Emily Jones has been covering the Rangers for years. She is one of the family. She was at the Ballpark In Arlington when she went into labor with her first child three weeks early and several of the players rode with her to the hospital and went to the airport to pick up her husband who was out of town. She is family to them.
These players are the kids who never grew up. It must be a blast to hang out with them and be involved with all the shenanigans. I love baseball! So glad my dad and I never missed a Braves game.
That’s how we were able to watch every game too. I never went to a game with my dad in person, sadly. But I wouldn’t trade the excitement him and I shared together when Sid Bream slid into home base or Otis Nixon catching the ball over the fence. Those are the best memories a man can have of his father.
It's part of the culture the same way on sports if u are a coach u know from the moment the team won the cup you're getting bath on water. they will catch you mid enterview and throw water on you.
Until it is not. All it takes is one damp rag to spoil a good time for everyone. The is what the blue check marks on Twitter live for, ruining everyone's good time and making us angry at each other.
Well if they want to continue to have access to the team they need to be. Imagine one of these reporters filing a lawsuit against a player for these pranks. Shed be an outcast.
@@Xc662_ This is not disrespecting, this is having fun. None of this was because the reporters were women, none of it was sexual in nature, it was sibling fun.
During Blue Jays broadcasts on Sportsnet in Canada, Hazel Mae has had her share of Gatorade showers from time to time. When the Jays made a couple of good playoff runs a few years ago, Hazel went into the Jays locker room prepared while they were celebrating a few victories, so she wore a raincoat.
@@tony-pc4kd did you forget what you're mother oder father said to you when you was younger? When they are "messing" around with you, that means they like you ;)
I love how Jeter just calmly and matter-of-factly pours a beer on her head😂 Because at heart, all these dudes still just be a group of boys playing a game for a living😂 love it
This is why baseball is in my heart & soul. I love college football, but baseball is my heart. Even at the pro level, they still keep the childlike joy & fun. Also, GO BRAVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ah Sarah Kustok, I miss her...she left Chicago some years ago to cover the NY Nets on YES. I remember when a fan hit on her at a Chicago Blackhawks hockey game on live TV.
1:54 I maintain that Kim Jones used to sweat Derek Jeter. Every other reporter is trying to act like they aren't annoyed, she's trying to act like she isn't delighted. You will never convince me otherwise.
If any of these happened to a female reporter in 2021, it's be some huge controversy and it'd be the men harassing the women solely due to them being female. Gone are the times of just good old fun.
You know after watching this that makes me when become a mlb player when I grow up and the reasons why Number 1 you get to treat the reporters like your siblings 😂 number baseball is fun👍 Number 3 Win a game and it’s fun all night long😂
10 months ago I would have laughed at George Springer and Marwen Gonzalez. Now I flip off my screen while simultaneously looking for cheating equipment.
Ok first of all, I don't think this is harassment. It'd be one thing if the players did this frequently after being confronted about it either but their coach, the reporter, or news network. But the reporters seem to have fun along with them. I think it's cool to see them enjoy themselves.
This is funny... but it's even funnier when you know half the reporters in the vid lol! No, joke, either! Been around Guerin Austin, Julia Morales, Meredith Marakovits, and Laura Rutledge! And yes, I'd plan for each of them to get doused if the opportunity arose lmao!
I'm so glad to see the women reporters have great senses of humor. Because in this day and age you don't know what will happen if you joke with some women....
