In this video i will show you how to replace a transfer box rear output seal on a 2004 mk3 Mitsubishi Shogun Pajero 3.2 DID and how to top up oil / replaced oil.
Here is the seal i used ebay.us/IC5x6L

Just finished mine and saw leaks after i drove off to the shops.. stupid me, realised i put the seal the other way around. All done now.

Good day. On a 1997 Pajero 3.5 Automatic with the torque converter seal MD707575 NBR nitrile rubber, how does one change that?

Did you find any play / movement on the rear output shaft that could have caused premature wear to the out put seal?

No my shaft was in good order bit it is a good note for people to check, thank you for your input

The car you are working on i am guessing is manual gearbox right as you mentioned to use the same oil in the transmission. I understand what you mean because you can only put that oil in a gearbox but other viewers might put it into a automatic car a you mentioned transmission. Please let the viewers know what you mean. It’s a TRANSFER CASE. MK3 is all AUTOMATIC

Hey mate is the rear seal same as the front seal for the transfer case?
