8:27 is too fucking awesome of a moment. The fight is as even as it gets, and Smoke is getting pressured unlike the rounds before. This was the first time Smoke had to use the parry, and he executed it perfectly -- And then the glitch! What a fulfillment!
CDJr's Kabal got beat in grand finals last year at EVO by PL's Kung Lao. REO lost too. No, he's not easy. He has the most difficult inputs in the game, and you have to have an extreme amount of matchup and frame data knowledge to make it with him in high level play. If you think he's easy and you also think you're even close to being as good with him as REO, Jr, and PL are, you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
Kabal is definely the hardest character to play with, his nomad dash cancel pressure is extremelly hard to do,and his instant air gas blast are hard as hell too.Kabal in a high level is the cheapest and the strongest character in the game.
There's a big difference between learning a character's combos and getting good with that character. I'm gonna assume your Kabal pressure and mind games are not on the same level as REO. And no, doing the 2~ndc cancels as a carry is hard as hell. Kabal is probably the most technically demanding character in this game. Missing one iagb or ndc can mean getting ful comboed playing at a high level.
That was by far, the best smoke I've ever seen. He's also my main and I felt like I was pretty good with him until I saw this. Holy shit. Way to represent the smoke players man.

its not a glitch that happens when the person countered has delayed and then tried to do breaker. ive played all the time and ive caused people to break on the counter delay and it does the stun stand

Well, I'm actually a smoke player. It's not easy but if you master him it's awesome. Harder moves are reset and anti-airborne attacks. His main juggle are (for xbox) A, down+X, Y / Y, X, B/ A, Y/ back+Y, A. And you've gotta know the roller-coaster kick (forward B), also the dash is necesary for connecting the combos. MOST IMPORTANT smoke cloud (back down+block+Y) is the key for reset.
I remember when this game came out and I mastered baraka then back in 2018 my cousin randomly got the game and challenged me and it turned really competitive because if you lost you gave up your controller so I just kept running through him his older brothers, and his little brother shit was so fun
kung lao's problem is that his attacks are mostly to high same with his teleport so you can easy uppercut him but he is the most mobile char in that game kabal is op yes but if you want a kab like reo or pl it needs years of training with him
People saying the game is broken is dumb. It's a fighting game in which you use what you can to win. People saying Kabal is broken is not correct. The level Reo plays Kabal is insane. If he were truly broken they would have nerfed him 18 months ago. When you have high level players using Kabal, Cyrax, Smoke etc. people start throwing out their broken and cheap and all that other crap. Recognize great game play and leave it at that. Great Smoke play again from that kid, very impressive.
