Mission BBQ is a solid BBQ joint with a sauce for everyone. I've eaten here a couple times and it's always great. If you've every rode in a deuce and half, you'll appreciate this smoker.
Saying it's the best chow that ever came out of a deuce-and-a-half is damning it with faint praise, Preacher. Certainly looked better than anything I ate in the Army. It looked pretty good. bless you, preacher for the things you do.

Looks good Harold. I haven't eaten there, but I think I remember dad telling me about it when he worked in Roanoke one time. When he was on the road more for ADT or AFA, they'd normally eat at a Chinese restaurant up there so they could get more vegetables. I can't remember the name of it, but it's pretty good. @@preachersdayoff Wow. Yeah, it's been on a cycle of warm weekdays with some rain and cooler temps on the weekends for a while now. I worked for the strawberry farmer most of this week and enjoyed wearing shorts and a t-shirt in February 😂.

I was riding in the back with the canvas top off on an AL interstate asleep on some duffle bags when another semi truck swerved into us shattering the drivers side mirror and covered me in glass. He never stopped and we couldn't catch him if we too.
I like rising for the anthem but the for the food it just looked to much like chain BBQ. I miss my little BBQ joint close to where I used to hunt hole in the wall old lady ran beside her house best pulled pork you have ever had. I always tipped her more than she would take just because
As far as chains go this is almost as good as the Hard Eight’s in TX and way better than a Dickey’s or Slims. I think the military twist makes it unique.
