@@jameeljames1092 yup, you know it man. I played some mkx it was alright, good fun, but it didn't feel the same way without dash blocking. Even tho the run mechanic was from the original games, mk9 still felt like THE game to me. Legit pressure and mindgames, not just 50/50 guessing all day. And then mk11 came out, i just watched a couple of videos, saw the breakaway bullshit and didn't even bother. I hope we get a remake of mk9 (there's been some rumors about that) or a new mk game in the same style.
I love how smoke wasn't even intended to be played like this, but xsmokex was just absolutely fearless with the character, turned him into a pressure machine. Getting in the face of johnny cages and kabals? No problem! Just pure aggression. Love it!

these smoke resets are op first one is 70% and second one even more thats only from 2 bars , people bitchin about Quan who does 45% of 3 bars if blocked and one of the slowest characters with worst wake up in the game lol
for everyone bitching about the reset, yah its a fucked up thing in the game.. BUT that being said, it's not even closest to the most fucked up thing in the game. There are a ton of bs glitches and smoke doesnt have the only unblockable reset. Jax has one, Cyrax has one that is 100% reliable also he has non breakable ones that lead to like 60%. As a smoke player myself i'm not gonna down play smoke not being good cuz he is good, but his reset is far from easy to consistently hit. the spot for the f4 changes each ammount of hits in the combo because of gravity scaling. also it depends where on the map you are because the corner is another variable in it. And you have to look at the risk reward compared to other resets in the game that are guaranteed with practice. Smoke buries himself by wasting a bar of meter if he misses it. It's a complete gamble most of the time. if you miss it you lost a bar of meter and might not have breaker for when u get caught. If you hit it, if they werent completely empty on meter when u started the combo they have 1 bar built from the first combo before the reset so chances are they have breaker anyway.
But Jax has to be close and it's not like super hard, and Cyrax is always reliable with some training, but smoke's reset. Gotta tell you timing is the key, and you have to watch where the smoke cloud it's gonna land and when. For me it's the most difficult. I'm a smoke player by the way.
Bryan A. Long-Khoy Laiza has nothing to do with the smokebomb it's all dependant on the f4 and where you hit it at / with how much gravity scaling (number or hits) in the combo. the smokebomb is gonna cancel the same time no matter what with f4 link.
I said smoke cloud that's the enhanced for doing the reset. And yeah absolutely it does depend on the roller coaster kick, but also on the smoke cloud. Less or more delay can fuck the reset up.
Yah it does a lot of damage, but it's very hard to pull it off. The timing on the f4 has to be perfect and the timing is different for all types of set ups.
Tiers change a lot as people begin to learn how to play previously underestimated chars.I dont believe in the tier system. 16 bit owned with Kano (who is considered the lowest of low tiers).
i actually think he's really hard to use. the timing for his smoke bomb when an opponent in in air is very tight plus punishable teleport and no damaging projectile. i suck with him but any character can be good if uses right
