Here’s a little story to the dangerous album from the Los Angeles Times: Michael Jackson’s heavily promoted “Dangerous” album, considered one of the hottest commodities in the record business, became hot in another sense early Wednesday when robbers stole 30,000 copies of the yet-to-be-released recording from a warehouse at Los Angeles International Airport. Three robbers using a gun, a forklift and a truck hauled away several pallets loaded with cartons of the recordings from the Profit Freight warehouse in the 5700 block of Arbor Vitae Street, said Los Angeles Police Detective H. Davis. He speculated that stolen copies of “Dangerous"--not scheduled to be sold in stores until Tuesday--are now available on the street “at a discount.” Sue Satriano, a spokeswoman for Sony Music Entertainment, which is marketing Jackson’s album on the Epic Records label, said 30,000 CDs, cassettes and long-playing records were stolen, and placed the retail value of the loss at between $250,000 and $300,000. This is a Story a lot of People don’t know about lol! Just wanted to share another Story with Y’all! Dangerous is the third Song that I’ve heard from Michael when I was little! My mom used to play it at least 30 times a day, lol! Please react to his They Don’t Care About Us ( Prison Version ) and Earth Song MV's! 🤍
Oh wow! That is legit a fascinating story. Damn! That's insane! The fandom is nuts! Your mom is amazing! This song is an absolute monster! In my opinion it's one of MJ's best songs he's ever crafted. Everything about it is just peak MJ! The beat especially. I love it! I love the piano mixed in with the drums. It adds an eerie vibe to it. We're definitely going to react to those songs in the future. I think we might detour from the "Dangerous" album just to go back to "HIStory" for a bit! Thank you so much for watching! Always so amazing to interact with you
Great reaction guys! Such a good song and such an amazing album. Every MJ album has this, but this album just feels so fresh and the production is so next level. I mean, I love 90s music, in fact most of my fav music is from the 90s, but this just sounds so much newer and just from another time. It's insane, and this album is full of amazing songs and is imo the perfect balance of classic and ''new'' MJ. Aka, the perfect bridge between Bad MJ and HIStory MJ (an album I hope you guys will do more of in the future as well). And careful Brown when you guys are gonna react to his live concerts, because at this point I wouldn't be surprised if MJ actually stole your girl. haha
My man! Always good to hear from you! This song is something else. Something holy yet dark with this track. I can't explain it properly. MJ definitely created something of pure hype and magic with this track. Oh man, everyday she's falling in love with MJ more and more! Thank you so much for the comment! Much love from the both of us
Completely agree. Dangerous is magical for me. Especially for songs like Heal the world, Will you be there, Gone too soon, Who is it, Give into me, but also upper beat songs like Dangerous, Remember the time, Black or White, Keep the faith. It's just perfect for me. The dance routine for this song is legendary. He was way ahead of his time .Even today you still don't see performances like that. While on Dangerous album you definitely have to watch performances he did during this era. His Super Bowl from 1993, his first Dangerous performance at American Music Awards in 1993, his performance for Clinton Inaugural Gala, and the MTV 10th aniversarry where he performed for the first time songs from Dangerous (I know you saw Will you be there, but didn't see the performance for Black or White). Also, it would be better if you watch them entirely, after you already reacted to all the songs in them. Yeah, always a pleasure to see you guys react to Michael.
This album really is such a beautiful and magical album! The fact that every song carries such a huge weight of treasure just shows how timeless and masterful this album is! Every song has its own story and can be a #1 hit. MJ definitely went all-out for this album. Such incredible masterpieces placed on 1 single album... absolutely 🔥🔥🔥 And MJ's dancing throughout this era is just so above and beyond anything. It's so aggressive and so stealth at the same time. We all witnessed something vey special with this album. Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment! Always great to see you in the comments
I agree with all of your comments about Dangerous. Dangerous is his best album and probably his best song. It's the one song I can listen to over and over again without getting bored. And yes, Teddy Riley is the best producer MJ worked with.
The song "Dangerous" is just so otherworldly! It's such a spiritual journey with this song. MJ just knows how to create magic in that studio And Teddy Riley really helped MJ elevate his game!
Always love the reactions. Also recommend listening to the early version of Dangerous off of the Ultimate Collection. Completely different song originally. Same lyrics, different sound. It’s from 1989 so it has a late 80s vibe to it.
Definitely looking that album up1 And for sure! I think once she's exposed to more of the MJ songs, we'll definitely tackle his unreleased/demos! Thank you so much for the recommendation!
