno, Joanna Ampil, Leah Delos Santos (very beautiful!), Annjanette Laborte, Melinda Chua, Linda Wagenmakers, Jennifer Hubilla, Alex Lee Tano (a good voice, but she needs a little expression), Kristine Remigio, Ima Castro, Laurie Cadevida, Lissah Martins, Li-Tung Hsu (wait, wasn't she Gigi?), EJ Zimmerman, Julia Abueva (her voice kinda cracked in the end, but still beautiful), Eva Noblezada Please make more! I love your comparisons, especially the Miss Saigon ones.

Honda's my overall favorite as well, even if I don't have the guts to officially rate her "above" Salonga. Most of the others are going off of the template originated by Lea, but Minako very much has her own style and visualization, where I can very much feel her emotion (even if I can't speak Japanese). So its really apples and oranges with the two (that last note of Honda's though, just wow - something like 15 seconds?)

Lukeyuriraine25 I purchased this CD many years ago and was initially “disappointed” but quickly came to appreciate and love Minako on the merit of strength in her voice. She sustains such power on those notes. I hope you’re able to locate this gem as it is another live recording and features the second version of the finale (I’m not sure what finale version is on the German recording....the CSR and Dutch feature the current finale

Someone needs to re evaluate this compilation. As an original member of, Miss Saigon, I had the honor of performing with many of these wonderful actresses. However you have a lot of misrepresentation happening here. Wrong names listed, wrong voices posted with other actresses pictures. One example is, you have, Tez Millan’s name listed under Stuttgart, but the actress performing is Maridas Lazo. There are quite a few mistakes. It’s a nice compilation, but the misrepresentation is not really fair.
