The moment Gundo grabbed Carol hand, her arc was complete. It is a clear sign that she views Carol as a dear friend.

Out of all the developments in this cast,the one between Misuzu and Carol is my favorite. She went from despising her to actually caring about her a lot as a friend and you can see it by how she treats Carol when she tries to hug her.

First we seen Carol drop her lovable smile and now Misuzu crying. These are just things the world can’t prepare for

This was Misuzu's moment. This was her breakout moment. Finally she lets her friends know that she feels bad. Letting them know how she feels.

I really love how Carol was trying to give them space but Gundo grabbed her cuz she is also a dear friend

Carol has affected misuzu so much, she shows more of her emotional side now. Beautiful friendship between them.

"There was never any need to force yourself to be more girly" Exactly. Tomo was already girly without even trying and just being herself. That is what makes her so special and precious that she can be girly just by being herself. Misuzu is right. She is fine the way she is.

Damn even Carol, who is usually all smiles, is shocked that Misuzu started crying.

Man this is so deep... She noticed that Jun loved Tomo just the way she was he just needed to clear his mind... And I think that's a strong message for the entire show... Girls can be pretty on their own way you don't need tk be girly or be a tomboy to make him notice you you just need to be yourself and when someone loves your REAL SELF that's the right person... This gets specially strong with the final episode "but couples don't do that kind of stuff" but we aren't like those couples! We are different AND THAT'S OKAY

This show was so good. I'm really sad that it's coming to an end.

i love how Carol is treated like that typical funny and chaotic dumb character in this show, but in the more serious moments she always knows how to do things smoothly and read the mood, unlike others that fit her trope. as soon as Misuzu said she had something to say she stood up. They didn't have her say anything, didn't have to let us hear her thoughts, it just showed clearly that she is an actual human who really cares about her friends

It's sad we can't have more Tomo... this season start and close the story all in once!

That ep was so epic with the reactions Tomo and Jun had when they made the conversations about Love,No classic dizzy or blushes ,just straight up saying and realizing each other feelings was SUCH a good moment

I never excepted Misuzu show her moment of emotions like this from the start of her tears appear for the first time, Misuzu always believed in Tomo is going to be the one who confess her love to Jun and succeed everything she got. That’s the moment of friendship arc between Misuzu, Carol, and Tomo in this episode of the story. 😊🥲👏

I don't know whos' development I love more, Misuzu's for learning to share her emotions and rely on Carol, who she clearly sees as a close friend now, or Carol for having the social awareness to step away from a clearly personal conversation, AND stay when she realizes Misuzu needs her there for support.

So great. Although this story is about Jun and Tomo, Misuzu character growth is so wonderful. Her crying here really brings it home.

After Tomo's mistake on Junichiro about her appearance went wrong, Misuzu wanted her and Carol to listen to her confession about her fault. 1:02. 😔.

Seeing Carol in shock is too funny😂

Now, that’s a sight that I thought that I’d NEVER see from Misuzu. This is DEFINITELY a moment that’s truly worthy of a future Anime Award here!

But Tomo being girly didn't put Jun back, he was internally freaking out every time she showed some strongly feminine behaviour or cloths, they are taking wrong lessons based on wrongly interpreted signals.

On the one hand, I am glad this was only 13 episodes. Kept the pace brisk, every episode was great and look like it will have a satisfying conclusion. On the other hand, I do wish aat times this was a longer season

These girls are my favorite characters from this anime.

We’ve seen misuzu’s neutral face, Angry face, “Just done” face, Sad and worried face, devious face, disgusted face and now we have her Sad face. (I’m not counting the smile face she had at the ramen shop. That was a facade. It has to genuine to count. Also i wonder if their will be a season 2 maybe 3. Idk, but i really enjoyed this show.) *Edit:* I feel like Misuzu was wearing a headband for a while through out the series. I can’t remember is she was or not, i’ll have to rewatch to figure it out and remember. Also after rewatching this clip, i saw the happy face so it counts now.

The moment in this episode was so emotional that I had to contain my crying

This is one of the best of the Season. Thank goodness we have one more episode!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great cast. Great relationships. Great pacing. Great payoffs.

Misuzu showing her vulnerable side to Tomo and Carol was the best part of this series. While I'm a little underwhelmed by the anime adaption overall, this scene was done very well.

Quel moment touchant

Throughout the whole show, Misuzu is torn between wanting to indulge a little in her feelings for Tomo and act act as her best friend by helping Tomo and Jun confront their own feelings for eachother. She knows letting her go is best for both of them, but it still hurts yo. Misuzu imo really elevates the whole show into being memorable. She's the one pushing the narrative along, she works to prevent a lot of the cliche misunderstandings from happening, and her conflict is the most engaging and feels way more developed than what we typically see from romcom friends.

This episode pushed too many emotions from Gundou 😂

I love how Carol seems dense as a box of bricks, yet has the social awareness to know to try to leave when a serious conversation between two people who've known each other longer than they've known her is about to happen.

One of the best anime this season.

That's the kind of deep discussion we usually don't expect to see in anime. They spent the whole season showing Misuzu, the most intelligent character in the anime, trying to make Tomo look more feminine to impress Jun. We knew that it's not right to advise people to change that much to be loved, but we accepted it since this was the theme of the show. And now, in the end, they bless us with this plot twist. Tomo could date Jun while being herself and Misuzu strengthened her bonds with her

Misuzu is in love with Tomo and you will have a hard time convincing me otherwise.

Never thought I'd see the day where Misuzu cries. Tomo and Jun are finally gonna become a couple, but there's only one episode left, meaning that they can't be a couple unless Jun surpasses one final obstacle standing in their way: A certain someone who forbids Tomo to make love with Jun.

Can someone clarify this for me because me and my friend watched Tomo-Chan is a girl and we both have very different opinions on Misuzu's actions/intentions. I always saw it as Misuzu sees her and Tomo as very different people with different interests/hobbies. She's afraid she'll loose Tomo as a friend so to keep Tomo, she made up that Tomo should be girlier so Tomo can continue to need to interact with her for advice. My friend thinks that Misuzu likes Jun and she's just doing this to make Tomo more like her because she knows Jun doesn't like her; therefore, wont like the new Tomo. She also did state at one point she doesn't really want Jun and Tomo to get together. I personally think this still ties with my view that she thinks if Tomo and Jun starts dating, she'll loose Tomo again. Let me know what you guys think or if you agree with one of our views.
