Is a vent to atmosphere catch can really needed? I just have a closed catch can loop that goes back into the inlet. Chasing bugs on a 1.8t ive manual swapped and sauced abit, hybrid k04s, massive FMIC.
Thanks for the quick reply the intake boot is plugged up I’ll go back through and recheck all my vacuum lines and see about that o2 sensor I’m at work today but I’ll check it out tomorrow and get back to you, thank you!
@@nathanielhalliday4852 you'll almost definitely get a few codes if you do a delete like this without coding stuff out in the ECU, in addition to your emissions monitors not passing
@@cmdrtoast9729 anyway to pass emissions in NYS? Bought a Mk4 and the previous owner did a EVAP / SAI delete and I am having trouble passing emissions.
Hey that code has no hinder on your performance as it is just a code for your SAI pump. It’s just telling your car that it’s not activating. You can have your car tuned out for that or you can simply plug the sai back in and trick the system. You can also contact the company that you bought the kit from and see if they can send you new resistors
I have received your serious reply, yes, you are right. It does not affect normal operation, but it has been bothering me. I will contact the kit company to inquire if there is a resistor. Thank you very much for your reply. Thank you again.@@jacobMMotorsport
@user-qw5ev6gy6k yeah no problem let me know how it goes! There are some videos online on how you can make your own resistors if it comes down to that !
I have found the corresponding production video. Thank you for your guidance, brother. This has been confusing me for a long time. Thank you for your patient response and correct guidance. I think my Bora R has a corresponding solution.@@jacobMMotorsport
I have a P0411 code also. Can I just put a resistor in and leave the rest plugged in or will that screw it up. Newbie question as I havent played around in my VW for a long time. I dont really want to go through and delete the whole thing if I dont have to.
@Jacob M Motosport okay thanks I'm assuming that it would be basically the same on my car I have a audi a4 1.8t and I'm assuming you could clear the code with a reader
@@Sky_vulpes yup no problem I’m still working on the car and I’ll be making a more in depth about it so if you have any questions I’ll answer them in the next video
