From 4th to 5th the gap is too far, the rpm drop too much.

For 1, the drop on RPM is pretty big. Drops to below 5k. The other reason is that the boost is full and causes a bit of strain on the internals and some people who push more power and boost than stock get too scared that something's gonna give. I push my Evo in 5th, but most who push more than 400hp don't wanna take that risk. These cars aren't exactly reliable
