For Tyler. Twitter | / exeeditsmlb Instagram | / exeedits Facebook | / exeedits I do not own any of the clips that I upload. All clips belong to Major League Baseball.
They scored 7 in the first inning, 13 for the game. Tyler’s birthday was 7/13. The last time a no hitter was pitched in California was 7/13/1991, the day Tyler was born
June 28, 2008 against the Dodgers.....but the Angels lost 1-0. That was a combined no-hitter that I now realize doesn't count as a no-hitter because they didn't pitch the 9th inning, but then Jared Weaver threw a no-hitter in 2002 on his own. You're right though about a combined no-hitter in CA.
I know it's dumb, but Angles In The Outfield was just 2 days off from being released on his birthday, not trying to find coincidences, I just know it cause it was released on my buddies birthday
The fact that these guys immediately started to let out tears right when that video started says a lot about them. You can't wish for better teammates.
This was incredible. So sad that Skaggs had to leave us so soon. Imagine what would’ve happened if that walk hadn’t happened and it was a perfect game.
Only heard of Skaggs a few weeks ago, I’m British and live in England but have been fascinated with major league baseball for a while. This video made me cry. RIP 45.
As hard as it is when we lose someone, it's always incredible to see the effect it has on the league. In these moments, there aren't 30 teams, just one family. And we all mourn these losses together, as we're reminded how much the spirit of this game really means to us. Or y'know if you're wanting an even sappier cliche, how about: "We lost an Angel, but Heaven gained another." Something like that. Man, I'm gonna miss Tyler.
RIP Tyler Skaggs and RIP Nick Adenhart 2 amazing young angels pitchers who died way too young. At least for some time they were able to live out their dreams. The brotherhood of sports teams is truly a thing of beauty. You can tell how much the kid impacted this team.
The Munson game for the Yankees, the Fernandez game for the Marlins, and now the Skaggs game for the Angels. How can you not be romantic about baseball?
God Bless Tyler Skaggs, his family and the Angels. His mother is such a strong woman. I wanted to hug her she did an amazing job with that first pitch. It had to have been incredibly difficult.
Great performance by the Angels, on the field, and an even better tribute at the beginning and at the end of the rout, by placing all the jerseys on the mound. RIP Tyler Skaggs much love to the Angels from a die hard Twins fan.
This was the most emotional Game I’ve ever attended. From the second I walked in, the lows, the highs, it was draining. Being their with my family, and then hugging and celebrating with total strangers was amazing. This is what separates baseball from other sports
Wow, that pitch under these circumstances, this woman is a warrior. I wish them all the best in these horrific times, may many better days be in their future!
As a die hard ranger fan ..hard to cheer for another team..but all bets off on this one...WAY TO GO BOYS..you did the human race great... congrats on a great win..and wish all of you well on your healing process..even you Mike trout ..(stop hitting home runs on us!!!)...rip Tyler....
Whoever the six people who disliked this video doesn’t have a heart or any common sense I mean I’m a Sox fan and I feel bad dodger fans should feel for this. Everyone should feel for this Thanks for all the likes. And it doesn’t matter if he overdosed he will still be missed and loved you must have no heart
i was lucky to be there last night. The amount of love in the stadium last night was unlike anything ive ever seen. Tyler was there last night. You could feel him
I lost my brother to opiates the year prior to Tyler’s passing. I can’t imagine having to go in front of the country and keep my game face on just days later. I just cried for his family watching this 2years later. They knew they had a huge duty to the rest of us to bring this pandemic to light
What a wonderful tribute! Game couldn't have gone much better. My heart goes out to his family and the organization. Local kid and a class act...baseball definitely lost a good one 😞 RIP Skaggs from a Dodger Fan
I love baseball and the lore that goes with. I hate politics and the crap that goes with that. I dont need every tom, dick, and marys view on whats right and whats wrong. Im a navy veteran and im smart enough to form my own opinion on whos right or wrong. I bleed orange and black!! Orioles
Sometimes it is hard for people to wrap their heads around such an amazing coincidental moment... but was it really coincidental? He had to be out there throwing every pitch with them.
