Back in 1995, Mitsubishi Motors dared to sell the first retractable hardtop car since Ford attempted the idea back in 1957. For the lucky few hundred owners, Mitsubishi delivered a Spyder Owner's box including a VHS with maintenance tips. Not a bad trade-off for spending $65,000 at the time.

The Mitsubishi Spyder was one of the few retractable hardtop convertibles that looked awesome both open and closed. Also, the segment showing how to raise the top manually if it malfunctions is giving me anxiety for the inevitable moment when the roof on my Pontiac G6 convertible decides to stop working.

If only Mitsubishi kept making cars this interesting today rather than just doing cheap uninteresting crossovers today.

While I can't say much about the 3000GT, however, word is that Mitsubishi wants to resurrect the Evo...and NOT as an SUV or hybrid, but rather a high performance sedan or hatchback.

I wish I was born a little older the prices of these skyrocketed because the sad boys on tiktok ruling everything by yhe time I get a license it would be out of my reach
