As you probably know melcloud has been down there for about a week. Ive tried numerous times to reconnect using the WPS way and also using the SDDI & KEY method to no avail. Only think i can see different is at the start my unit light is on constantly and not flashing. Cant see any other reason why its not connecting. Ive followed both ways and nothing. Any help or tips please ? Many thanks

If you use the MELCloud App to set up Timer Controls for your heating system, then this effects effects any Timer Settings you may have already set up on the Main Controller panel/screen that comes with the system - On the app in the Timer Controls settings screen it says: “This timer allows you to configure a weekly schedule of events for your systems. It is separate to the 24-hours timer that may be built into the system; if you wish to use this timer, we recommend you switch off the built-in timer.” Not 100% sure, but I’m guessing from this it means the MELCloud Timer Settings effectively override whatever temperature would otherwise kick in from those set locally ? - Hence the recommendation to switch off the built-in timer ? However it’s not clear to me what “switch off” actually means, and whether you ‘Delete’ the timer programme information you may have set up locally, and also which ‘Operating Mode’ you leave your heating set on at the local, Main Control panel - i.e. Operating (►), Prohibited, or Timer mode. Provided the wireless controller has an internet connection, does this mean MELCloud Timer settings will even switch on your heating and set the temperature even if locally it’s NOT in Timer Operating Mode, or even switched off (‘Prohibited’), or do you have to leave it on/running in ‘Operating’ mode for MELCloud to take control of it? Frankly, even though I consider myself to be a bit of a geek and fairly tech savvy, I think the instructions that come with the system or the resources Mitsubishi put out online are far from clear on many simple, practical issues and it’s left assuming installers will let you know everything you need. Mine didn’t sadly, but what about DIY’ers or those who want to change things later?

Hi, I recently had power cut and also changed my internet provider, I discovered my Melcloud on my phone stopped giving me the data. How do I reset or get my Melcoud giving me the data and control again. Much appreciated.

We've moved into a house with this exact hardware. We've adopted the account from the previous owners, and can log into the app. But the bastard system won't connect to our WiFi router like you show with the mode button. The data hasn't been updated on the app for over 3 months now.

Clear as mud. The instructions do not show much on this video. Far better to write a,set of clear instructions. This does not work on my system

How did you connect the wifi adapter to the unit? Is it compatible with every hydrobox?

Seems to be a common oversight … loads of tutorials on melcloud and such. Hardly anything on the physical connection of wifi unit. Did you ever find it?
