Mob Psycho 100 - My Favourite Anime 

I love how the show's main focus isn't about becoming powerful, it's about mental health and dealing with things like anxiety. That alone is a huge contributor of this show becoming my favourite anime as well.

So many shows rely on cheap feel-good tropes like "friends/family are all that matters", cute animals, and cliched romances. Mob Psycho is one of the most positive shows I've ever seen, and it does it the hard way through a message of self-improvement and empathy. This show is literally making the world a better place. Humanity would be a better species if every human watched Mob Psycho 100

Season 2 has definitely surpassed season 1. The character development of mob, the emotions, the plot, the animation. Hats off to Bones studio.

I was talking to a friend about anime once, and he told me he thought Mob Pyscho 100 was a masterpiece. I had no idea he had seen the show. You have no clue how happy this made me.

As a kid on the spectrum, along with other percieved issues, I've always had issues with my emotions and empathy. Though I've worked hard to not be socially awkward, Mob has spoken to me very deeply since season one. Whether on purpose or by accident this show speaks to my autistic nature in a way that shows actually about autism fail to do. This show is very special to me, its hard to really speak in words the many reasons that I think its one of the most important anime of all time.

Ep 7 is so annoying. After Reigen meets Mob at the end, the screen suddenly becomes super blurry. I have not been able to find a version that doesn't have this problem. I know it's only for the last 30 seconds or so, but I swear the blurry screen transcends the video and continues for a while into real life.

Some might not like Mob Psycho unique animation style but I love it and holy shit they have taken it to the next level this season.Bones has gone batshit crazy.

I remember being absolutely astonished during the final arc of season one when Reigen talked all of those Claw grunts out of being villainous just by pointing out how cruel their actions were. In almost any other story that approach would get a character laughed at and then brutally murdered, which always makes me sad because it says some very nasty things about people who are kind and hopeful and the capacity for people who do bad things to change for the better. And what astonished me even more was that the show maintained that sympathetic approach with every stronger subsequent villain. There was never a point where someone was strong enough and evil enough that being kind and wanting people to change became a weakness.

mob psycho is the most unique and important piece of media i've ever consumed. It's so important to me for so many reasons and i regret that i didn't have it earlier in my life. and anime pushes the boundaries of what anime is and should be, and reading the manga i know, it does justice to ONE's brilliant writing.

I was continuously recommending Mob Psycho to my coworkers, and one of them went, "You mean this?" with the live action Netflix remake on his phone. I almost slapped it out of his hand.

Shige-o literally means "accurate," "sharp," or "delicate" boy in Japanese, which can be pronounced as Mo-bu in another Japanese way of the Chinese characters That is why the main character is called in two different ways Shigeo is his formal name and Mobu is his nickname

I liked the first season of Mob Psycho 100 but the second season is on a whole different level. It quickly became my favorite Anime aswell.

Studio Bones is killing it with Mob Psycho, that and the music choice is phenomenal. Even got into the manga for it and bought the physical copy of Vol 1 in English on the day of release.

I love One punch man to death.. but Mob just stole my heart as well. And what I love the most is watching ONE evolve as a writer. The small nuances in OPM themes are expertly expressed in MP100's wholesome and phenomenally written characters. It's quite incredible to see a writer create such amazing and relatable characters.

8:08 (S2, Episode 5, 21:30) where she apologizes is one of the most heart wrenching minutes of anime I have ever seen. The voice acting is phenomenal, the backstory is believable and compelling, and my fucking god, the animation is some of the best I have ever seen. The way the animators were able to portray her emotions through her body language, wide eyes, and trembling fingers is absolutely fantastic.

Mob is one of the few characters that i truely feel a connection with and it just feels great that there are other people that feel the same

"the reason mob is so powerful is that hes a sensitive emotional kid, and its that trait, and not the power that it gives him that proves to be mobs greatest strength" -is also why i think mp100 is one of the best "shounen" out there cuz while i loved anime like naruto growing up, and while they taught me a lot about things like hard work, they also tend to romanticize power and violence. mp100 managed to give us some of the best action scenes in anime and still stay grounded which is what young boys (the target audience of shounen) need.

I disagree that Mob is an uninteresting charater. My first thought when I met him was *MUST PROTECC.* Mob is an adorable cinnomom roll, who's kind and thoughtful. And his intense awkwardness and lack social skills is relatable and endearing as all get out. And that's all before you truly get know him and learn what an amazing person he really is. I think mob is an incredible role model, not just for kids but for adults too. He shows that the way too a good life is hard work and empthay. Something that many other shows (cough, cough, Naruto, cough, cough) that espouse the same ideas fail at. I'd say he's one best if not the best character of the series.

I think MP100 manages to be my favorite anime bc of things like writing, characters, animation, but also bc there's a special kind of resonance thanks to mental health issues, neurodivergence/ADHD, and the struggles I've had growing up, learning to socialize, and figuring what I want to do with my life.