Ive always really admired the fact that almost no two songs on Dangerous sounds the same - Jam is different from Remember the time, remember the time is different from Black or white, Black or white is different from Keep the faith (one of my favs from the album), and Keep the faith could not be more different to Give in to me! The variety and versatility on this album is the thing i love most about it, it shows his true creativity and really made me respect Michaels skills as a composer and songwriter (along with Teddy Riley and the likes of Bill Bottrell and others). Ive actually gone through a phase recently of listening to the early demo version of Dangerous - which is also incredible and i love it every bit as much as the album version 🙂 It just adds a different flavour to the song! I totally agree the world was robbed of the short film that could have been for Dangerous! There are a number of MJ songs i would have loved to have seen a short film for and Dangerous is definitely on that list! It would have been amazing! As always a great discussion guys! 🙂
100% agree with you. Tis album s so unique and adds such a diverse theme to each sound. But, somehow the album still carries a distinct and cohesive sound. I don't know how MJ did it, but, he created such a beautiful and captivating album! If the "Dangerous" song ever received a music video, it would have been such a "Smooth Criminal" type of video (at least how I can imagine it haha). Thank you so much for your comment!
@@honey.brown.nerdrealm I think youre right, it would have had a similar aesthetic to Smooth criminal as it kinda fits with the lyrics of the song 🙂I definitely think Michael clearly liked or was fascinated by 1920s prohibition-era gangster imagery/aesthetic - he had several songs and demos that reference it, such as, as you say, the smooth criminal video, but also songs like Al Capone, blue gangsta and the video for you rock my world etc, it was a recurring theme in his music and short films which i find very interesting 🙂
@@raspberryripple88 Ugh, it truly brings me a bit of sadness that we couldn't truly see MJ's vision in a video form for this song. The song itself is such a long odyssey of a song. To see a video accompany it (and you MJ would have went all out for it!) would have been ace!
@@honey.brown.nerdrealm same here, its a song that is crying out for a music video and it is such a shame that he didn't get to bring that vision to life. I do always try and look on the positive and Im always grateful for the art that he did create, but it is sad to think of all the art that Michael wanted to create that he never got the chance to - the dangerous video, the plans he had for the invincible album that got railroaded by Sony, and even the This is it shows that sadly never happened. There is whole section of Michaels career (and his life in general) that is a 'what could have been' if he hadnt had to deal with - frankly- greedy people.
When he says " Dangerous" , it Seriously felt like an Explosion 🔥 incredible Energy . Eagerly Waiting for : 1.Gone to Soon (stage performance) 2.Little Susie 3.Super bowl Performance Don't Miss these guys...Been waiting for Long time
Such an animalistic way he says it as well! Definitely! We will be reacting to those in the future. Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment!
1st! (Definitely y’all gotta React to MJ Performing “Dangerous” for the first time ever at the 1993 American Music Awards he performs the entire track their it’s one of my favs Ever! From Mike)
Lol i literally just commented about the AMA performance after you. I agree that performance was legendary, every one of MJ's moves were so precise and clean
Hi honey & brown. Great reaction video. Thanks so much for this one of my favorites of MJ's creations, the Dangerous album's title song is so awesome, the beat and the lyrics really get you. Yes there was controversy when the album came out - even the album cover brought controversy and there is still some about the cover. But MJ was willing to make a bold move and change his music to a different level of what came before with Quincy Jones. Michael moved away from that era and brought in a different sound and I guess you can say genre. There are different versions of Dangerous songs. I love the rap in the beginning - there are hints of his memory of women in his past (divinity in motion - I'm sure was Diana) but there are so many songs about her Including Remember The Time and Dirty Diana. The early version of this song is just as good - I love his intro where you hear the sounds like a city subway. I can't really choose between them. Up until the This Is It rehearsal, Michael Jackson changed it up another notch each time he planned to perform it. It changed from Dangerous Tour to History Tour and later when he performed in Michael and Friends concerts - the performance is never quite the same - he changes his ad libs, moves etc. So I have several Dangerous videos - performance mixes and video mixes with other RU-vid creators. I hope you get to watch them at your leisure. Its a favorite of my videos for me to watch. Honey - I totally get how you feel. Michael is magic - how can we not love him. My husband is jealous because I do so much with Michael's music in my videomaking. He is a fan of the music though - I'll say that much... Thanks again for another great reaction. I have to also tell you I love the new intro theme in your videos - very nice - and the thumbs and visuals you use with the uploads are so creative-- the art is so lovely to look at. Hope you two have a great week -- looking forward to the next MJ reaction video. God bless you and stay well 🙏🙏 Michael is King of Pop forever and forever innocent 🙏🙏 Lets keep his music and legacy alive forever ❤❤

@@honey.brown.nerdrealm Hi again my dear friends, you're very welcome and thank you for your reply. You guys are amazing too and what you have done to share is really appreciated. Honey, you are so talented - thank you for those beautiful works of art you add to your videos - I'm certain Michael would have been so pleased as he was an artist himself and loved to draw since his childhood years. Michael always showed his appreciation for the fans exhibits of art they presented to him and collected many from them. Your works of art are just exquisite and so beautifully capture Michael's essence and emotions. 🥰🥰♥♥ Thanks for watching more on my channel. I just posted another video - the one I promised on Human Nature 🥰🥰 hope you enjoy...I wish you both a lovely weekend and again look forward to more of your wonderful reaction videos. God bless and keep you two well always 🙏🙏 Michael Jackson is forever in our hearts and we will keep his memory and legacy alive ❤❤ Forever the King of Pop and forever innocent 🙏🙏👑👑
This whole album was like nothing at the time. You had New jack Swing artist around like Bobby Brown and Paula Abdul but MJ took it further. Yes he had Teddy Riley but MJ still had a vision that he wanted them beats hard and heavy. The bass heavy. It's such a departure musically for MJ and it was a massive success. I think it was set to rival Thriller in its pre orders or something.
