Very disappointed with the results this year....USA can say goodbye to the Miss Universe crown , she will probably in the top 16 because she is from USA.

When New Mexico answered I was so sad...it wasn't great and with NC doing so well it just wasn't going to be her night. But I feel like NM would have a great look for Universe.

Miss NC did her thing all the way through. She was extremely consistent with her determination! She just shines and is so confident! And can we talk about her hair. So stunning! Talk about breaking barriers in the pageant industry. She does that and I love everything about what she brings to the Miss Universe Organization. Her accomplishments speak so much volume. Much love Miss NC! And congratulations to the other ladies also. What an awesome group of ladies. 💖

I don't know how many of u noticed but miss Usa 2019 proved the pageant superstition wrong. Miss North Carolina had her hands in the bottom not on the top. Yet,she won!!

Dani, I can’t expressed how disappointed and upset I am at this year’s results. This year’s group is so facially stunning!! So many beauties from NM, FL, KS, Minnesota, GA, CA, NJ, etc.! And in the end.. a facially weak NC won!! The pageant community and viewers are disappointed and outraged at the results!!

Will we EVER break free of those boring/tired Sherri Hill gowns?

I love love LOVE Miss NC as our new Miss USA. I had her in my top 10 after prelims but after watching the competition progress she easily fell into my top 3. 2 of the top 3 (OK & NM) were in my original top 5 after prelims so I am soooo pleased with the results. Miss NC reminds me of my daughter so I’m likely a bit biased on how beautiful I think she is, nonetheless I believe she’s absolutely stunning! FACTS! I don’t understand all the comments of disappointment about anyone in the top 3. I’m also amazed about how it was such a colorful top 15, 10, 5, & 3. I know “diverse” can be an annoying cliche word, but geez it was soooo truly beautiful this year. Lastly, I’m super proud of Miss OK, I felt like she was a dark horse the whole time, but I knew she’d do well.

“I’m sick of the word diverse”. Honey, I couldn’t have said it better myself!!! This year’s pageant was a huge disappointment. Miss New Mexico was gorgeous, intelligent (a Master’s degree in accounting....not everyone can do that) and she presented herself beautifully on-stage. After watching the prelims, I didn’t even have NC in my 15. Thanks for your re-cap.....you two are a riot...but really gentle in your reviews.

That was Lacie’s third pageant. But Miss Hawaii USA was her first one and competing in USA was her second. Hawaii hasn’t had anyone advance to the top since Chelsea Harding got 1st runner Up in Miss USA a couple years ago. Hawaii made all of us proud back home. I love North Carolina as our new USA.

Great review Dani! Cheslie did a spectacular job throughout the competition and I'm really happy she won Miss USA! Congratulations to her! ❤ In addition, I was absolutely blown away that a majority of my front runners didn't make the cut. It really does go to show that interviews are the most important part of the competiton. Overall I'm happy for the girls who made the Top 15. One thing I found very unfair though was that they brought back the same judges from prelims/interviews to final night. I have nothing against a whole female panel but it's a little biased knowing that they're gonna put the girls with the highest interview score through to Top 5 regardless of her performance in swim/gown. I love your reviews as per usual and I can't wait to see Cheslie's reign and her journey to Miss Universe! ❤

Miss Usa was disappointing. There were a lot of intelligent women but me being a guy ( I can't help it Dani ) we often go by looks. I am sorry for my earlier comments, Dani , I totally agree with your assessment in this video.

When the top 3 was announced. I'm thought ok New Mexico is going to win. But when they answered the final word Man North Carolina nailed that thing . It reminds me of Miss Universe 2007 Rito Mori came out of nowhere and won everything. I loved New Mexico I'm sad that she didn't win. But still congrats to Miss North Carolina and goodluck in Miss Universe

Dani, On Cheslie. Cheslie is the oldest Miss USA ever at 28. But, I also saw something else that I never saw before. The winner is African-American, The 1st Runner Up was Hispanic (New Mexico), and the 2nd Runner Up (Oklahoma) was a native American. As I said in an earlier post on your predictions earlier in the week, this was the best Miss USA group ever. But I was shocked of some of the contestants that I thought who would be in the top 15 didn't make it. The ones I picked didn't make it: California Georgia (who reminded me of Olivia Culpo) Illnois (who was in Sarah Rose Summers' Miss Teen USA group) New Jersey and Texas, who I thought would win. I was wrong. Now for Cheslie, she reminds me of Kira McCullough, who you two saw last year at the 2018 Miss USA Pageant, I am just wondering , how would Cheslie do at Miss Universe later this year? Thank you.

I agree with you regarding the experience the contestants get from Miss America but Miss Connecticut didn’t make it to the finals! Robbed! And interestingly enough, she was the only one to make it to the finals in Miss America for her year out of all the girls that had prior experience in that pageant! Oh and yes you are right Triana was Miss Oklahoma 2017 and competed at Miss America that same year.

