I love the Mizuno Wave R Pro and managed a PR last weekend at the Newport 10K. It is the first time I haven't worn an Asics racing shoe. I, too, would like a comparison with this and the Saucony Endorphin Pro 3 but either way thanks for all your coverage of the Rebellion Pro as your longer review sold it to me immediately!

Thanks Nick. This Mizuno is very intriguing. After this years London I will be in the market for a new pair of race carbon plated trainers. Currently I race in Nike Vaporfly Next&2 and Saucony Endorphin Pro 3 (I'm not sure which to wear for London yet!!) but comparisons with the Mizuno would be of interest especially as the Vaporly Next %3 is due soon. I have previously raced in New Balance RC Elite 2 and so I'm also looking at the SC Elite 3 and a Vs video between the Mizuno and the NB SC would be of interest.

Wave Rebillion Pro and Saucony Endorphin Pro 3 comparison. I ran my fastest mile ever in the Endorphin Pro 3. I might love the Wave Pro. I ran in the wave Rebellion and loved it too it was just a little too firm to keep going. Now I use the wave Rebellion for running off-road.

I know everyone is waiting for the comparison with the Vaporfly Next%3 but given that they seem to be a bit different from v2 and now that v2 is on a huge discount, I would really love to see a comparison with the Vaporfly Next%2 as well 🙏

The Mizuno will surely get even better as new versions are released in the next few years, it looks like a serious threat to the other super shoes on the market

Just got a pair of the Mizuno, excited to try them out, currently deciding between the Alphafly Next%1 and Vaporfly Next%2 but wondering if the Mizuno could be a contender

I guess a vs with the Saucony Elite would be the one I’d like to see

I had to go a full size up with the mizunos unfortunately but still a fantastic shoe

Really keen to try something like this... but I have wide feet, with a big big-toe-knuckle (arthritis), and there don't seem to be great options out there for 4E wide... :( Reluctant to go up in size, as it may not sort the problem, and also can start to mean my foot's in the "wrong place" for the geometry (esp. MWR). Very few outlets where I can go and try these in East Anglia, UK! Interesting vid though - thanks! X

Hi Nick. Do you recommend me Mizuno Wave Rebellion, if I already have Nike Vaporfly Next% 2? Is it worth it? Thank you very much!

Metaspeed sky plus versus misuno please

As someone who has problems with the alphafly v1 bump in the arch, which would you recommend?

Ben is running made a great review about mizunos, long story short it’s only for people that run marathon in 2:45h or faster, also it’s really specific shoe meant to be run really fast in it, so basicaly only races, its not even good for long runs, unlike alpha fly which is more forgiving at “slower” paces then the one mentioned

True. We need to know the purpose of shoes before buying them

Nah, that’s his opinion. Doesn’t mean it’s true. I would try it yourself before making judgments
@DreTheChronic

But why would it need to be good for slower runs... it's an elite racing shoe.

@@RunForPeace-hk1cu you can't just try it, you have to buy it. and these shoes are pretty expensive. you can't race a marathon and return the shoe if you don't like it. if this is what you mean by "i would try it". where i live they won't accept your return unless the shoe has a defect. that's why we watch these reviews, because it's not an option to try all these shoes ourselves.

Got the Wave Rebellion Pro an hour ago in the Kakizome color at last. Went up half a size.. I am 43 in Saucony.. Nike.. New Balance.. But Mizuno in 27.5 cm says 42.5.. But since I have wide feet and some (not you) advice going up half a size I did. They fit amazing. Enough room in the midfoot and toebox.. Do seem a half size long but I think going TTS would crush my toes. I did notice that the tongue keeps bunging up on one side when I put them on.. Of course it's the add on.. They saw the sticker with the size to the side of the tongue.. Why not put it like a sticker.. So I cut this out.. Problem solved. Walking around the house feels super strange. Like having a tennis ball under your arches.. I already did my run in the morning so I will run in them tomorrow morning for the first time.. My question.. I have the Stryd hard Fartlek workout tomorrow.. 10 x 1. 5 minutes at 108% CP.. How suitable is it for sprints? To high? To unstable?

I ordered Mizuno rebellion pro and it hasn't arrived yet. Do you think Rebellion pro is as good as aplhafly and adios 3 pro? I can cancel my order and buy nike or adidas. what are your experiences?

Please compare (or respond to my message 🙂) the Wave Rebellion Pro to Asics' MetaSpeed Edge+. For me, the Edge+ doesn't have enough cushion and I've heard that it's because of the plate position (as opposed to the Sky version). I'm a mid-foot striker with a higher cadence, and believe the Mizuno would suit my need for speed, but your testing opinion would be greatly appreciated before I open up my wallet!

🙈 Stop tempting me Nick 😂 Still awaiting delivery of my Endorphin Elite and now thinking this may have been the better option (£180 v £252). With my current PBs for 5k, 5 miles and 10k in Alphafly v1 (despite only running 39 miles in it and then selling it due to the arch issues) and my Half and Marathon PBs both in Metaspeed Sky what I hear about the Wave Rebellion Pro is really tempting me. Might the Wave Rebellion Pro provide any arch issues potentially too?
@TheRunTesters
@TheRunTesters Год назад
Haha it is a lovely shoe, but the Elite is also very quick! I’ve had no arch problems with the Mizuno at all. That said, I could sometimes feel it in Alpha 1 but it was never that bad or long-lasting for me

@@TheRunTesters I couldn't resist when I saw that someone had got a 15% discount on them I have ordered them this morning for £169.99 Too tempting with hopefully a little birthday 🎈🎂💷💸 money to come next week 😂 Should see me set for most of the year.
