Just like Star Wars, Disney as a whole is creatively bankrupted for a while now. I know many fools got hooked by the Deadpool fanservice, but I refuse to give any more money for Disney even if they deliver a fun schlock of a movie like Deadpool 3, Disney is rotten. Saying that, I am excited for Marvel Rivals, it will be my new comfy game... so yeah, hypocrisy. Disney own so much stuff, it's hard to completely boycott them
Honestly, if Terry Cruse decided to play the lead in a Parody/Scary Movie type movie called Snow Black and the Seven Enormous Samoans and just make it into a masculine/muscular melody/musical, I’d watch it over this version of Snow White😂

Disney's been changing how these classic stories go since the 40s. They didn't invent Snow White or Cinderella, these have existed for hundreds of years prior. Yeah, before they even announced the Mulan live action remake I was looking forward to them doing it, as I could see it work perfectly by just removing Mushu and Cri-kee as well as the songs, then it's a serious take on the same story which would be very good, because different from their attempts with Aladdin its story doesn't need the expressive animation because of all the cartoon fun they inserted, in Mulan all that is just extra. But they butchered it anyway and seems to stick to the awful almost 1:1 way of converting cartoons to live action, saves writer cost I guess

I think some people miss the point. Even in the cartoon the evil queen was also very beautiful. What was ugly wasn't her physical beauty but her jealousy towards Snow White. Even if the mirror told the queen she was the farest among the lands, the queen will still probably get Snow White killed because she's insecure about it. Remember, Snow White was a still a child back then so the queen thought that the older Snow White would get the more beautiful she would be.

The Mufasa trailer is depressing, because if they actually animated that with the 90s drawn animated style and put as much heart into it as they put into the original film it could genuinely have been a great prequel, but that's not what it's going to be and we all know it.

Yep. I get why YT did it, but it can be annoying when you want to find a cert scene from a kids movie and see people's comments on it. Like when I was looking up scenes of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (never would have guessed that movie was as good as it is till I saw a review).
The Mufasa prequel movie REALLY confuses me Imagine being a first time Lion King fan You see Mufasa first and go "OH MAN THIS CHARACTER IS GREAT I CAN"T WAIT TO SEE WHAT HIS DESTINY TRULY IS" watches Lion King, sees destiny was being trampled to death. your favorite character is now dead and that is the ending of his story, no real great anything.

Rachel is way too young to play the queen and Gadot is too old to play Snow White. Gadot's casting is fine, but Snow White is supposed to be more attractive than her.
I know this might sound crazy, but maybe it would fit better as a movie. I'd rather have a movie than a drawn out series. Raya would've benefitted from being a series though tbh. The animation looks incredible ngl. And I'm digging that Maui is so willingly ready to help now.
@@TheRibottoStudios seeing they are bringing in more characters and new threats than the first movie, and since it's a kids movie so it won't be 2+ hours, I don't think they gonna be able to make it as snappy as the first one. They should have just made it a series... pilot show - Moana and her people are settleing a new island + we get slowly introduced with the new chars and a little bit of the next major threat, THEN in subsequent episodes show her tackle 1 or max 2 things while island hopping... ez pz... but NOOO Disney wants to have their cake and eat it too... this is just sequalities at this point, hopefully not too many people will fall for it so that Disney goes back to producing actual quality stuff, not just reboots / sequels while being lazy at it...

Alex no one took Dinklage out of context. He claimed there was hypocrisy casting a Latina snow white which he thinks is good but still telling this old "backwards" story about dwarves in a cave, like it's such a bad thing. And as a result, real dwarves who would kill for such a role were robbed of the chance because Peter thinks he's the spokesman of dwarves and Disney wants to be politically correct in an attempt to cater to "marginalized" groups, all while ending up hurting the very group they're trying to be sensitive to. Moana 2 was originally meant to be a Disney+ tv show. Disney panicked and decided to make it into a movie and had to re record all the lines and songs with the rock and forked out tons of money to do the recording
It wasn't his fault. He only complained the fact that 7 dwarves should be played by dwarf actors, but that the story should have been more believable. But instead they hired no one and pissed off a whole community that BARELY GETS REPRESENTED.
@@VicAtNyteit partly is his fault in that he should have phrased something so important a lot better, and with more care. He very clearly criticized the stereotypes. Producers got cold feet for stereotyping dwarves in any role. To avoid criticism like Dinklage’s, and bad press, they simply stopped giving that role out at all. Most of that community you spoke of certainly blames him a lot. Dinklage has also come out with other poorly thought out comments before that that have received criticism and a strong reaction. He really needs to learn that his public words have consequences.

As someone with Achondroplasia (Dwarfism) I honestly don’t know what I find more offensive. The fact that we almost got a cast of diverse rip offs or the fact that we now have the terrible CGI versions. It’s ironic that a company that seems to only care about diversity has just taken away the largest acting role ever from the drawf community!
The dwarf parts could have been super meaty dramatic roles. The role of Doc especially. Dinklage just didn't want anybody else to get in on his stardom.

Two things about the Dwarves. 1) The Dwarves in the original were never depicted in a negative light. In fact, they personified how diverse personalities can live together and work together in peace. 2) The Dwarves are not actual Little People/Midgets. The Dwarves in this story are magical in nature. Similar to Elves or other fictional magical creatures.
I think it's notable they changed the title to simply "Snow White" and that everyone writes "dwarves" instead of "dwarfs" as Walt called them. The original movie is "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." Still not related to little people though they would be most suited to play the role.

Toy Story 4, in my opinion, was surprisingly great. But to make a sequel to that movie, which honestly was dangerously close already to overstepping, sounds like a stupid idea.
Toy story 3 though was the perfect ending. (The whole point of the 3rd film was we all have to grow up and move on in life. Something Disney is too afraid to do themselves it seems. Kinda ironic.) Adding onto that with 4 and 5 just felt forced and very unnecessary.
I think Moana 2 will mostly follow in the steps of Frozen 2 - decent, great pickup for a now older set of kids in their teen years as a throwback, and ultimately not surpassing the first one.
Snow White a character named for her characteristic Snow White skin. And now casting a actress of colour. I’m all for equality, more so then ever. But it’s a hard time to be a straight white actor in this day and age. Too woke is just as damaging for a brand as no inclusivity. It’s tiring now.
Christ Alex I thought you had standards, Toy Story 4 was on the level of the live action remakes in terms of quality. Visually the best, but the story, writing and characters were AWFUL. 1000x worse than a straight to video Disney sequel. Buzz' regression and dumb repeated joke of listining to his inner voice, the other toys just shunted off to the side for 99% of the movie being pointless and completely chainging Bo Peep to be a girl boss "who dont need no kid" and repeating the villain trend of "nice on outside but actually super evil and controlling of a bunch of other toys. Toy Story 4 was a tired pointless waste of time that regressed EVERYONE. It was awful.
To be totally honest... I expected them to cut their losses on Snow White and burn the tapes. Turns out they really did burn the tapes, only they tried to stitch a CGI clusterf**k out of whatever was left over... And that almost seems worse.

Buzz Lightyear of Star Command was a GREAT show with lots of lore and world building. If they insist on continuing stories with characters from Toy Story, doing the Star Command stories with updated 3D animation would be so dope and would sell like crazy (as long as there are no current world politics) My youngest son loves Buzz, and to have more of him would be awesome, but not like this, not in the sequel space that's burnt out already.

They have a history of criticizing bad writing for female Characters which happens often within Disney projects. They've praised shows and movies that had female leads that were competently written such as Prey and parts of House of Dragon.