You know you did a great job with your characters when someone like me, who watches stuff for the action, wants to skip the action for more character driven moments.

okay seriously, mob psycho 100 is the one and only piece of media i can truly say it change me for the best. first of all, the anime came out when i was struggling with my autism and i just started college which was a huge change for me. i needed to be a productive member of society and i didn't know how to. then i watch mob and i learn that even by my difference, and even if it can hurt people sometime, i'm still a person. not to ignore those issue or embrace it, but to view it as something to offer and control, to become a helpful member of society with it or despise of it. Mob psycho is one of the best coming of age anime and it as super power people fighting each other. what more do you need!!!!

Dr. Stone is my favourite because it came out as I was struggling with my chemistry degree and seeing this science badass just clean house with chemicals n stuff honestly inspired me, and I'm happy to say, 2 years later I now have a chemistry degree

Mob psycho has made me cry and laugh more than almost any anime. While others have given me access to wells of feeling I didn't know I had, Mob Psycho is something I can relate to. The characters, their repression, their growth. To quote the chief editor in Bakuman, "manga just has to be good, good manga gets published." Mob Psycho is good.

I love how much more detail is given to Ritsu and Tsubomi. It kind of sometimes feels like watching a side plot of a different anime. And its awesome!

Mob psycho is my favorite because I literally one of the same things he did lmao. I thought I was sorta a loser so I joined sports development pe in school even though I had no training or proper experience nor was I expecting to be able todo sports later. I was the least athletic kid in that class but everyone there was there for me. I loved the body improvement club so much in the anime

For having such strong comedic elements (not sure I would full on call it a comedy) Mob Psycho is amazingly deep and touches on so many issue with a kind of freshness and honesty that makes it an absolute treat to watch. It sounds silly to say that my life is better for having watched a tv show, especially an anime, but I have no hesitations saying it about Mob Psycho. Work hard, improve yourself, be a good person, that is all.

The fact that I just learned people dropped this show because of it's art style makes me more puzzled because that was the appeal for me! I love art and especially anime. This is probably in my top 5 anime of all time

you know how every good anime has that one episode that sticks with you and fundamentally changes something about you or how you see the world? yeah that's literally EVERY EPISODE of mp100 season 2 so far (not that season 1 wasn't also incredible!). i keep thinking it can't possibly get better but every episode feels like a very loving punch to the gut and makes me want to be a better, kinder, stronger, more genuine person. why be bitter and spiteful towards the hurt the world has given you when you can be gentle and kind and grateful towards the good things and people in your life? this is what mp100 makes me think about. also, episode 5 deserves a goddamn oscar.

Mob Psycho 100 secretly proves that it's the best anime ever even since the first season. You get to experience some of the best character developments such as Dimple, Teru, Kamuro Shinji (student council), Ristu, Onigawara and not to mention Mob and Reigen developing in the second season. The simplicity of all the unique looking characters help to animate more movements than any other anime and also helps to create the most amazing fight scenes that you will ever see. There are so many different medias of art used to make comedic effect like pencil drawings etc. which is very original compared to the sweat drip mark or the angry vein mark. You also never know where the plot is going to go. Just when you think something is going to happen, the story changes into something completely new which is one of the most enjoyable experiences when watching a tv show also there is some romance starting to happen ;) Its the best!

If you cried during Reigen’s recent episode, just wait for Dimple in the next season.

I heard that the anime doesn’t cover the entire manga and, if you haven’t read it, you owe it to yourself, to Mob, and especially to Reigen to finish the story. 100% worth it.

I love this anime aswell. I was blown away by the last episode. I told my friend that watching mob psycho 100 is like watching a 1000 piece puzzle fall piece by piece from the sky perfectly into place on the ground in front of you.

It was mainly my brother's influence, but just hearing you reference and praise it in other series pushed it up in my subconscious. Mob Psycho is honestly one of the best TV shows I've seen and the things you said are basically how I feel about it. It became one of the best I'd ever seen during the Teruki situation in season 1, that's still amazing.

I never connected the dots that Mob's true power comes from his emotional sensitivity and empathy. As someone who struggles with liking that aspect of myself sometimes it's helped me see it in a more ppositive light. Oh and favorite anime besides Avatar the last airbender would be Assassination Classroom, it's such an amazing show that deserves to be more popular than it already is.

Ive watched this mob100 episode time and again with the same emotional satisfaction as the day it aired. The level of mastery captured in this is art-form is to be sought-after and envied by some if not most of your contemporaries. This in turn has led me to press the play button more times on this particular video than the actual episode, mind you ive lost count. What's great about Mob Psycho is its deep , complex, unique and fun characters. Even if it weren't an anime on espers, this anime would have still been great. Because of its characters. I love Mob Psycho 100 so much. This is first anime I have been excited to see a season 2 for. And I would probably have the same reaction for Noragami season 3. Noragami is anime that has the top place in my heart. To next to it, comes Mob Psycho 100. If bones would ever decide to do that season 3, I would be blessed. And that is likely not to happen. 😥. But I love Shigeo so 😁.
