What's crazy is, I think Raiden's "above head" electrocution fatality is based on some of the rediscovered sprites from the source code dump (such as Johnny Cage's "brain basher"). Basically stuff that had to get the boot due to memory constraints (hence why they just went to the "exploding uppercut" fatality to reuse sprites and save memory).

Mk2 is a definite must have. I remember 94 i was dying to own it but ended up getting it that Christmas. It was the coolest Christmas gift on snes. Mk3 in 95 was good as well mk1 is just the first of all. All was good with that trilogy.

Every MK MUGEN game is on steroids, bro. 😆 Anyway, it's unfortunate that the developers of MK2R display arrogant behavior in private, belittling others within the MK MUGEN community, including me. The MK2R development team threw shade towards my build of MK2U in the past due to it's graphics and visuals still resembling the vanilla game. I play video games for their gameplay, not looks. Although MK2R is a great MUGEN project, I prefer to play mine (MK2U) as it helps me enhance my skills due to the AI opponents being programmed to play like human players, which is the approach I take when coding AI for MUGEN characters. Unlike majority of the MK MUGEN community, I prioritize gameplay and AI when working on MUGEN characters, rather than just focusing on graphics and visuals. The MK2R team could learn a thing or two from my approach, real talk!

It wouldve been nice if reptile was fixed to trees stage. It matches and would make sense to fight him there.

This Game looks like modded great MK2 from Mega DriveVersion. By like little withoud Kombos becouse is strategic Match up. Will be also good for Online Rank Match like Streetfighter.

I think a cool story idea to go with you using friendship in front of Shao Khan before Kintaro fight is this: Shao Khan has invited you to the tournament finals to show a brutal bloody fight to the death to the masses. However when you go against his plan and instead of performing a fatality, you perform a friendship. Khan gets so angered by your refusal to follow his plan and disrespect, that he decides "Your presence is unwanted, kill him Kintaro!" Like in this version of the story, had you performed the fatality per Shao's desire, you would have been rewarded the title of Champion of Mortal Kombat instead.