This is the pure definition of creating a masterpiece and something that will truly stand the test of time. Such an aggressive and urban version for MJ at this period. The one that truly stands out for me are the lyrics throughout this album. So dark and raw. So personal and honest. We all witnessed apex MJ during the "Dangerous" era! Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment! Much love from the both of us
u guys def have too watch and react too the 1993 american music awards performance of this song dangerous its soooo good and amazing its a def must react too for u both too do! this song is bananas that beat drops and its over its soo insanely good it hits soo hard its sooo next level its 1 of the best r&b hard hitting funky up tempo dance tracks that michael ever did this song is 1 of michael and teddy riley's greatest works together that they did ! this song is wickedly good and amazing it just knocks ur socks off and i love it def a beast of a track! i remember my older brother playing this song in his car and blasting this track and he had a really good sound system in his car too and this song would just give the speakers a workout it was soo loud and banging i was bopping my head the whole time while watching ur guys reaction too it lol u cant help it the beat is insane! great vid my friends love and support too u both keep up the great job i wish u guys were able too upload a new video once a week lol hopefully u can work out a schedule that will allow u guys too upload videos a lil more often that would be great!
We just recorded that 1993 AMA performance! Spoiler alert: WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've truly never seen something so spectacular. We can't wait to upload it! This beat should be illegal on how hard it hits you! It has such a dark aura behind the instruments. And the piano just adds such an emotional factor to it! Your bother is an MVP!!! Love it! We're definitely pushing to upload more! We love you guys and we're so blessed and thankful that even though we're not as consistent right now, you all still show us such love! That means so much to us. With work and everything, it's hard. But, we are definitely committed to uploading more often. Next week we're uploading 2 MJ reactions. And we're going to strive to be more consistent. Because you guys deserve it! We love the comments and how much people like you really notice us and really are invested in this journey. So, thank you! Thank you for always watching and leaving such warm and thoughtful comments! We appreciate you so much! 🔥
Definitely! That's pure 🔥 💯 This entire album is an absolute treasure! Thank you so much for watching and for your comment. Much love from the both of us!
This song is amazing.. just like your guys reaction. I appreciate that you respond to every comment😊 you guys should do the full thriller short movie. (If she has not seen it)
Thank you so much! Truly. We are so blessed to even have a community to interact with. You all are so special to the both of us. Oh definitely! We will be tackling the entire "Thriller" album!
Fans were so desperate to get this album that they broke into the warehouse and stole thousands of copies before it make it to the stores. Lol. Dangerous is my 2nd favorite album after history, and at one point in my life I was obsessed with this song that I had to listen to it at least 2 times a day. (Guys I m still rooting for you to react to watzup with you by Eddie Murphy ft MJ😂, it’s from Dangerous era).
Hahaha... wow! Really? That's incredible. "Dangerous" era just hits on a whole other level that is hard to explain. But, it's just so holy (is the best way I can describe it!). We'll definitely react to that soon! We're just on a "Dangerous" high right now haha! But, we're adding it to the list. Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment
Such a great song, I know you reacted to the MTV performance but I've always thought the 1993 AMA performance was so much better because it wasn't remixed and was closer to the original song minus 1 verse. Check it out you won't regret it. ❤👍🏻
For so long since I was like 5 years old I always wanted hair like MJ in Remember the Time and just the bad/dangerous era in general. Long black wavy locks. I went for it a few years ago and I got it now. I mix it up. I also do some of MJ’s straight hair styles. It’s whatever. My hair is straight naturally so I like to mix it up with MJ as my inspiration or Pinterest or google or maybe just my wife saying hey this looks better.
Oh for sure! I think once we're done with the majority of the songs from this album, we'll cap it off with an entire concert performance/reaction! Thank you so much for watching and taking time out to write a comment!
@@honey.brown.nerdrealm If you need the Full Concert in 4K Full Quality I got you I’ll send it in the DM’s just give me the queue😉✍🏽💯(Y’all should also do MJ’s 1992 MTV Dangerous Diary it was a special that was shown on MTV and was a in depth look of MJ’s Dangerous Tour etc. and his 1993 Grammys Speech)
