Given there are 4 different grinds, although not in all lofts, I would’ve appreciated a breakdown of each grind and it’s design intent concerning lie conditions, swing type, ie angle of attack, etc

Seen them in the flesh last weekend and they are lovely looking clubs. I got my T20s back in May so can’t justify a change just yet but Mizuno are my wedge of choice so these will find there way in at some point.

Best test/review videos in the world. Getting fit in 16 days, 7 hours, 29 minutes and 10 seconds Definitely excited to try some things out wedge wise and get dialed the Freak in with Mikey. Probably should stop messing with my swing for the next couple weeks.

If I didn’t have MD5’s in the bag these would be first pick. Really that’s based on performance in the wet + raw as a no up charge option. I play Mizuno MP18SC so they would match which is an added bonus.

Just got my denim copper T22 wedges last week! They feel great and Mizuno's lead time, in the US, is only 3 weeks! So much better than most of the other name brands out there for custom orders! I was very surprised at the slightly smaller head size compared to my RTX4 wedges. Gotta love it for scoring clubs.

Take this performance and then make the the back of the wedge just a cursive mizuno stamp with minimal to no other badging and is throw them in the bag. Shelf appeal seems to be the final adjustment to make them sell out off the shelves

Hey guys! Could you do a 50* comparison? Cleveland RTX 50* vs. Srixon ZX5 A-wedge. Show how two-50* clubs may offer a different result and allow the player the see what kind of feel they like? Another cool one would be the difference between a wedge shaft and a iron graphite shaft in a wedge. What are the pros and cons between shafts.

Play c taper lite x in irons, is stock shaft ok or should I have same shafts as irons put in these wedges?
@BP23BP23
@BP23BP23 2 года назад
I play the c taper lite S in my irons and liked the stock True Temper S400 in my T22 wedges. Slightly heavier than the c tapers, but I feel the heavier shafts provide better feedback and accuracy. The C Taper lite is great for full swings and distance, but I feel that doesn’t resonate well with wedges. Just my opinion though, it’s all subjective! Lol

I want to try these. Can someone translate my Vokey Grinds. I use a 50 F Grind, 54 S Grind and 58 D Grind (sand wedge)
@wallstreetoneil
@wallstreetoneil 2 года назад
- Vokey F (Full) and Vokey S (Sand - but also full with trailing edge relief) - is the Mizuno S (Straight Sole - minimal heel&toe relief) -Vokey D is a more aggressive Vokey M - by more aggressive I mean it generally has more bounce for steeper hitters but also has similar heel&toe relief - so if you play on really plush wet courses and want more bounce but relief that is on an M - Mizuno's version of this is their D and C grinds - where they are similar but the C has more heel&toe relief than the D - thus I think D is more like the Vokey D and C is like the Vokey M - Vokey L is the Mizuno X - these are the low bounce options for Pros and players very good on tight lies on firm courses - or for very shallow swingers

Played a set of the T20, had to ditch them because they felt so hard and clicky. Beautiful wedges, but with these (T21) also being made with boron, I'm sure they also feel harsh.

Couldn’t help but notice this comment. Absolutely certain there are no more than 5 golfers on the planet who could feel a difference between mild carbon steel and boron infused ….if the shape is the same.
@B58FTW
@B58FTW 2 года назад
@@mizunogolf1906 Been at it 27 years, as low as +2. Took 6 wedges from other manufactures to test against them. Loved the shape, but on half shots and around the green they were very clicky. Almost like the ball was bouncing off the face like a rock. Very unusual for Mizuno in my experience, dating back to my TZoid Pro’s as a teenager.
@mizunogolf1906
@mizunogolf1906 2 года назад
@@B58FTW what you feel is what you feel ..very personal. More likely than not will have been the aggressive weight distribution in the T20 upper blade that gave the sensation you describe. It's scaled back in the T22.....so you might assess you still don't like the feel. We just don't want Boron to get the blame. It gets a little misunderstood.
