Ya, Vancouver folk get pissed with snow... They forget it is Canada. But to be fair, they don't see a lot and it don't stick around. And the new roof is a beautiful job
These are some Euro-snob responses. MLS fans for other teams feel zero responsibility for NYC's situation. That team was a money grab, pure and simple. It backfired on them, at least in terms of the stadium. (They have managed to put together some decent teams.) I for one laugh at it. The ownership structure is complicated. Yes, the league technically owns the team. But it's up to the ownership group to manage operations, including the stadium. It's the City group that are responsible. The league management partly as well since they approved this franchise without a stadium guarantee, like they were supposed to. But the money was too good for them to pass up. Again, a money grab. It makes Don Garber and his cronies look dumb, along with the City owners. But me and my LA Galaxy don't care! We think it's funny! Anyone who blame all the teams in the league for one team doing something stupid, sounds like prejudice to me. You just want to dump on MLS as a whole and this is an easy target.
@@benrichardson7306 yes your right. and hey they have money to build stadium. I don't know why europeans blame the whole league with that situation. (P.S: Go Galaxy... #gaLAxy)
NYCFC needs their own stadium. But if only the stupid parking company in the Bronx would accept the Yankees offer to help them pay off their debts to NYC
As a RedBull fan I approve of the dig at NYCFC and also your monster of joke haha. I also liked our fact I’ve gone to every RedBull game there and I didn’t even know that fact about our roof canopy it’s good to know.
Nice visuals. Great snapshots of cool parks! Love the game and want more fields and parks made. How about a clip on future small field streaming sport and event parks! Out door fieldturf futsal courts with seating for 500 to start.
I'm new to MLS so I've only been to Three of the Stadiums. Atlanta is my home, but I love going to Exploria Stadium in Orlando since the City is basically like a 2nd home for me & my Family for Decades. Originally I'm from Maryland, but I had no interest in DC United because I was a Eurosnob at the time, but them finally getting out of RFK is a Godsend! I'm hoping to go to Inter Miami this year and even head for Austin or Frisco, TX this year.
I had to say you know your stuff about the stadiums, I really like all of them. But, my heart has to go to The new Columbus Crew Stadium, being from Columbus and all.
NYC and Chicago haven't still have their own stadium yet and there are a new few of teams and stadiums I haven't known for the past several years like Columbus, Austin, Cincinnati, Miami and Nashville. And I hope MLS someday get to take the promotion and relegation system in them then it would be much more fun to see them play. from S. Korea
Became a fan of the MLS when the Son’s of Ben won the franchise for Philadelphia! Have taken many matches at Suberu Park. Saw Wayne Rooney play 2 times there. Manchester United in a friendly vs the Union and again when he played for DC United. Very happy to see the Union make it to the MLS cup final in 22. Shane to loose in penalty kicks. Love the spirit and loyalty of the Union fans! 22 was a great year for Philly sports. The Phillies and the Union. Hopefully the eagles will do well in the playoffs!!
Lumen field, and Mercedes Benz are 🏈 stadiums first. Also nycfc play in a baseball stadium. Sounders and ATL probably deserve their own but those buildings are expen$ive. Great video mate!! 💛💚🌲💚💛 Rose City till I die!!
Lumen Field was built with the original expectation of housing both football and soccer, the Seahawks just happened to use it first. You know this very well being in Oregon, clout chaser.
@@samuelpinder1215 I'm sorry let me check ok I think I know what he said shut the heck up and soccer is football football is soccer and it not handegg stupid it gridiron or American football and American football is not shaped like a egg idoit
I've been to a few of these in person. My favorite was Mercedes-Benz in Atlanta, followed by Red Bull Arena. Least favorite - Nippert in Cincinnati. BMO was the only one I ever left early due to how cold it gets in October in Toronto.
Pretty good video. One thing though...Atlanta isn't the only MLS Team who plays at a retractable roof stadium. Vancouver's stadium also features a retractable roof.
uhm about BC Place your comment about the snow buildup is correct but that isn't why the new roof was built. The bubble roof was still featured in the 2010 olympics
Charlotte FC will be playing in Bank of America Stadium, and if they do get a new stadium it will probably still be shared by the panthers since they need a new stadium too.
@@richardzamora902 I hope so, I feel like they are just trying to save money by grouping the panthers and charlotte fc in bank of america stadium but if they want soccer to really take off I feel that they need their own stadiums
@@addisonzucker1532 It takes years to build a stadium so they have to play on a temporary stadium or they could have chosen Clemson Stadium like the Panthers did in their first season
Lol at NYCFC. Don’t worry they have a backup stadium in New York! The baseball stadium of the other New York team! No wait they have a third in case both teams are playing .. Red Bull Arena
@@kapitan788 I don't think many of us would go to Metlife either. If we didn't mind traveling to NJ, we'd just be RB fans, and for the fans who were RB fans, they would have just stayed there.
When did the Fire move into Soldier Field? They were out at Toyota Park in the suburbs, not to be confused with Toyota Stadium, or the City of Toyota. 🤭
they moved last year to Soldier Field but Corona spoiled their home-opener so they have not had fans to soldier field yet. Toyota Park is for their reserve teams games now
Need to update the photo. Quirky, still, but looks better with the east side expansion. Also, home to the NWSL's Portland Thorns, the best supported women's club team in the world.
he's more than likely a far leftist that embraces communism and considers anyone that disagrees with him a Nazi..... Just like the Emerald City Supporters and the Timbers Army.
I've been wondered that How much popular is football (I mean soccer) in USA than any other sports like hotkey, baseball, baseball and American football.😆
When will NYCFC get their own venue playing in Yankee Stadium is cool and all, but it's about time they get their own place, maybe in an area close by?
As much as we'd want one, our Mayor has no interest in having a new stadium in the city. Especially considering Yankee Stadium and Citi Field were just opened in 2009 so are brand new stadiums for their respective sport. However he is in his last term so hopefully the new Mayor is open to listen to the idea.
It would have been cool if NFL and MLB stadiums were left out and concentrated on MLS only. Question Why do they still allow teams to have artificial grass?
@@gopher6532 probably Manchester United. For a while, that was the only football/soccer team you heard about over here. I think MLS wanted to have team names that invoked a connection with famous European teams. One of them could have used Arsenal or Hotspur(probably Chicago before the Cubs won the World Series)because they are cool names that aren't United FC.
It's also the site where Dave Winfield got arrested for killing a seagull with a baseball in 1983, back when Exhibition Stadium was on the site BMO sits at now.
will they be fit 4 26 ? semi quarter final ?? octo ?? (know how to jump ball over wall ? etc ? penüllteas x) @ thats not a stadium. westfalen and meazza are ^^ and that bayern ufo? ? (ps ?) shadium ? color-adeo xD 3:10 st päülie xD
NYCFC should move the team to Red Hook Brooklyn. Build a open roof stadium with sight lines of NYC, Brooklyn Bridge and Jersey. Close to Subway, highways linking LI, CT, NJ and and the other boroughs of NYC. Yankee Stadium for Soccer is a disgrace
Montreal Impact doesn't exist anymore. They are now called C.F. Montreal aka "The Snowflakes". What an embarrassment of rebranding. The team will move out of Montreal within the next few years.
