I really felt bad when Dr. Elizabeth Weir got hit by the blast. I was afraid that was it for her on the show. This was a picture perfect science fiction story. I watch all 5 seasons once every year or so. Never tire of it. When they came out of that gate on Atlantis I was in another World myself. Who dared give this video here thumbs down. I wish they would have found more Z.P. Modules. But it was just fine seeing Atlantis take off when it did. Landing near the Golden Gate Bridge did push suspended disbelief to the edge. Fine Video Stargate Command. Need to catch up on missed ones. thanks!

I miss all of the Stargate franchises. Yes even SGU. I really enjoyed the darkness and grittiness of it. The human stories. The relationship between the different characters and the dangers they faced at every turn. It was awesome. It wasn’t “finished “ in a good way at all.

4:54 that scene is so powerful when we saw the whole journey of Stargate as a whole and as a human process: because we passed from being a helpless planet with just a few "Shuttles" to basically make a planetary bombardment. Is a incredible work what was done by everyone on the Team, from writers to actors, to pre-production to post-production. Probably we'll never ser another team so compromise on the next decades if We're lucky enough.

The season 3 finale and the first 2 episodes of season 4 were a great 3 parter especially the scenes with Sheppard and McKay

I'd love to watch SGU and find out what happened to Eli Wallace, did he repair the hibernation pod in time? What would Destany find once she reached her final destination? Failing that,... I'd like to see a remake of Andromeda (Kevin Sobor) however, remade to how GENE Roddenberry originally envisioned it and not a Sci-Fi version of Hercules.

that scene following the horizon missile is my all time favourite scene in all of sci fi, it might not seem as unreal with todays budgets and effects but back then it blew me and the replicators away, it carved itself into my heart and that planets surface :D

It's honestly very interesting. They said they just let loose and had fun with it because they knew this time that they were already picked up. And the result was one of the strongest season finales the show had. But then there's SGU, which had the same benefit from the very start of knowing they were greenlit for 2 seasons, but well..

Given the series complexity, I'm surprised that SG1 succeeded. Hard to hook that many fans when the story has so many elements. Good writing.

I love all the Stargate shows. But ah you might not want to stop. I wouldn't be the only one who is ticket off by it. I still believe SG1 should still be going on. Space is endless and ever evolving. As should the show. Impossible? Hey it's not my fault you created a monster. Now we can't get enough. Lol.

McGoohan made the point in THE PRISONER that man was the most dangerous animal. Maybe the theme is "the menace from earth." (Stargate Empire)Could something grim have befallen SG-1 and Gate Command? A tense psychological thriller? McGoohan would win the battle, only to find that the war was still lost. UNIVERSE brushed up against this, but got too tricky too fast. Maybe, they redeem themselves? All Stargate needs is a script better than the first movie. What if it all happens in Jack's head?

So i guess we will have to wait DISNEY to buy stargate to get more movie/serie and GAME about it ? ..... How it's possible to get a such popular franchise with such potential ( way more potential now with all technologie) and still manage to not make nothing new that is valuable ?
