i lowkey dont watch a video unless hes involved. idk the combo of personality and smarts is unreal to me. wish we had more Lucas in front of the cam but hes too GOATed
Scategories is one of my fav JM Baseball games! Jolly, if you are looking for a fun category, there wouldn't be too much overlap, but you can do number of letters in a players last name, but it has to be spelled correctly. I think that could be fun haha
I like the scoring method, although I would make one change. In the second tound, I would've liked to have seen the competitors lose a number of points equal to how many homeruns beyond 20 each of their guesses had.
The first guy I think of with the 100 RBIs is Tommy Herr of the 1985 Cardinals. It helps that he had a bunch of doubles, but the main factor was having Vince Coleman and Willie McGee directly in front of him.
First Round: Athletics - 17 Cardinals - 15 Dodgers - 21 Cubs - 8 Phillies - 11 Round Total 72 Second Round: Kris Bryant - 10 Andrew McCutchen - 12 Javier Baez - 9 Zach Gelof - 14 Mark Canha - 11 Round Total 56 Running Total 128 (Only one ahead of Dalton) Third Round: Raisel Iglesias - 33 Jordan Romano - 36 Kenley Jansen - 29 Ryan Pressley - 31 (BBD got the points so I counted myself for the points as well) Emmanuel Clase -44 (sneaky most saves since he had so many blown saves) Round Total 173 (142 without Pressley) Final Total 301 (270 without Pressley so a W regardless)
i am a GIGANTIC nerd so I played along and w/the cancellations of same answers (Tigers - BBD/A's - Dalton) from the 1st round being removed, here's how it came out: BBD 178 Dalton 239 Penik 133 Me 189 I went Reds/Tigers/Mets/A's/Guards for Divisions | Leody/Gimenez/Naylor/Carlson/Doyle for 20 HRs | Clase/Hader/Helsley/Sewald (lol)/Scott for SVs
I got only 19 points from the home run category, but it was fun names. 22 from Chas Mccormick (burned me), 11 from Riley Greene, 5 from Dominic Canzone, 3 from Jacob Stallings, and 0 from Adam Wainwright
This may be small of me, but I really dislike when Dalton starts naming teams/players right out of the gate, even if they are obvious. In this case he said something along the lines of *im writing the Yankees nobody write the Yankees* and in this case, it really affected the first round. I love his personality, but I think for this game specifically, it’s too much.
I don't think it's small of you it's just a difference in preferences and sense of fairness in games. I watch these primarily for the entertainment and personality on display and those antics and banter moments are what make these vids as watchable as they are. Understand how you feel though it does low key grind my gears a bit 😂
he honestly started doing it bc he'd just destroy the original games. but now that others seem more caught up / into the groove of these games i agree somewhat with you
For round 2 I thought of going all catchers who can hit, and what would you know, going for the contreras brothers, will smith, adley rutschman and jt realmuto all would've almost maxed out the category
What happened to the we got ice guys showing up in these videos? I feel like I’ve seen Jack in some shorts but Zo completely vanished. Did I miss something?
Big fan but will continue to request joez isn’t allowed too be apart of any trivia until he fixes one of the unbearable aspects that combined make it brutal to watch any video with him in it. He can be silly, have even most of these qualities listed, but hes gotta work on one or two of them to prevent him from continuing to ruin trivia. (time wasting blabbering, being obnoxious, loud/disrupting, not funny) and yes I’m aware he’s not in this video - this is for all trivia. Because when he’s not there you notice how much better the video is.
BBD is the best personality of you all I think. He is so quietly the funniest of them all other than MAYBE Jake. But his lowkey attitude makes him so much funnier.