Dani I think you need to do another reaction video to the reaction the new Miss USA Cheslie Kyrst. And educate the people again why she won and how the Miss USA system works. I feel like optics and emotions from this pageant has gotten out of hand. We should be uplifting ALL of these women not tearing them down. Miss USA and Miss Universe is more of a job interview more than a pageant. The world is so divided and its just a pageant people. Miss New Mexico will be ok her future is bright.

I think Cheslie will be a great Miss USA. I think her Miss Universe placement is up in the air. I think Cheslie would have been a better Miss USA, but I believe Alejandra would have done better at Miss Universe. I'm satisfied with my home state rep's placement. That's Nicolette Jennings. Her, Kansas, and Ohio could have made top 5, but they did well. Texas shouldn't have missed too 15.

I’m so late but I think New Mexico would have been a better miss universe candidate, such a strong performer when it comes to the stage in term of her walk and knowing how to catch camera at the right time along with her fresh personality. Her interview skills are good and can be improved for the pageant. I think North Carolina would be a killer candidate for Miss World actually. I think she’s fits the concept of beauty with a purpose more than Miss Universe and And would do an amazing the interviews and challenges for miss World.

My final thoughts on this outcome & apparent direction the MUO is taking is: When will it carry over to the MUNI competition to ever give MUSA(NC) a chance to compete for the MUNI crown? Obviously, Philippines deserved the crown last year. But if the MUO , does not carry over the same criteria @MUNI as they do @ MUSA, then it’s very confusing to prepare for all GIRLS from around the world & TRUST me they will exit MUO & actually go to MISS WORLD. So, the MUO needs to express their criteria of what they are looking for to be consistent around the globe. •BE UNIQUE •HAVE EXPERIENCE IN YOUR PLATFORM •HAVE DOCTORATE LEVEL EDUCATION •SPEAK CONCISELY & DON’T go OVER LIMIT WHILE SPEAKING. • YOU CAN MESS UP IN SWIMSUIT WITH THE BODY WRAP & STILL advance. • BUT DON’T go OVER speaking limit during final Q/A by ONE WORD! My random thoughts no one asked for, but I must share with like-minded people 😝 Minnesota had all the FACE! Where did she come from?!!! And Kansas!!! On NC- I adore her, she’s obviously very educated, well-spoken and successful. I love that she wore her natural curls. I think she’s beautiful, but I do get a more America vibe from her. While I think she did great on stage and she looked amazing, I don’t think she had the best stage presence. Was this the first time a contestant with a visible tattoo made top 3? Noticed it in prelims and wondered if she was going to cover it. For the record, it doesn’t bother me at all but I know visible ink can be a bit taboo on stage. I thought it was odd that they kept all the contestants lined up on stage during EG. It distracted me from the walking contestant. Bummed that they didn’t get to change gowns- although it did seem like all the girls with the ‘better’ gowns from prelims advanced. Also found it odd they had them dancing in swimsuits? Do they always do this and I just overlooked it?

But that didn’t work for CT who was top 15 in Miss America.

Personally, MOU should abandon the selection committee full of women. This is not supporting women or equality or feminism. This is dividing men and women, this is too much. There should be at least one men in the selection committee

It’s odd that when you talked about Arkansas answer you said she needs to give a specific solution for the question she was asked I disagree it’s not fair at all this is not the presidential debate they are discussing policy in the House of Representatives ... she is a young woman in college not even studying politics who is dressing up in an evening gown and swimsuit for a beauty contest .. if they want a queen who is outstanding in interview, a good speaker, and can answer the worlds problems swimsuit and evening gown competitions are pointless

Well...I have watched Miss USA for close to 40 years and was very disappointed.I think I am also not happy with IMG running the pageant.No male judges?! Not impressed with how they all look a like since IMG took over. Way too politically correct. And in no means am I racist!!! Miss USA enough is enough get with the program or else you won't have any more viewers. Nice job Dani as always.

Quite honestly, she stands NO chance at Miss Universe. Let’s face it, if she does make it, she did because of sash factor!! Does she have the accomplishments? Yes. Does she have the interview skills? Yes. But, this is a beauty pageant!! Why is Miss USA/ Miss Universe so popular? Because it’s a beauty pageant! I know I sound superficial but at the end of the day, will the average viewer/Pageant fan care about her achievements? Will they care if she aced her final word? NO! Hell no!! She’s not running for political office!! What if she is an attorney? Good for her! But, this is Miss USA. She will compete in Miss Universe!! Facial beauty is the most important! She can be the best talker in the world but if she can’t walk in heels or loses facially in contrast to other states/countries, then she is not deserving of the title!! She should go to Miss America then!! That’s the pageant she should go to!! This is Miss USA! This is not Miss Interview Queen!