Maybe a coincidence maybe just fate of the Mariners. 4 times they were victim to no hitters. ANGELS pitchers Mark Langston and Mark Witt combined for a no hitter against Seattle in 1990,the Yankees Dwight Gooden did it in 96..why I bring the yanks into it is. Cuz at 14:06 of the video near the end u see a guy in the crowd wearing all yankee merchandise...curse of the Mariners maybe? One might ask. RIP Skaggs enjoy playing up in the real majors
Good god haven’t cried that hard in a while. How anyone could thumbs down this is beyond me. So powerful. Could not be more perfect of a night AT ALL for the family, players, fans and that city. It’s not by chance it was a no hitter. Are you kidding me?! He was there. No one can doubt it. Unbelievably powerful.
This to me kinda proves how sports transcend just being sports. Not just baseball but all American sports. This is beautiful. Much love for Tyler and his family and teammates
@@pabloramos420 What do you mean? This was outstanding, especially since it was the game they were honoring Tyler Skaggs. I'm an Astros fan but damn was this good.
Tyler was born 7/13/91 the Angels scored 7 runs in the first and came out and won with a total of 13 points. Also the last pitch of the game was 91 mph
Dude ur good. Humor and comedy is how alot of people deal with dark shit, some idiots get offended, fuck them, cope how you can, I'm the same way, I'm that guy that hopes on my funeral someone will give a eulogy that roasts the shit outta how fuckin fat I will no doubt be when I'm old. And ugly. And hope it helps someone. Plus it was fuckin funny I legit lol'd and I have always been a semi fan of Seattle back in the day not now but the 90s I watched em when my braves wasn't playing or Ryan wasn't on the mound. Because that man was a fuckin artist so I followed em.
I love what they did and I love how they let his mom pitch the first pitch and I love how I’m pretty sure right before she pitched she drew a heart or something in the mound Rip Tyler Skaggs
RIParadise Skaggs. And prayers out to the angels. Respect to the mariners too. They could've beat out that last play, and didn't try any silly foolishness to break up the no hitter. They were swinging. Still respecting the pitchers and honoring Skaggs. I'm glad respect is still in the baseball world.
This was my gym teachers son, I go to Santa Monica high school. He has a mural of him painted outside of our school. It’s such an honor to know his mom, he is truly talented and from a wonderful family. Thank you so much for your contributions to this game. God bless all of us.
I don’t care what any other human being says, baseball is the greatest sport ever and it always will be. As an A’s fan who hates the Angels, I love this. RIP Tyler Skaggs.
I love this video. All of us Angel fans are so blessed to have this amazing team and have Skaggs watching over us. He is our guardian Angel. GO ANGELS!
I’m the first inning the angels scored 7 runs which was his birth month and they ended up scoring 13 runs to represent his birth day 7-13-1992. This date was also the last time the angels had a no hitter
i was there at the game last night, and the energy was absolutely insane.. the stadium was just filled with so many emotions from joy to sadness. the best game i have ever been to. rip.. TS45
R.I.P Tyler Skaggs xoming from a yankees fan one of the best pitchers in the league and for the 38 people who dislike this video you dont have no soul 😠😠😠 Rest in Heavan Tyler 🙏🙏🙏
Such a beautiful moment! I am honered to have been there at the game and to be an angel fan. RIP #45 WE NASTY!!!!! Our angel is watching over us. ❤❤❤❤❤
Watching this for the first time 2 yrs after it happened & still, my heart broke 💔for a mother & a young widow who, together, showed amazing strength & also for a team with both a "W" and an "L"ú a for the same game.
This could have been a perfect game without the walk. But a no hitter is still amazing to honor the death of a player. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this before. RIP Tyler. Happy birthday. 7/13/91
This is the third early exit for the Angels this century… 1: Nick Adenhart (2009) 2: Luis Valbuena (2018) 3: Tyler Skaggs (2019) This isn’t happy for the Angels
