I would have liked to have seen each Gishath trigger resolved separately to see how the board was affected between first strike damage and regular damage. Other than that it was fun to see Unesh and Gishath do their thing. Sorry to see Bill bring a knife to a gun fight.

Gishath was my first EDH deck. I have about 14 decks now. It wins A LOT so long as you get some ramp.

I've hit with double-strike Gishath before; dinosaurs did rain down. I also got to one-shot an entire pod in another game with that deck with Triumph of the Hordes.

I have a Gishath dino tribal deck and I can confirm, if Gishash enters and swings, besides the damage, you have a very big problem do deal in the next rotation.

I love your Mistform deck, Muddstah. I have played plenty of commanders but never really had a deck that people associated almost exclusively with me. Dana Roach (EDHRECast)'s Reki deck is similar (he's one of very few people playing it and he basically made the deck what it is). It's been cool to watch Mistform evolved over the last year or so.

Zurgo in the fashion it was built here is meant for a format know as duel commander, a 1v1 commander game variant. So yes, it does have quit a good chance at killing someone...1v1

Be careful on Double Strike Gishath. To my understanding the damage isn't simultaneous, and your damage can change depending on the reveals. Thundering Spineback can say hello and give you another card.

No, because Zacama enters on the battlefield from Gishath's trigger. Zacama untap all lands only if you cast it

Your meta is very different from the one I play in. At the card shop I go to, there's at least 3 Yuriko decks that see regular play. But honestly, she's like the one good ninjitsu commander. I do agree that Unesh Sphinx Tribal looks like a blast!

Well, according to EDHREC, Yuriko, Tigers shadow is the top player dimir commander... rightfully so, too, there is a possibility people are dying turn 4-5 from top deck manipulation

When the mirror becomes Unesh, it doesn't trigger Unesh's ability because it doesn't enter the battlefield. Great game, though!

If that's what my narration implied, I'm sorry! He doesn't actually do that in the game. The only trigger from the Mirror Unesh is when he casts Sharding Sphinx in his post combat main phase.

Check out EDHREC.com all you need to run this deck is a bunch of good Dinos and a bunch of ramp spells and maybe 4 to 5 removal spells. That's it.

36 is my minimum for decks with green. Traditionally anything without green is about 38-39.

"I discard (insert spell here) because I'll never get to cast it this game" is something I hear players say a lot and something they always regret 2 turns later when they actually have the mana and the need for the spell is real lol

@@lobo-xs6kd while true in this case, often enough people toss expensive cards away that they could and end up needing to play. That is merely the point I was trying to make.

@@jlbrooks74 I think it's a carry over strat from normal 60 card decks where you have multiple copies of cards. In a game of Standard or Modern or whathaveyou you will always discard the most expensive spell because you have other spells to cast to be more mana efficient and you might draw back into another copy of whatever you discarded later. In commander you're not going to draw back into that copy (unless you're playing a lot of recursion, but that's obviously a different kettle of fish), so discarding an important spell (especially one that helps you catch up like a board wipe) just because you can't cast it now is usually a bad idea.

Silverclad Ferocidons can be super scary. Any repeatable targeted ping can clear a players board each turn.

My son has it on his old dino tribal. He also runs the forerunner of the empire and grants indestructible to all his creatures and flops down polyraptor. He makes infinite raptors and basically cleans all boards but his with the ferocidon.

@@SirDavidPaladin That's sweet! I run it in my Kazarov, Sengir Pureblood deck with Pestilence and Pyrohemia being the allstars. When Silverclad is on the field not only are they getting rid of a permanent, Kazarov gets a bunch of counters if they don't chose their creatures as each one damage gives him one. I really enjoyed the enrage mechanic certainly is fun to abuse.

@10:00 Adam should have drew 2 cards cuz Windreader Sphinx draws on any creature with flying attacking even your opponent's creatures.
