Brand : Mitsubishi VRF
model : PUHY-P350YHM
Trouble shooting with computer and adapter.
Found outdoor unit thermistor TH5
(acummulator)reading adnormal.
Aircon no blinking and no error.
customer complain air con not cold.
In this video , will show you what is the reading at the computer and what is the reading measurements using multi meter,
and the faulty thermistor reading and the new thermistor reading.
The normal reading for TH 5 at computer is below 10 ,if the reading more than 50, suggest using multi meter to check the thermistor reading at outdoor condensing unit.

VRF thermistor reading normally is 4k ohms by ambient temperature around 30c

By the books, the manufacturer do not recommend to top up on exisitng R410A. Because R410A is a mixture of 2 different refrigerant, a top up may cause an imbalance in the mixture. However, a full replacement will be very expensive. Which is why the market still top up R410A regardless. A top up is still doable and a possible solution, however the refrigerant may not reach it's highest efficiency after. Mitsubishi does not have an autocharge system. What you can do is to do a deep switch setting and check the compressor temperature from the 7 segments. The reading should be between 85-90 degree Celsius.
