I hate DA because they want to sell us to the West, Israel etc. But the DA does the job at the regional level... so now IEC says I voted for DA to be my government nationally. I did not do that

@@godfreybuthelezi2479 I think it's pretty obvious that MK Party is going to lose because for there to be a revote, given the cost to run that and the implications on all of the other Parties who are happy with the results, and I'm not even referring to the ANC, DA, EFF and IFP, the MK Party can't just show social media videos of alleged issues here and there, they'll have to prove that there was widespread, gross negligence on the part of the IEC in the running of the elections as a whole. They also have to prove that the MK Party would have won substantially more votes that would have resulted in more seats within the National Assembly. The MK Party doesn't have that evidence otherwise they would have launched legal action a day or two after the elections. All they likely have are videos showing issues that also happened when Zuma won the election as President of the ANC, and all other parties accepted those results. What the general public doesn't understand, and what Zuma is banking on because he wants to stir up emotion, is that the IEC doesn't promise and can't prevent any misconduct or issues during elections, but what they promise and are entrusted with is to ensure that on the whole there are no issues that materially affect the running and the outcome of the elections. That's the same policy of any organisation around the world running elections. The MK Party is asking for a revote based on some areas that had issues, well that's normal for all 30 years of democratic elections and democratic elections around the world - the International Court will advise them of such. The IEC is arguing that even with those isolated cases, it wouldn't have made a significant or worthy difference to the results of the MK Party. In effect, a revote will have the same result or maybe even weaken the MK Party's position, but it will cost the taxpayers millions of rands to run and cost the economy millions of rands of not trading on the day. It makes South Africa worse for it. Not everyone sees or understands the bigger picture, which is exactly my point of informed voters vs voters who vote because they like a particular person and follow that person blindly
